John 17:23 (KJV); I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
We are all familiar with teachings that emphasise that we are separate from God. Some people’s prayers are an expression of this separation.
They say, “God is far above and I am down below. God is too far because I am a sinner.”
Any message that distances a believer from God also has the direct effect of alienating him from the knowledge of God.
The teaching that builds us in the knowledge of God is the kind which reconciles us to Him in oneness.
Like Christ says in our theme scripture, ‘He in us, God in Him, that we may be made perfect in one that the world may know that God sent Him.’
When we are reminded that in God we live, move and have our being, we know Him more (Acts 17:28). When we understand that we are the temple of God, we know Him more (1 Corinthians 3:16). When we remember that He that is joined to the Lord is one Spirit, we know Him more (1 Corinthians 6:17).

Proverbs 4:8 (NLT); If you prize wisdom, she will make you great. Embrace her, and she will honor you.
Wisdom causes a man’s star to shine.
In Ecclesiastes 8:1, the Bible says, “…a man’s wisdom maketh his face to shine, and the boldness of his face shall be changed.”
In Daniel 12:3, the Bible also says, “And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament.”
When you understand the value of wisdom in your life, you learn to prize it like our theme scripture instructs.
How do you respond when you meet a man of wisdom? It is an error to interrupt a wise man while he speaks to you in a bid to squeeze your own experiences into the conversation and demonstrate how much you level up to him.
Do you honour those who impart knowledge and counsel to you? Even if it is a relative or a boss, honour them as led by God, for example by buying them a gift to say thank you. They may not need your gift but your act of doing so in recognition of what value they add to your life will activate the law of attraction in your favour.
How do you interact with a book that gives you wisdom? Do you read it as another story or a string of eloquent phrases without picking the instruction therein or do you read it for an impartation?
May your words, thoughts and actions reflect those of a man who always holds wisdom in high regard.

Unapoelewa thamani ya hekima katika maisha yako, unajifunza kuithamini kama vile andiko letu kuu linavyoelekeza.
Unajibu vipi unapokutana na mtu mwenye hekima? Ni kosa kumkatiza mtu mwenye hekima wakati anazungumza na wewe kwa nia ya kuweka uzoefu wako mwenyewe katika mazungumzo na kuonesha jinsi unavyolingana naye.
Je, unawaheshimu wale wanaokupa maarifa na ushauri? Hata kama ni ndugu au bosi, waheshimu kama wanaongozwa na Mungu, kwa mfano kuwanunulia zawadi ya kusema asante. Inawezekana wasihitaji zawadi yako lakini kwa kutambua thamani wanayoongeza katika maisha yako kutaamsha sheria ya mvuto kwa ajili ya kukupendelea wewe.
Je, unahusiana vipi na kitabu kinachokupa hekima? Je, unakisoma kama hadithi nyingine au mfululizo wa misemo yenye ufasaha bila kuchukua maelekezo yaliyomo ndani yake au je unakisoma ili kupata uambukizo?
Na maneno yako, mawazo na matendo yaakisi yale ya mtu ambaye daima anashikilia hekima kwa heshima kubwa.

Spreuken 4:8 (NBV21); Acht de wijsheid hoog, dan geeft ze je aanzien, ze strekt je tot eer wanneer je haar omhelst.
Wijsheid doet de ster van een man schitteren.
In Prediker 8:1 zegt de Bijbel: “…De wijsheid van de mens verlicht zijn gezicht, zodat de stuursheid van zijn gezicht wordt veranderd.”
In Daniël 12:3 zegt de Bijbel ook “De verstandigen zullen blinken als de glans van het hemelgewelf,”
Als je de waarde van wijsheid in je leven begrijpt, leer je het te prijzen zoals ons themaschrift opdraagt.
Hoe reageer je als je een wijs man ontmoet? Het is een vergissing om een wijze man te onderbreken terwijl hij tegen je praat in een poging om je eigen ervaringen in het gesprek te persen en te laten zien hoe hoog jouw niveau is ten opzichte van hem.
Eert u degenen die u kennis en raad geven? Zelfs als het een familielid of een baas is, eer ze dan zoals geleid door God, bijvoorbeeld door ze een geschenk te kopen om ze te bedanken. Ze hebben je geschenk misschien niet nodig, maar als je dit doet als erkenning van de waarde die ze aan je leven toevoegen, wordt de wet van aantrekking in jouw voordeel geactiveerd.
Hoe ga je om met een boek dat je wijsheid geeft? Lees je het als een ander verhaal of een reeks welsprekende zinnen zonder de instructie erin te pakken of lees je het voor een inbreng(toevoeging)?
Mogen uw woorden, gedachten en daden weerspiegelen als die van een mens die wijsheid altijd hoog in het vaandel heeft staan.

HET GOUDKLOMPJE: Wijsheid doet de ster van een mens schijnen. Mogen uw woorden, gedachten en daden weerspiegelen als die van een mens die wijsheid altijd hoog in het vaandel heeft staan.
GEBED: Liefhebbende Vader, ik dank U omdat ik wijs ben. Christus werd mijn wijsheid gemaakt en als zodanig is de veelvoudige wijsheid van God in mij aan het werk. Mijn carrière, gezin, bedrijf en bediening schitteren vanwege wijsheid. Ik streef na en zoek haar in alles wat ik doe, in Jezus’ naam, amen.

La sagesse fait briller l’étoile d’un homme.
Dans Ecclésiaste 8:1, la Bible dit : « … La sagesse de l’homme fait briller son visage, et la sévérité de son visage se dissipe.
Dans Daniel 12: 3, la Bible dit également:« Ceux qui auront eu du discernement brilleront comme brille la voûte céleste.
Lorsque vous comprenez la valeur de la sagesse dans votre vie, vous apprenez à la valoriser comme l’indique notre Écriture thématique.
Comment vous comportez-vous lorsque vous rencontrez un homme de sagesse ? C’est une erreur d’interrompre un homme sage pendant qu’il vous parle dans le but de faire entrer vos propres expériences dans la conversation et de démontrer à quel point vous vous alignez sur lui.
Honorez-vous ceux qui vous transmettent des connaissances et des conseils ? Même s’il s’agit d’un parent ou d’un patron, honorez-le comme conduit par Dieu, par exemple en lui achetant un cadeau pour lui dire merci. Ils n’ont peut-être pas besoin de votre cadeau, mais votre acte de le faire en reconnaissance de la valeur qu’ils ajoutent à votre vie activera la loi d’attraction en votre faveur.
Comment interagissez-vous avec un livre qui vous donne la sagesse? Le lisez-vous comme une autre histoire ou une série de phrases éloquentes sans en choisir l’instruction ou le lisez-vous pour une transmission ?
Puissent vos paroles, vos pensées et vos actions refléter celles d’un homme qui tient toujours la sagesse en haute estime.

PÉPITE D’OR: La sagesse fait briller l’étoile d’un homme. Puissent vos paroles, vos pensées et vos actions refléter celles d’un homme qui tient toujours la sagesse en haute estime.
PRIÈRE: Père bien-aimé, je te remercie parce que je suis sage. Christ est devenu ma sagesse et en tant que telle, la sagesse multiple de Dieu est à l’œuvre en moi. Ma carrière, ma famille, mon entreprise et mon ministère brillent grâce à la sagesse. Je la poursuis et la courtise dans tout ce que je fais, au nom de Jésus, Amen.

Matthew 11:18-19 (KJV); For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, He hath a devil. The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom is justified of her children.
In this life, people will call you all sorts of things. They may make all manner of outrageous accusations against you.
You are in good company, child of God.
John the Baptist was accused of being demon possessed. Christ was called a glutton and a drunkard. One man even went so far as to call Him a prince of demons, Beelzebul (Matthew 12:24).
What comfort has the Lord given us? He says that wisdom is justified of her children.
It does not matter what people perceive you to be; wisdom will always be your vindication. Pursue the course of wisdom in all the things you do.
When you act unwisely because you are overwhelmed by anger and resentment at what people say about you, you deem the light of your star.
You do not have to fight back and rant because a man called you a funny name. That is a lack of wisdom. It is a sign of weakness when you explode in anger because you have been offended.
The Bible says that the wisdom from above is peaceable (James 3:17). Show me a man at peace in the face of extreme provocation and I will show you a wise man.

PRAYER: Father, I thank You for Your counsel. The Bible says that in Christ are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. The same Christ lives in me. I am wise in all that I say and do. When people examine my life, they see the pattern of wisdom, to the glory of Your name, Amen.

Katika maisha haya, watu watakuita kila aina ya vitu. Wanaweza kutoa kila aina ya shutuma kali dhidi yako.
Uko katika ushirika mzuri, mwana wa Mungu.
Yohana Mbatizaji alishutumiwa kuwa ana pepo. Kristo aliitwa mlafi na mlevi. Mtu mmoja alifika mbali zaidi hata kumwita mkuu wa pepo, Beelzebuli (Mathayo 12:24).
Bwana ametupa faraja gani? Anasema kuwa hekima imejulikana kuwa ina haki kwa watoto wake wote.
Haijalishi watu wanakuona kwa mtazamo upi; Hekima daima itakuwa uthibitisho wako. Fuatilia mwendo wa hekima katika mambo yote unayoyafanya.
Unapotenda kinyume cha hekima kwa sababu umezidiwa na hasira na chuki kwa kile watu wanachosema juu yako, unaizima nuru ya nyota yako.
Sio lazima kupambana na kupiga kelele kwa sababu mtu alikuita jina fulani. Huko ni kukosa hekima. Ni dalili ya udhaifu unapolipuka kwa hasira kwa sababu umeudhiwa.
Biblia inasema kwamba hekima kutoka juu ni ya amani (Yakobo 3:17). Nionyeshe mtu mwenye amani mbele ya uchokozi uliokithiri na nitakuonyesha mtu mwenye hekima.

Maar de Wijsheid is gerechtvaardigd door Haar kinderen.
In dit leven zullen mensen je van alles noemen. Ze kunnen allerlei buitensporige beschuldigingen tegen u uiten.
Je bent in goed gezelschap, kind van God.
Johannes de Doper werd ervan beschuldigd door demonen bezeten te zijn. Christus werd een veelvraat en een dronkaard genoemd. Eén man ging zelfs zo ver dat hij Hem een prins der demonen noemde, Beëlzebul (Matteüs 12:24).
Welke troost heeft de Heer ons gegeven? Hij zegt dat wijsheid gerechtvaardigd is van haar kinderen.
Het maakt niet uit hoe mensen je zien; wijsheid zal altijd uw rechtvaardiging zijn. Volg de weg van wijsheid in alle dingen die je doet.
Wanneer je onverstandig handelt omdat je overweldigd wordt door woede en wrok over wat mensen over je zeggen, oordeel je het licht van je ster.
Je hoeft niet terug te vechten en tekeer te gaan omdat een man je een rare naam noemde. Dat is een gebrek aan wijsheid. Het is een teken van zwakte als je in woede uitbarst omdat je beledigd bent.
De Bijbel zegt dat de wijsheid van boven vredelievend is (Jakobus 3:17). Laat me een man zien die vrede heeft ondanks extreme provocatie en ik zal je een wijze man laten zien.

LA JUSTIFICATION DE LA SAGESSE

Dans cette vie, les gens vous appelleront toutes sortes de choses. Ils peuvent faire toutes sortes d’accusations scandaleuses contre vous.
Tu es en bonne compagnie, enfant de Dieu.
Jean-Baptiste a été accusé d’être possédé par un démon. Le Christ a été traité de glouton et d’ivrogne. Un homme est même allé jusqu’à appeler le Christ un prince des démons, Belzébul (Matthieu 12:24).
Quelle consolation le Seigneur nous a-t-il donnée ? Il dit que la sagesse est justifiée de ses enfants.
Peu importe ce que les gens vous perçoivent ; la sagesse sera toujours votre justification. Suivez le cours de la sagesse dans tout ce que vous faites.
Lorsque vous agissez imprudemment parce que vous êtes submergé par la colère et le ressentiment face à ce que les gens disent de vous, vous rêvez la lumière de votre étoile.
Vous n’avez pas à vous battre et à vous plaindre parce qu’un homme vous a traité d’un drôle de nom. C’est un manque de sagesse. C’est un signe de faiblesse lorsque vous explosez de colère parce que vous avez été offensé.
La Bible dit que la sagesse d’en haut est pacifique (Jacques 3:17). Montrez-moi un homme en paix face à une provocation extrême et je vous montrerai un homme sage.

Proverbs 4:18 (KJV); But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.
Every new day has been designed by God to add more value to you. This is why your path as a child of God is as the shining light.
The Message Version of the same scripture puts it beautifully when it says, “The ways of right-living people glow with light; the longer they live, the brighter they shine.”
Wake up every morning with the mindset that the day favours you because there is a light that is available to simply make you shine.
When you shine, you attract.
In describing John the Baptist, the Bible says he was a ‘burning and shining light’ (John 5:35). The effect of this is evidenced in Matthew 3:5. The Bible says, “Then went out to him Jerusalem, and all Judaea, and all the region round about Jordan.”
In Isaiah 60:3, the scripture says, “Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn.”
As you shine, you attract favour; as you shine, you attract provision; as you shine, you attract destiny helpers; as you shine, you attract opportunities.

La version du message de la même Écriture le dit magnifiquement lorsqu’elle dit : « Les voies des gens qui vivent bien brillent de lumière ; plus ils vivent longtemps, plus ils brillent.
Réveillez-vous chaque matin avec l’état d’esprit que la journée vous favorise car il y a une lumière qui est disponible pour vous faire briller simplement.
Lorsque vous brillez, vous attirez.

The world is in a constant state of change. In the midst of all this, one thing remains the same and this is the Message of Christ.
In Hebrews 13:8, the Bible says that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
What may be perceived as change in the Message is only a glory to glory experience. We progress from knowledge to knowledge, revelation to revelation, dimension to dimension, and grace to grace.
That is why, as a child of God, you must adapt to the changing times and seasons in the SPIRIT.
In the realm of spirits, graces, and mantles shift; you must be alive to those changes.
The God of knowledge is always raising a standard and you must be attuned to this. If not, your depth might be the shallowness of a new age; your knowledge the ignorance of a dispensation and your definition of wealth the poverty of an era.

As change happens in the world, so does change in the Church. It is unfortunate that Christians are usually slower at adapting to these changes than the men of this world.
When the printing press was invented by Johannes Gutenberg around 1436, it made it possible to have the Bible massively printed. The Catholic Church then fought this initiative with one critic stating that the Bible was a sacred text and no one could produce so many copies of it at once, except the devil himself.
When the internet came into use, a number of churches thought it was the mark of the beast and kept away from it. Years later, many ministries actively use the internet, have YouTube channels, Facebook pages, and Twitter handles.
Consequently, the Church is always behind in adapting to changing technologies.
As a church, we must be alive to the changing times and know how to align ourselves to them. We must have the best that the world has to offer not because it defines our identity and is the only way the gospel can get preached but because these are tools to reach multitudes.
Where is the Church while the world transitions into digital currencies? Where is the Church as augmented realities take root? Where is the Church as blockchain, the Internet of things, 3D printing, and robotics permeate the world?
We should not fight a new technology simply because we do not know what it is. Technological myopia can render a church less relevant in the midst of changing times and seasons. We must have the wisdom to judge what we can leverage to build the kingdom and what we must stand against because it destroys the foundations of what we know as truth.

1 Chronicles 12:32 (KJV); And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their commandment.
The power to adapt to changing seasons and times will determine your relevance in the ages to come.
This relevance is revealed in our theme scripture. Because the children of Issachar had understanding of the times, they knew what Israel ought to do. As a result, all their brethren were at their commandment.
When you are adapted to a new age, you always have an answer to the questions of your generation.
Like the sons of Issachar, you lead and are not led; you participate and not merely observe; you employ and are not merely an employee; you shape and are not shaped; you think for and are not thought for.
Some people are planning for next year. They have annual, triennial or quinquennial development plans. But that is not sufficient.
Plan for the ages to come because that is what makes the difference. Plan for how the world will look in a new era because of the things that heaven will have made available for the sons of men. See the future, not simply through the lens of graphs and mathematical projections but the lens of the times and seasons of the Spirit and their respective provisions.

Le pouvoir de s’adapter aux saisons et aux temps changeants déterminera votre pertinence dans les âges à venir.
Cette pertinence est révélée dans notre écriture thématique. Parce que les enfants d’Issacar connaissaient les temps, ils savaient ce qu’Israël devait faire. En conséquence, tous leurs frères étaient à leur commandement.
Lorsque vous êtes adapté à un nouvel âge, vous avez toujours une réponse aux questions de votre génération.
Comme les fils d’Issacar, vous conduisez et n’êtes pas conduits ; vous participez et ne vous contentez pas d’observer ; vous employez et n’êtes pas simplement un employé ; vous façonnez et n’êtes pas façonné; vous pensez et n’êtes pas pensé.
Certaines personnes planifient pour l’année prochaine. Ils ont des plans de développement annuels, triennaux ou quinquennaux. Mais ce n’est pas suffisant.
Prévoyez pour les âges à venir car c’est ce qui fait la différence. Planifiez à quoi ressemblera le monde dans une nouvelle ère à cause des choses que le ciel aura mises à la disposition des fils des hommes. Voyez l’avenir, non seulement à travers le prisme de graphiques et de projections mathématiques, mais à travers le prisme des temps et des saisons de l’Esprit et de leurs dispositions respectives.

The Lord is a God of seasons and times. These seasons and times are always changing. These changes apply to many things including the innovations and inventions that we see on the world stage.
The Eastman Kodak Company was a giant in the era of analogue photography. However, it made staggering corporate blunders and missed opportunities in digital photography, a technology it invented. Nokia was the first to create a cellular network in the world. The company overestimated the strength of its brand and believed it could arrive late to the smartphone race and still win. In 2008, one year after the first iPhone release, Nokia finally decided to compete with Android, but it was too late.
In 2005, Yahoo was one of the leading players in the online advertising market. But it undervalued the importance of Search in favor of pursuing a presence in traditional media outlets.
The examples are endless: xerox and the PC market; Blockbuster and its fall to Netflix; IBM and its failure to adjust to the personal computer revolution.
Many of these companies did not adjust to changing seasons and times, and the technologies that brightened their stars in one age failed them in the subsequent ages.
Each age has its own provisions. When that age comes to an end, you must know how to transition to the next idea or innovation. You cannot get the ideas of an old age and think that heaven will provide for them in a new age or that humanity will align itself to your dream or vision when the times have changed. You must know how to adapt, mutate, evolve and change!

Matthew 7:6 (KJV); Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you
When you cast pearls to swine, they turn and rend you. It means that men can kill you because of the truth you speak.
While it is a noble thing to die in the defence of the truth and because of the truth, it is also important to exercise wisdom in delivering truth.
The Lord warns us not to cast pearls unto swine. You must weigh the hearts of the people to whom you minister or speak because not everyone is ready for what you have.
Jesus told his disciples, “I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.” (John 16:12).
In exercising this same wisdom, Paul said of Melchizedek, “Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing.” (Hebrews 5:11).
You must know when to hold back even if what you have to say will benefit your hearers. It’s ability to benefit them does not mean that they can receive it.

Mathayo 7:6 (KJV); Msiwape mbwa kilicho kitakatifu, wala msitupe lulu zenu kwa nguruwe, wasije wakazikanyaga chini ya miguu yao, wakageuka na kuwararua.
Unapowatupia nguruwe lulu, wao hugeuka na kukurarua. Ina maana kwamba watu wanaweza kukuua kwa sababu ya kweli unayosema.
Ingawa ni jambo la heshima kufa ukitetea kweli na kwa sababu ya kweli, ni muhimu pia kutumia hekima katika kuifikisha kweli.
Bwana anatuonya tusitupe lulu zetu kwa nguruwe. Ni lazima upime mioyo ya watu unaowahudumia au unaosema nao maana si kila mtu yuko tayari kwa ulichonacho.
Yesu aliwaambia wanafunzi wake, “Hata bado ningali ninayo na mengi ya kuwaambia, lakini hamwezi kuyastahimili hivi sasa. (Yohana 16:12).
Katika kutumia hekima hiyo hiyo, Paulo alisema hivi kumhusu Melkizedeki, “Ambaye tuna maneno mengi ya kunena katika habari zake, na ni shida kuyaeleza kwa kuwa mmekuwa wavivu wa kusikia.” (Waebrania 5:11).
Ni lazima ujue wakati wa kujizuia hata kama yale utakayosema yatawanufaisha wasikilizaji wako. Uwezo wake wa kuwanufaisha haimaanishi kwamba wanaweza kuipokea.

Matthieu 7:6 (NBS); Ne donnez pas ce qui est sacré aux chiens et ne jetez pas vos perles devant les cochons, de peur qu’ils ne les piétinent et ne se retournent contre vous pour vous lacérer.
Quand vous jetez des perles aux pourceaux, ils se retournent et vous rendent. Cela signifie que les hommes peuvent vous tuer à cause de la vérité que vous dites.
S’il est noble de mourir pour la défense de la vérité et à cause de la vérité, il est également important de faire preuve de sagesse en révélant la vérité.
Le Seigneur nous avertit de ne pas jeter de perles aux pourceaux. Vous devez peser le cœur des personnes à qui vous servez ou parlez parce que tout le monde n’est pas prêt pour ce que vous avez.
Jésus a dit à ses disciples : « J’ai encore beaucoup à vous dire, mais vous ne pouvez pas le porter maintenant. Jean 16:12 (NBS)
En exerçant cette même sagesse, Paul a dit à propos de Melchisédek : ” Dont nous avons beaucoup de choses à dire, et difficiles à dire, car vous êtes sourds “. (Hébreux 5:11).
Vous devez savoir quand vous retenir même si ce que vous avez à dire profitera à vos auditeurs. Sa capacité à leur être bénéfique ne signifie pas qu’ils peuvent le recevoir.

Matthew 20:8-13 (KJV); So when even was come, the lord of the vineyard saith unto his steward, Call the labourers, and give them their hire, beginning from the last unto the first. And when they came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny. But when the first came, they supposed that they should have received more; and they likewise received every man a penny. And when they had received it, they murmured against the goodman of the house, Saying, These last have wrought but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have borne the burden and heat of the day. But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny?
God does not reward men your way, His reward system is different from how the system of this world works.
Our theme scripture is a demonstration of this reality. The men who started to work in the Master’s vineyard earlier in the day grumbled at the fact that they were given the same pay as those who came much later.
Their mindset is reflected in the attitude of people who think that because they have been in ministry for thirty years then their ministries should be growing faster than the ministries of those who just started preaching the gospel three years ago.
It is seen in men and women at the workplace who whine about why a colleague who was hired yesterday has risen up the ranks faster than he who has been at that job for the past nine years.
God has made it abundantly clear that, “the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.” (Ecclesiastes 9:11).
The difference comes in how men deal with the realm of time and chance; experiences and opportunities. You may have lasted ten years at your workplace but with the kind of work ethic that makes opportunities sail right past you. You must learn how to spiritually, intellectually, psychologically and emotionally position yourself; to identify windows of opportunity and leverage the occasions that spell transformation in your life.

Basi wakiisha kuipokea, wakamnung’unikia mwenye nyumba, , Hao wa mwisho wametenda kazi saa moja tu, nawe umewasawazisha na sisi tuliostahimili taabu na hari za mchana kutwa. Naye akamjibu mmoja wao, akamwambia, Rafiki, sikudhulumu; hukupatana nami kwa dinari?
Mungu hawalipi wanadamu kwa njia yako, mfumo wake wa malipo ni tofauti na jinsi mfumo wa ulimwengu huu unavyofanya kazi.
Andiko letu kuu ni onyesho la kweli hii. Watu walioanza kufanya kazi katika shamba la mizabibu la Bwana mapema mchana walinung’unika kwa sababu walipewa malipo sawa na wale waliokuja baadaye sana.
Mawazo yao yanaonekana katika mtazamo wa watu wanaofikiri kwamba kwa sababu wamekuwa katika huduma kwa miaka thelathini basi huduma zao zinapaswa kukua kwa kasi zaidi kuliko huduma za wale ambao walianza kuhubiri injili miaka mitatu iliyopita.
Inaonekana kwa wanaume na wanawake mahali pa kazi ambao hulalamika kwa nini mwenzao aliyeajiriwa jana amepanda cheo kwa kasi zaidi kuliko yeye ambaye amekuwa kwenye kazi hiyo kwa miaka tisa iliyopita.
Mungu ameweka wazi sana kwamba, “Si wenye mbio washindao katika michezo, wala si walio hodari washindao vitani, wala si wenye hekima wapatao chakula, wala si watu wa ufahamu wapatao mali, wala wenye ustadi wapatao upendeleo; lakini wakati na bahati huwapata wote.” (Mhubiri 9:11).
Tofauti inakuja katika jinsi wanadamu wanavyoshughulika na ulimwengu wa wakati na bahati; uzoefu na fursa. Huenda umedumu kwa miaka kumi mahali pako pa kazi lakini kwa aina ya maadili ya kazi hufanya fursa zipite mbele yako. Lazima ujifunze jinsi ya kujiweka kiroho, kiakili, kisaikolojia na kihisia; kutambua madirisha ya fursa na kutumia matukio ambayo yanaleta mabadiliko katika maisha yako.

Les premiers vinrent ensuite, pensant recevoir davantage, mais ils reçurent, eux aussi, chacun un denier. En le recevant, ils se mirent à maugréer contre le maître de maison et dirent : « Ces derniers venus n’ont fait qu’une heure, et tu les traites à l’égal de nous, qui avons supporté le poids du jour et la chaleur ! » Il répondit à l’un d’eux : « Mon ami, je ne te fais pas de tort ; ne t’es-tu pas mis d’accord avec moi pour un denier ?
Dieu ne récompense pas les hommes à votre façon, Son système de récompense est différent de la façon dont fonctionne le système de ce monde.
Notre écriture thématique est une démonstration de cette réalité. Les hommes qui ont commencé à travailler dans la vigne du Maître plus tôt dans la journée se sont plaints du fait qu’ils recevaient le même salaire que ceux qui sont venus beaucoup plus tard.
Leur état d’esprit se reflète dans l’attitude des gens qui pensent que parce qu’ils sont dans le ministère depuis trente ans, alors leurs ministères devraient croître plus rapidement que les ministères de ceux qui viennent de commencer à prêcher l’évangile il y a trois ans.
Dieu a dit très clairement que « la course n’appartient pas aux rapides, ni la guerre aux vaillants, ni le pain aux sages, ni la richesse aux intelligents, ni la faveur à ceux qui savent, car tous sont à la merci des temps et des circonstances. Ecclésiaste 9:11 NBS
La différence réside dans la manière dont les hommes traitent le domaine du temps et du hasard ; expériences et opportunités. Vous avez peut-être duré dix ans sur votre lieu de travail, mais avec le genre d’éthique de travail qui fait que les opportunités passent devant vous. Vous devez apprendre à vous positionner spirituellement, intellectuellement, psychologiquement et émotionnellement ; pour identifier les fenêtres d’opportunité et tirer parti des occasions qui transforment votre vie.

1 Kings 17:10-12 (KJV); So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, behold, the widow woman was there gathering of sticks: and he called to her, and said, Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water in a vessel, that I may drink. And as she was going to fetch it, he called to her, and said, Bring me, I pray thee, a morsel of bread in thine hand. And she said, As the Lord thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die.It is very tempting and reasonable to hold onto the little you have because it is all that is left to survive on.
But that is not how God works. He demonstrates this through the story of Elijah and the wisdom in our theme scripture.
A casual observer would have marvelled at the callousness of the prophet who sought to deprive the widow of her little oil and morsel of bread. In our day, they would have lumped him up with all the thieves and robbers that seek to ravage unsuspecting Christians.
But here is a fundamental lesson: If God ever provokes you to give more than you are able, then understand that He is positioning you for what you can never obtain through your own ability.
While it is true that this scripture has been abused and misused by some ministers of the gospel to manipulate their followers, it does not detract from the principle herein.
When God asks you to give the only ‘oil or bread’ you have, do not ask how you will survive the next day. He has said “do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things” (Matthew 6:34).
Always remember that what may not be enough can instead be a seed.

Inashawishi sana na ni busara kushikilia kidogo ulichonacho kwa sababu ndicho pekee kilichosalia ili kuendelea kuishi.
Lakini hivyo sivyo Mungu hufanya kazi. Anadhihirisha hili kupitia hadithi ya Eliya na hekima katika andiko letu kuu.
Mtazamaji wa kawaida angestaajabishwa na ukaidi wa nabii aliyetaka kumnyima mjane mafuta yake na kipande cha mkate. Katika siku zetu, wangemhusisha na wezi na wanyang’anyi wote wanaotaka kuwaangamiza Wakristo wasio na hatia.
Lakini hapa kuna somo la msingi: Ikiwa Mungu amewahi kukuchochea utoe zaidi ya uwezo wako, basi elewa kwamba anakuweka katika nafasi kwa ajili ya kile ambacho huwezi kamwe kupata kupitia uwezo wako mwenyewe.
Ingawa ni kweli kwamba andiko hili limetumiwa vibaya na baadhi ya watumishi wa injili ili kuwahadaa wafuasi wao, haliondoi kanuni iliyo hapa.
Mungu anapokuuliza utoe ‘mafuta au mkate’ pekee ulionao, usiulize utaishije siku inayofuata. Alisema “msihangaike juu ya kesho, kwa maana kesho itajisumbukia yenyewe” (Mathayo 6:34).
Daima kumbuka kuwa kile ambacho kinaweza kisitoshe badala yake kinaweza kuwa mbegu.

Hij riep tot haar en zei: Haal toch een beetje water voor mij in deze kruik, zodat ik kan drinken . Toen zij op weg ging om het te halen, riep hij haar na en zei: Breng toch ook een stuk brood voor mij mee. Maar zij zei: Zo waar de HEERE, uw God, leeft! Ik heb geen broodkoek meer, behalve een handvol meel in de pot en een beetje olie in de kruik! En zie, ik ben een paar stukken hout aan het sprokkelen. Zodra ik thuis kom, ga ik het voor mij en voor mijn zoon klaarmaken. Daarna zullen we het opeten en sterven.
Het is erg verleidelijk en redelijk om vast te houden aan het weinige dat je hebt, want dat is alles wat er nog over is om van te overleven.
Maar dat is niet hoe God werkt. Hij demonstreert dit door het verhaal van Elia en de wijsheid in onze thematekst.
Een terloopse toeschouwer zou zich hebben verbaasd over de ongevoeligheid van de profeet die probeerde de weduwe haar kleine olie en stukje brood te ontnemen. In onze tijd zouden ze hem op één hoop hebben gegooid met alle dieven en rovers die nietsvermoedende christenen teisteren.
Maar hier is een fundamentele les: als God je ooit provoceert om meer te geven dan je kunt, begrijp dan dat Hij je positioneert voor wat je nooit kunt krijgen door je eigen vermogen.
Hoewel het waar is dat deze tekst is misbruikt door sommige dienaren van het evangelie om hun volgelingen te manipuleren, doet dit niets af aan het principe hierin.
Als God je vraagt om de enige ‘olie of brood’ die je hebt te geven, vraag dan niet hoe je de volgende dag zult overleven. Hij heeft gezegd: “Maak je geen zorgen over morgen, want morgen zal zich zorgen maken over zijn eigen dingen” (Matteüs 6:34).
Onthoud altijd dat wat misschien niet genoeg is, eventueel (in plaats daarvan) een zaadje kan zijn.

1 Kings 17:5-7 (KJV); So he went and did according unto the word of the Lord: for he went and dwelt by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan. And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the evening; and he drank of the brook. And it came to pass after a while, that the brook dried up, because there had been no rain in the land.
God instructed Elijah to go to the brook Cherith. But a time came when the brook dried up.
This is an example of a man in the perfect will of God experiencing an end to godly provision.
His situation is similar to that of many Christians today. You might be in the perfect will of God but the brook to which the Lord sent you has dried. How do you respond?
The Bible does not say that the ravens ceased to bring him flesh and bread, only that the brook dried. Some people may continue to live at the brook, depending on only the provisions of the ravens without water until they realise that their bodies cannot live without water.
Others might doubt the will of God in sending them to Cherith because they do not understand how His provisions can dry up.
If I translate this into day to day life, I would ask; what do you do when you receive that letter from the management of your company telling you that they are laying off the majority of the task force, you inclusive? What do you do when the individual who was sponsoring your studies is suddenly incapacitated and cannot do so anymore?
Some people are destroyed whenever a door closes because they do not know how to look to God.
Understand that the Lord is a God of seasons and times. You must have the wisdom to discern that a season has ended and a new season is coming your way. Sometimes, brooks must dry for you to be elevated to your next level. For every brook that dries, there is another way God has planned to provide for you.

Biblia haisemi kwamba kunguru waliacha kumletea nyama na mkate, ila tu kijito kilikauka. Watu wengine wanaweza kuendelea kuishi kwenye kijito hicho, wakitegemea tu riziki za kunguru bila maji hadi watambue kwamba miili yao haiwezi kuishi bila maji.
Wengine wanaweza kutilia shaka mapenzi ya Mungu katika kuwatuma Kerithi kwa sababu hawaelewi jinsi riziki Zake zinaweza kukauka.
Ikiwa nitaitafsiri hii katika maisha ya kila siku, ningeuliza; unafanya nini unapopokea barua ile kutoka kwa uongozi wa kampuni yako wakikuambia kuwa wanawafuta kazi idadi kubwa ya kikosi kazi, na wewe ukiwa ni miongoni mwao? Unafanya nini wakati mtu ambaye alikuwa akifadhili masomo yako ghafla anashindwa na hawezi kufanya hivyo tena?
Watu wengine huharibiwa kila mlango unapofungwa kwa sababu hawajui jinsi ya kumwangalia Mungu.
Fahamu kuwa Bwana ni Mungu wa majira na nyakati. Lazima uwe na hekima ya kutambua kwamba msimu umeisha na msimu mpya unakuja kwako. Wakati mwingine, vijito lazima vikauke ili uweze kuinuliwa hadi ngazi yako inayofuata. Kwa kila kijito kinachokauka, kuna njia nyingine ambayo Mungu amepanga kukupatia mahitaji yako.

QUAND LES RUISSEAU S’ASSÈCHENT

1 Rois 17:5-7 (NBS); Il partit et agit selon la parole du Seigneur ; il alla s’installer près de l’oued Kerith, qui est en face du Jourdain. Les corbeaux lui apportaient du pain et de la viande le matin, du pain et de la viande le soir, et il buvait à l’oued. Mais après quelque temps, l’oued fut à sec, car il n’y avait pas eu de pluie dans le pays.
Dieu ordonna à Élie d’aller au ruisseau de Kerith. Mais un moment est venu où le ruisseau s’est asséché.
Ceci est un exemple d’un homme dans la volonté parfaite de Dieu qui vit la fin de la provision divine.
Sa situation est similaire à celle de beaucoup de chrétiens aujourd’hui. Vous pourriez être dans la volonté parfaite de Dieu, mais le ruisseau vers lequel le Seigneur vous a envoyé s’est asséché. Comment répondez-vous ?
La Bible ne dit pas que les corbeaux ont cessé de lui apporter de la chair et du pain, seulement que le ruisseau a séché. Certaines personnes peuvent continuer à vivre au ruisseau, ne dépendant que des provisions des corbeaux sans eau jusqu’à ce qu’elles se rendent compte que leur corps ne peut pas vivre sans eau.
D’autres pourraient douter de la volonté de Dieu en les envoyant à Kerith parce qu’ils ne comprennent pas comment ses provisions peuvent se tarir.
Si je traduis cela dans la vie de tous les jours, je demanderais; que faites-vous lorsque vous recevez cette lettre de la direction de votre entreprise vous informant qu’elle licencie la majorité du groupe de travail, vous compris ? Que faites-vous lorsque la personne qui parrainait vos études est soudainement frappée d’incapacité et ne peut plus le faire ?
Certaines personnes sont détruites chaque fois qu’une porte se ferme parce qu’elles ne savent pas comment se tourner vers Dieu.
Comprenez que le Seigneur est un Dieu des saisons et des temps. Vous devez avoir la sagesse de discerner qu’une saison est terminée et qu’une nouvelle saison arrive. Parfois, les ruisseaux doivent s’assécher pour que vous passiez au niveau supérieur. Pour chaque ruisseau qui s’assèche, il y a un autre moyen que Dieu a prévu de vous fournir.
