Apostle Grace Lubega
Romans 1:9(KJV); For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers;
One of the marks of maturity for any child of God is a ruled spirit.
In Proverbs 25:28, the Bible says, “He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.”
Paul, through our theme scripture teaches us that we serve God with our spirits.
What this means is that you cannot serve God effectively unless you have a ruled or controlled spirit.
It is the ruled spirit that pushes you to exercise discipline in all spiritual matters.
It is the ruled spirit that allows you to withstand all manner of persecution and malicious mud-slinging without becoming like your accusers in attitude and response.
You must remember that in your service to God, you will be tried and tested in all manner of ways, if your spirit is ruled, you will always stand.

GOLDEN NUGGET: In your service to God, you will be tried and tested in all manner of ways, if your spirit is ruled, you will always stand.
PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this word. Thank You for teaching me what it means to have a ruled and controlled spirit. You have tamed me in all the things that matter. My attitude and response to God will always be out of the convictions of the Greater One who lives in me, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
