Psalm 37:4 (KJV); Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
The Hebrew word for delight, used in our theme scripture is, ‘anag.’ This word is translated to mean, to be soft, delicate and pliable.
A man who delights in God is one whom God can bend and twist to His will and purposes because that man is receptive to God as He leads him.
Every Christian ought to ask themselves the question, “how flexible am I to God?”
If God told you to abandon a course of action that you have undertaken for the past ten years, would you, especially if it is very profitable in your eyes? If God told you to walk away from a relationship you have clung to for a long time, would you?
As a minister of the gospel, if God asked you to preach in the hardest to reach areas with no lights and cameras to witness your sacrifice, would you?
If God asked you to give to the man who has been blackening your reputation in the media and pray for him like you would for someone you love deeply, would you?
God is searching for the heart that answers His call with diligence, for a will that bends to Him with no reservations and for a mind that responds with no attempt at rationalising God’s intentions.

Omuntu orikushemerererwa omuri Ruhanga n’ogwo ou Ruhanga arikuhenda kandi akamuhindurira omu kukunda kwe n’ebigyenderwa bye ahabw’okuba omuntu ogwo nayorobera Ruhanga yaaba arikumwebembera.
Buri Mukristaayo ashemereire kwebuuza ekibuuzo ati, “nyorobi nta ahari Ruhanga?”

Zaburi 37:4 (KJV); Nawe utajifurahisha kwa BWANA, Naye atakupa haja za moyo wako.
Neno la kiebrania la furaha, lililotumika katika andiko letu kuu ni ‘anag’. Neno hili limetafsiriwa kumaanisha kuwa laini, maridadi na inayoweza kubadilika.
Mtu ambaye hujifurahisha ndani ya Mungu ni yule ambaye Mungu anaweza kumpinda kulingana na matakwa na kusudio lake kwa sababu mtu huyo ni mpokevu kwa Mungu huku akiongozwa naye.
Kila mkristo anapaswa kujuiliza swali, “naweza kupindwa kiasi gani na Mungu?”
Ikiwa Mungu angekuambia uache hatua ambayo umekuwa ukichukua kwa miaka kumi, je ungeiacha hasa pale inapoonekana kuwa na faida mbele yako? Ikiwa Mungu angekuambia utoke kwenye mahusiano ambayo umenga’nga’nia kwa muda mrefu, ungekubali?
Kama mtumishi wa Injili, ikiwa Mungu angekuambia uhubiri katika maeneo duni zaidi yaliyo bila taa na camera ili ashuhudie sadaka yako ungeweza?
Ikiwa Mungu angekuambia umsaidie mtu ambaye amekua akichafua jina lako kwenye vyombo vya habari na kumombea kama unavyoombea wapendwa wako, ungeweza?
Mungu anatafuta moyo ambao unajibu wito wake kwa bidii, nia inayopinda kwake bila kinyongo na uelewa unaokubali wito wake bila kukusudia kuhalalisha makusudio ya Mungu.

UJUMBE MKUU: Mungu anatafuta moyo ambao unajibu wito wake kwa bidii, nia inayopinda kwake bila kinyongo na uelewa unaokubali wito wake bila kukusudia kuhalalisha makusudio ya Mungu.
SALA: Baba Yangu, Nakushukuru kwa kweli hii. Moyo wangu unapata kiu cha kutaka kuwa na wewe. Natembea kwenye kusudio lako kamili kwa sababu nipo tayari na nina uwezo wa kunyumbulika. As new creatures in Christ, the Lord wants us to live on our altars of sacrifice. This is why our theme scripture speaks of us presenting our bodies as living sacrifices.
There are some Christians who believe that the prosperity of a believer is a sign of a corrupt spirit. These quote the Bible in Proverbs 30:9 which says, “Lest I be full, and deny thee, and say, Who is the LORD? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God in vain.”
As Christians, the kind of life we have been called to is one of a perpetual life of faith. Faith must be a lifestyle for the believer and not just a doctrine we refer to in the midst of trials. It is by faith that we please God, meaning that a lifestyle of faith is one that is constantly pleasing to God.
The Word of God is the foundation of the liberties that we have in God. In James 1:25, it is referred to as the perfect law of liberty.
Our theme scripture gives us a glimpse into the life of Anna the Prophetess. The Bible says that she spent her days in the temple and served God with fastings and prayers, night and day.
Greatness is not birthed out of the most obvious places or people.
God cannot expand your territory if you do not have the vision to properly use it.
God has never created a demand upon your life without an equal measure of potential in you.
As a child of God, you have territory, both physical and spiritual, that God has defined as part of your inheritance.
Potential is a word that is bandied about in success circles.
God is vast and infinite in His vastness.
