The Believer

The Believer

Apostle Grace Lubega

2 Peter 1:3(KJV); According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

Everything you ever needed in this life has already been given to you. A believer is not one who is ‘believing God.’

Faith is not believing that God is going to do something for you. It is believing that He has done it for you.

The reason why some people do not get results from God is because they make the attainment of biblical promises a future experience.

They are believing God for a car, marriage and children. Their faith is in the future, yet the scriptures are clear that faith is a now issue.

Like our theme scripture explains, YOU HAVE BEEN GIVEN everything that pertains to life and godliness. If you have been given, then you ought not to be believing.

Faith does not bring the promises of God from the future and place them in the present. Faith reveals to you that it is already done. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Hebrews 11:1, Romans 4:20

GOLDEN NUGGET:
Faith is not believing that God is going to do something for you. It is believing that He has done it for you.

PRAYER: Father, I am thankful for this knowledge that defines how I believe. I understand the finished work and this defines my way of prayer and the pattern of my faith. All I need has been given. My life is an overflow of thanksgiving because I have all that I will ever need. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

The Quickened Life

The Quickened Life

Apostle Grace Lubega

Psalms 90:14(KJV); O satisfy us early with thy mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.

Delay is a spirit. There are Christians who when the manifestation of the promises of God in their lives delays, always assume that it is God who is the cause of this delay because he intends to fulfill these promises “in his time.”

The spirit of delay ought never to be confused with God’s timing.

Like our theme scripture reveals, we ought to be satisfied while it is still early that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.

It is part of the joy of salvation for a believer to see God early. It is not God’s intention that you do in twenty years what you should have done in two years.

God does not want to give you a husband when you are old and grey. He does not want to give you a car at ninety when you can no longer drive it. That is not God.

As a child of God, you can have what you need, when you need it and in the way you need it. Launch into that liberty of the Spirit. It is your portion in Christ. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Daniel 10:1-4, John 6:63

GOLDEN NUGGET

As a child of God, you can have what you need, when you need it and in the way you need it. God has called you to that liberty of the Spirit.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for the quickening of your Spirit. Your Word gives life and propels me faster into the manifestation of your promises. I can never be delayed because my nature is of a quickening Spirit. I have what I want, when I want it and in the way I want it because that is my liberty in Christ. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

The Word Is Timeless

The Word Is Timeless

Apostle Grace Lubega

Psalms119:89 (NIV); Your word, Lord is eternal; it stands firm in the heavens.

The Word of God is not designed to function according to the times of the earth but according to the times of heaven.

Just because the Bible has events that happened within the earthly time dispensation does not mean that the Word of God is not eternal.

This understanding ought to define your study of the Word. The Word may say, ‘In the years to come, God will reveal His mercy…’

One man will read this and understand that in the years to come, God will help him. But another will look at the same scripture and understand it with the mind of ‘now faith…’

When you understand the timelessness and eternal nature of the Word, the fullness of scripture ceases to be a future experience. Get into the Word and own its experiences in ‘now faith’.

FURTHER STUDY: 1 Peter 1:25, Matthew 24:35

GOLDEN NUGGET:
Get into the Word and own its experiences in ‘now faith’.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for this wisdom. I understand how the Word functions. I do not extend the manifestation of its experiences to the future but know that by faith, they are now. These experiences define my message and ministry in the earth. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

The God Perspective of Time

The God Perspective of Time

Apostle Grace Lubega

Ecclesiastes 3:11 (KJV); He hath made everything beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.

Our theme scripture speaks of God beautifying things in “His time.” However, God understands time differently from the way men on the earth do. Time to the human is in series: past, present and future.

You are either living in the now moment, in the yesterday moment or in the future moment.

Because many people fit their moments of time in series, they assume that God is also subject to time series.

However, time in eternity are experiences. Every time you have an experience in the spirit, you have attained a certain place and that place is translated as time.

This is why Christianity is a life of experiences. Live a life of constant expectation, do not ignore the slightest impressions of the spirit.

FURTHER STUDY: Colossians 4:5, Acts 17:30-31

GOLDEN NUGGET:
Time in eternity equals to experiences.

PRAYER: My God, you have made me an eternal being who is not subject to the dictates of earthly time. The true understanding of my nature launches me in experiences of eternity because those inform my knowledge of time. This understanding teaches me to redeem and number my days. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Of Learned Men

Of Learned Men

Apostle Grace Lubega

Isaiah 50:4(KJV); The Lord God hath given me the tongue of the learned that, I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned.

There is a difference between learning men and learned men. A learning man may know the “what” of scripture but the learned man knows the “hows” of scripture.

Our theme scripture qualifies this learned man as one who knows “how” to speak a word in season to him that is weary.

He not only knows what to speak but he knows how to speak what to speak in season to him that is weary.

It is one thing to know the many principles that account for Christian growth and maturity, it is another to know how these principles ought to be applied. A learned man always knows the hows.

However, the knowledge of the “hows” is not simply in the knowledge of method.

Knowing how means that you have the mind of God in the application of these principles.

As a learned man, you always apply the scriptures with the absolute understanding and revelation of the mind of God. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: 1 Corinthians 2:16, Proverbs 14:8

GOLDEN NUGGET:
As a learned man, you always apply the scriptures with the absolute understanding and revelation of the mind of God.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you because I am learned. In everything that I do, I have a full understanding of your mind, intention and purpose. Every step I take reflects the wisdom of one who knows God in truth and in depth. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Wisdom in Inquiry

Wisdom in Inquiry

Apostle Grace Lubega

John 21:20-22 (KJV); Then Peter, turning about, seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved following; which also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, Lord, which is he that betrayeth thee? Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do? Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? Follow thou me.

There are things in this life of the gospel that God does not expect us to inquire about, not because they are wrong in themselves but because they are not important for your purpose and course in life.

Understand that even though the scriptures speak of inquiring in the temple of God( Psalms 27:4), there are questions that are in the perfect will of God for your life and questions that are not.

Like the Apostle Paul says, there are things in the scriptures that are lawful yet do not edify (1 Corinthians 10:23). This was not with respect to actions only, but even the questions with which we go to the presence of God.

Christ made this point when in our theme scripture He asked Peter, “If he will tarry till I come, what is that to thee?”

The message in Christ’s question is to the effect that each one of us should be more mindful of our own course, race and fight. That should be your priority.

Like Paul at the end of his days, you should be able to say, “…I have finished my course…” (2 Timothy 4:7).

It is eternal life to know God and his son Jesus(John 17:3); eternity is worth investing in.

But that life is too precious for you to invest in it without a certain wisdom.

The absence of wisdom lies in the fact that there are certain things we might inquire of the Lord out of curiosity although they are not expedient for the life of the Christian.

Let your place of inquiry in His temple be defined by the things that align you to purpose and destiny.

FURTHER STUDY: 1 Corinthians 10:23, 2 Timothy 4:7

GOLDEN NUGGET:
Let your place of inquiry in His temple be defined by the things that align you to purpose and destiny.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for this precious knowledge that gives me direction on how to inquire in your presence. I seek you for that which places me in the center of your perfect will. I know that by this wisdom, I will finish well. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

You are Glorified

You are Glorified

Apostle Grace Lubega

Romans 8:30 (KJV); Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

When God predestinated you, He called you, when He called you, He justified you, when He justified you, He glorified you.

The glory of God is upon your life, thoughts, ministry and family.

He that is joined with the Lord is one Spirit with Him (1 Corinthians 6:17).

God could not allow that union of your spirit with His if you were not glorified.

Jesus said, “The glory which you gave me, I have given them; that they may be one even as we are one” (John 17:22).

Your spirit could only be united to God because you were elevated to the level of the glory of the Christ.

The atmosphere that He carried was released in your spirit. Jesus lives and works in you. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: 1 John 4:17, 2 Corinthians 3:18

GOLDEN NUGGET:
You have the glory of Christ. Jesus lives and works in you.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for the operation of your glory in my life. I thank you that because I share the glory of the Christ, whatsoever He can do, I can do. For as He is, so am I in this world. He is far above all principalities and dominions, so am I. When the enemy sees me, he sees Christ. That is the testimony of my continuous victory in this world. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Keeping Your Spirit Healthy

Keeping Your Spirit Healthy

Apostle Grace Lubega

Proverbs 18:14(MSG), A healthy spirit conquers adversity, but what can you do when the spirit is crushed?

The winds of adversity may blast through your life and threaten to shake the strength of your spiritual convictions. The Bible has called such an eventuality an evil day(Ephesians 6:13).

When this day comes, it is of utmost importance that you “keep your spirit healthy.”

Your spirit is a strong fortress, eternally designed to withstand the strongest tempest, the wildest and most vicious attacks of the enemy.

“Keeping your spirit healthy” is the adamant refusal to be shaken by the raging storms of affliction. It is holding onto the Word of God with the strong grasp of courage regardless of how tough circumstances might be. It is looking into the eye of the storm and saying, “Do your worst and I will do mine.”

On the other hand, the crushed spirit is of one who has succumbed to the enemy’s “empty brand of intimidation.” It has sank under the weight of sorrows, deactivated its victory gears and entered into victim mode.

I have seen many desperate Christians crushed in spirit, move from church to church in hope of deliverance. They have paid homage to all categories of anointed hands but alas, they have found no rescue.

Keep your spirit healthy. How so? Purpose to always be happy and in rest. Stir yourself to joy even when you don’t feel it.
Wisdom in Proverbs 15:13 teaches her children that by the sorrow of the heart, the spirit is broken.

With joy dance to the rhythms of the Word in your heart.

FURTHER STUDY: Proverbs 15:15, Proverbs 17:22

GOLDEN NUGGET:
Keep your spirit healthy. How so? Purpose to always be happy and in rest. Stir yourself to joy even when you don’t feel it.

PRAYER: My God, I thank you for the joy of salvation. You have purposed that it continuously increases in my life. This joy is my strength and by it, I have a merry heart. My life is a continual feast of increase, multiplication, favour, wisdom and expansion. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Be Your Primary Prophet By The Word

Be Your Primary Prophet By The Word

Apostle Grace Lubega

2 Peter 1:19(KJV); We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts.

Revelation is sometimes quicker than prophecy. While prophecy may sometimes be subject to the limitations of time periods on the earth, revelation is timeless.

A prophetic word may come to you to the effect that in about three months, you will be owning a certain portion of money or be positioned in a certain place of honour.

Truly, three months later, you may find yourself in that position and thank God for prophecy. Revelation, on the other hand, could instantly drive you to an answer the moment it comes to your spirit.  Any time your eyes are opened, your ears hear and your heart is converted, manifestation of what you seek comes (Matt 13:15).

That is what makes the Bible the “more sure” word of prophesy. The Greek word used for “more sure” is “babaios” that is also translated to mean fast. By the Spirit of revelation, which opens to you the realities of God’s Word, you are quickened into the manifestation of divine promises.

Be the primary prophet of your life; seek to understand the Word and speak it over your life, create your world through faith. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Deuteronomy 29:29, John 6:63

GOLDEN NUGGET: Be the primary prophet of your life; seek to understand the Word and speak it over your life, create your world through faith.

PRAYER: Father, your Word defines the direction of my life. I study, meditate and act on it every day. I am quickened in every area of my life because my future is dependent on it. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

At Your Word

At Your Word
  • Apostle Grace Lubega

1 Kings 17:1(KJV); And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the Lord God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.

When Elijah declared drought in Israel, he did not say, ‘thus says the Lord’ or ‘according to the word of God.’ He said, ‘according to my word.’

He understood his authority by virtue of the relationship he had with God.

God has given you the divine authority to change any circumstance and that power lies in your tongue, in the word of your mouth.

You stand before God and know who you are. You have the power to decree a thing and it be established (Job 22:28).

God greatly honored Elijah’s word and said unto him; “Get thee hence, and turn thee eastward, and hide thyself by the brook Cherith that is before Jordan. And it shall be, that thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there.”(1 Kings 17:3-4).

After Elijah decreed a drought, God Himself sustained him.

This means that God will do everything to make you thrive under the power of your confessions. Boldly speak what you must see in your life and the world around you. God will see to it that you are not ashamed. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Proverbs 18:21, Job 22:28

    GOLDEN NUGGET:
Boldly speak what you must see in your life and the world around you. God will see to it that you are not ashamed.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for this authority you have given me. I determine the direction of my life, my nation, my continent and my world because you have given me the ability to. I decree increase, success and progress. Whatever I declare comes to pass because you will not suffer my words to fall to the ground. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Amen.

You Define your Season

You Define your Season

Apostle Grace Lubega

Psalms 92:13(KJV); Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God.

When you are truly planted in the presence of God, you have the grace to define your seasons.

You are akin to a tree by the rivers of water that brings forth his fruit in his season (Psalms 1:3).

The language of the scriptures is “his season.” It means that the seasons of the earth do not dictate your seasons.

The roots of a planted man are not sustained by the waters of the earth but the waters of the Spirit.

These waters are ever flowing rivers that never run dry.

When the waters of the earth dry out, you will still continue to function.

It means that when men are cast down, you will declare that there is a lifting up(Job 22:29): when the economy is struggling, you will thrive financially; when people are being denied jobs, favor will give you that which other men have been deprived of; when things are failing for the men of this world, your testimony will be of only increase. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Psalms 1:3, Job 22:29

GOLDEN NUGGET:
When you are truly planted in the presence of God, you have the grace to define your seasons.

PRAYER: Father, I know that I am planted by you. I flourish in your courts in all seasons. Regardless of what happens in the world around me, I progress because I am sustained by the Spirit and not the works and abilities of men or the elements of this world. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

When Planted In His Presence

When Planted In His Presence

Apostle Grace Lubega

Psalms 92:13(KJV); Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God.

We are the planting of the Lord and His presence is the ground in which we flourish.

When you are truly planted in the house of God, nothing can uproot you from the presence of the Lord.

Regardless of the circumstances in your life, you will still seek God: you will pray when you are happy; you will pray when you feel sad; you will pray when you have all that you need, you will pray if you lose it all; you will pray even when your heart condemns you because you have understood that your God is bigger than your heart.

Nothing withers in the presence of God. It might seem like your situation is beyond hope but stay planted. You might feel like you do not deserve His grace because of any personal weaknesses in your life but stay planted.

You will always flourish. What looks dead will always find life. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Isaiah 61:3, Psalms 27:4

GOLDEN NUGGET:
We are the planting of the Lord and His presence is the ground in which we flourish.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for the precious privilege of your presence. Thank you for the access you have granted me. Your presence can do anything: it restores, it rejuvenates, it strengthens, it resuscitates, it illuminates, it preserves. I live with the greatest conviction that absolutely nothing can move me out of it. The grace that causes me to abide increases every day. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
