The Miracle Of Epignosis
The Phaneroo Devotion: The Miracle Of Epignosis
Apostle Grace Lubega
Ephesians 1:17 (KJV); That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
The Greek word used for knowledge in our theme scripture is ‘epignosis’. This is the complete and perfect knowledge of God, as distinguished from ‘gnosko’, which is progressive knowledge.
Epignosis does not come by one reading the Bible several times from cover to cover. There are people who have done this and have combed every precept yet many truths are still hidden from their eyes. They do not know God, but only know about Him.
Epignosis is an experience. It is one in which God impresses the revelation of Christ upon your spirit.
What I mean is that Christ is not revealed to us merely through much study with our minds, He is revealed when the Holy Spirit opens our eyes to the spiritual realities of Christ.
Epignosis is very important because no miracle can sustain a man in faith, like the miracle of epignosis.
Men may see blind men see and still doubt; they may watch the lame walk and still have questions; they may see the dead raised to life and still have reservations but when Christ is revealed to a man, he will stay his course, fight the good fight and run his race.
Hallelujah!
FURTHER STUDY: Ephesians 3:9, 1 John 1:1
GOLDEN NUGGET: No miracle can sustain a man in faith, like the miracle of epignosis. Men may see blind men see and still doubt; they may watch the lame walk and still have questions; they may see the dead raised to life and still have reservations but when Christ is revealed to a man, he will stay his course, fight the good fight and run his race.
PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this truth. Thank You for the opportunity to know You and increase in the knowledge of who You are. The eyes of my understanding are continually flooded with light even as I behold You in Your perfection, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

MUUJIZA WA EPIGNOSIS
Mtume Grace Lubega
Waefeso 1:17 (KJV); Mungu wa Bwana wetu Yesu Kristo, Baba wa utukufu, awape ninyi roho ya hekima na ya ufunuo katika kumjua yeye;
Haleluya!
MASOMO YA ZIADA: Waefeso 3:9, 1 Yohana 1:1

We do not live by a few favourable words but we live by EVERY word that proceeds from the mouth of God.
Many Christians have often been ridiculed for giving so much to the Church of Christ and ‘fattening’ the purses of ‘pretentious, manipulative smart mouths masquerading as preachers of the gospel’ yet there are so many poor homeless people in the world who need that money more than those ‘men of God.’
In our theme scripture, the master trusted his servants with pounds. One multiplied the pound to become ten pounds, the other to five pounds and the other did not multiply his at all. When it came to the moment of reward, the master did not give the faithful servants more pounds, he gave them cities.
When we think of the great men in Church history, men like William Seymour and the Asuza Street Revival, Alexander Dowie and his work in Zion Illinois, what is remembered most is not how big their church buildings were or how many material possessions they had.
Many people in this world are slaves to pleasure. For pleasure, they have broken their marriages, destroyed their careers and abandoned the work of the gospel.
There are people who assume that they can give God anything until they are placed in the fiery furnace of sacrifice and have to make the choice between giving up their greatest attachments in obedience to God or disobeying Him.
While the powers of darkness schemed against Christ, assuming that they would end Him by means of death, they did not know that it was an infallible spiritual fact that it was not possible that He could be held by death.
The resurrection of Christ is what makes the Christian faith unique.
When many believers think of faithfulness, they do so in terms of tasks they have been assigned or physical things that have been placed under their care. Not many think of it in terms of people.
