1 Timothy 2: 1-4 (KJV); I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
In the Old Testament dispensation, sin was the major concern in the relationship between man and God.
It is why in scriptures such as Isaiah 1:18, the conversation is that though the man’s sins be as scarlet, they will be as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
The New Testament changed the conversation. In John 1:29, John the Baptist says of Christ, “Behold the lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.”
So then, you must ask yourself, did Christ accomplish the task that John the Baptist speaks of? Did He indeed take away the sin of the world?
The answer to us who believe is that YES, indeed He took away the sin of the world.
That is why in the New Testament, the most important thing between God and man is the assignment of preaching the gospel to the ends of the earth. Sin becomes a lighter issue because we are empowered to defeat and stand against it through His blood and the relentless work of grace.
As our theme scripture says, it is His will that all men be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. This is heaven’s agenda!
With this consciousness, we do not make sin the centre of our communion. Our spirits are tuned to hearing greater instructions: His plans for our nations; His next move in our continents; His purpose for our political, economic and social environments.

PRAYER: My Lord, I thank You for this knowledge. I know that You became sin that I may become the righteousness of God. I do not live my life under sin consciousness but by purpose consciousness because I understand what You have done in me. I know Your desires and my heart beats after Your plans, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Y’ensonga lwaki mu byawandiikibwa nga Isaaya 1:18, okwogerezeganya kuli nti newankubadde ng’ebibi by’omuntu biri ng’olugoye olumyufu, binaaba byeru ng’omuzira; ne bwe bitwakaala ng’ebbendera, binaaba ng’ebyoya by’endiga.
Endagaano Empya yakyusa eky’okwogerako. Mu Yokaana 1:29, Yokaana omubatiza ayogera ku Kristo nti, “Laba, Omwana gw’endiga gwa Katonda, aggyawo ebibi by’ensi.”
N’olwekyo, olina okwebuuza, Kristo yamaliriza bulungi omulimu Yokaana omubatiza gwayogerako? Yaggyawo ddala ekibi ky’ensi?
Ekyokuddamu eri ffe abakkiriza kiri nti ye, ddala ddala Yaggyawo ekibi ky’ensi.
Y’ensonga lwaki, mu ndagaano empya, ensonga esinga obukulu wakati wa Katonda n’omuntu gwe mulimu ogw’okubuulira enjiri okutuuka ku nkomerero z’ensi. Ekibi kifuuka nsonga nnafu kubanga tuweereddwa amaanyi okuyimirira n’okukiwangula okuyita mu musaayi Gwe n’omulimu gw’ekisa ogutakoma.
Ng’ekyawandiikibwa kyaffe ekigguddewo bwe kigamba, kwagala kwe nti
abantu bonna balokoke, era batuuke mu kutegeerera ddala amazima. Guno gwe mulamwa ogw’eggulu omukulu!
N’okumanya kuno, tetufuula kibi ng’ekyetooloolerwako enkolagana yaffe. Emwoyo gyaffe gitegekeddwa okuwulira ebiragiro ebisingawo obukulu: Entegeka Ze eri amawanga gaffe; Okutambula Kwe mu Ssemazinga zaffe; Ekigendererwa kye ku lw’ebyobufuzi byaffe, eby’enfuna era n’enkolagana z’abantu.

Eki nikyo kirungi kandi ekishemeire omu maisho ga Ruhanga Omujuni waitu, oyenda ngu abantu boona bajunwe, bamanyire kimwe amazima.
Omu ndagaano eya ira, ekibi kikaba kiri enshonga nkuru omu mukago gw’omuntu na Ruhanga.
Nikyo ahabwenki omu byahandiikirwe nk’omu Isaaya 1:18, ekiganiiro ningu ebibi by’omuntu n’obu biraabe nibitukura nka karari, biryayera nk’orubaare; N’obu biraabe nibitukura tuku-tuku, biryaba nk’ebyoya by’entaama ebirikwera.
Endagaano ensya ekahindira ekiganiiro. Omu kitabo kya Yohaana 1:29, Yohaana omubatiza nagamba ahari Kristo ati, “Reeba, Omwana gw’entaama wa Ruhanga, orikwihaho ekibi ky’ensi.”
Hati, oshemereire kwebuuza, Kristo akaheza omurimo ogu Yohaana omubatiza arikugambaho? Buzima zima akatwara ekibi ky’ensi?
Eky’okugarukamu ahariitwe abarikwikiririza ni, ego buzima, akatwaara ekibi ky’ensi.
Ekyo nikyo ahabwenki, omu ndagaano ensya, ekintu kikuru munonga n’obuvunanizibwa bw’okuburira engiri okuhika aha muheru gw’ensi. Ekibi nikiba enshonga nkye ahabw’okuba tuhairwe amaani kusingura kandi tukahakanisa ekibi ahabw’eshagama ye n’omurimo gw’embabazi ogutariha.
Nk’oku omutwe gw’ebyahandiikirwe byaitu gurikugira, n’okukunda kwe ngu abantu boona bajunwe, bamanyire kimwe amazima.
Egi niyo nteekateeka y’iguru!
N’enteekateeka egi, titurikukora ekibi enshonga nkuru omu mukago gwaitu na Ruhanga. Emyoyo yaitu nehurira obuhabuzi bukuru: enteekateeka ye aha mahanga gaitu; omurimo gwe ogu ateekateekyeire ensi zaitu; ebigyendererwa bye aha butegyeki, obutuungi n’ebyemikago.

Endagaano empyaka ekahindura ensonga enu. Omu Yohana 1:29, Yohana omubatiza nagamba hali Kristo, “Dora, Omwana gwentama ogwa Ruhanga, arukuihaho ebibi byensi.”
Habw’ekyo, osemerire kwekaguza, Kristo akamaliriza omulimo ogwa Yohana omubatiza akubazaho? Uwe malikwo akatwara ebibi by’ensi?
Ekigarukwamu haliitwe abakwikiriza nikyo malikwo, akatwara ebibi by’ensi.
Enu niyo nsonga habwaki, itwe ab’omundagaano empyaka, ekikuru muno hagati ya Ruhanga n’omuntu tikiri ekibi habwokuba ekyo akakimara Calivario. Hamu n’entekereza nk’enu, titufora ekibi nsonga nkuru eyokuterana kwaitu. Emyoyo yaitu etekanizibwe kuhurra endagi’ro ezamaani; entekanizaze habwamahanga gaitu; ekigendererwa kye habw’ebya polipo, entahya hamu n’okwikarana.

KUBALIANA NA MUNGU – AGENDA YAKE

1 Timotheo 2:1-4 (KJV); Basi, kabla ya mambo yote, nataka dua, na sala, na maombezi, na shukrani, zifanyike kwa ajili ya watu wote; kwa ajili ya wafalme na wote wenye mamlaka, tuishi maisha ya utulivu na amani, katika utauwa wote na ustahivu. Hili ni zuri, nalo lakubalika mbele za Mungu Mwokozi wetu; ambaye hutaka watu wote waokolewe, na kupata kujua yaliyo kweli.
Katika kipindi cha Agano la Kale, dhambi ilikuwa jambo kuu katika uhusiano kati ya mwanadamu na Mungu.
Ndiyo maana katika maandiko kama Isaya 1:18, mazungumzo ni kwamba ingawa dhambi za mtu huyo ni nyekundu sana, zitakuwa kama theluji; zijapokuwa nyekundu kama bendera, zitakuwa kama sufu.
Agano Jipya lilibadilisha mazungumzo. Katika Yohana 1:29, Yohana Mbatizaji anasema juu ya Kristo, “Tazama, Mwana-kondoo wa Mungu aichukuaye dhambi ya ulimwengu.”
Hivyo basi, ni lazima ujiulize, je, Kristo alitimiza kazi ambayo Yohana Mbatizaji anazungumzia? Je, kweli aliiondoa dhambi ya ulimwengu?
Jibu kwetu sisi tunaoamini ni kwamba kwa kweli, aliichukua dhambi ya ulimwengu.
Ndiyo maana, kwetu sisi tulio chini ya Agano Jipya, jambo la muhimu zaidi kati ya Mungu na mwanadamu si dhambi kwa sababu aliishughulikia pale Kalvari. Jambo la muhimu zaidi ni kazi ya kuhubiri injili hadi mwisho ya dunia. Katika andiko letu kuu, ni mapenzi yake kwamba watu wote waokolewe na kupata kuyajua yaliyo kweli. Hii ni ajenda ya mbinguni!
Kwa ufahamu huu, hatufanyi dhambi kuwa kitovu cha ushirika wetu. Roho zetu ziko tayari kusikia maagizo makubwa zaidi: Mipango yake kwa mataifa yetu; Hatua yake inayofuata katika mabara yetu; Kusudi lake kwa mazingira yetu ya kisiasa, kiuchumi na kijamii.

UJUMBE MKUU: Kwetu sisi tulio chini ya Agano Jipya, jambo la muhimu zaidi kati ya Mungu na mwanadamu sio dhambi. Ni kazi ya kuhubiri injili hadi miisho ya dunia.
SALA: Mola wangu, Nakushukuru kwa elimu hii. Ninajua kuwa ulifanyika dhambi ili nipate kuwa haki ya Mungu. Siishi maisha yangu chini ya ufahamu wa dhambi lakini kwa ufahamu wa kusudi kwa sababu ninaelewa kile ambacho umefanya ndani yangu. Najua tamaa zako na moyo wangu unadunda baada ya mipango yako, katika jina la Yesu, Amina.

The Word of God is the ultimate answer to any circumstance that a man may face. 
The fight between proponents of the doctrine of grace and those of the law is a way issue. In our theme scripture, Paul speaks of how he persecuted ‘this way’. In Acts 9:2, the Bible explains how he had gone to the High Priest, desired him of letters to Damsacus so that if he found any man or woman of ‘this way’ he would bring them bound unto Jerusalem.
Every man in this world has a price tag.
In the previous devotion, we discussed the truth that every nation is under some form of yoke and the fact that as a body of Christ, we have a responsibility to bring nations under the yoke of Christ.
Every nation is under some kind of yoke. Our theme scripture reveals one such instance when it says that there was a time when certain nations were under the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar King of Babylon.
When describing the relationship that He shared with Moses, the Lord God says, in Numbers 12:8, “
Jesus Christ is the Minister of the Sanctuary. As the Minister of the Sanctuary, His primary ministry to every child of God is not what He must do through you but what He must do in you.
God wants to do great things in the lives of His children. He wants to teach them, promote them, elevate them, lead them and transform them.
There are people in this life of the gospel whose sole desire is to be appointed to stand at an altar but without understanding the responsibility that comes with the appointment.
Jesus was often followed by multitudes. Scripture explains in one instance that for a period of three continuous days, they were with him as he preached and ministered. Here were men, women and children seemingly oblivious to their hunger that it took the compassion of the master to meet the need for food for their bodies (Matthew 15:32).
