A Higher Degree Of Faith
The Phaneroo Devotion: A Higher Degree Of Faith
Apostle Grace Lubega
Romans 6:4(KJV); Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
Faith has degrees. The degree of faith determines the results of your faith.
For example, when it comes to faith, there are people who stopped at Calvary. Their understanding of the liberties of the Spirit is limited to the wounding of Christ for our transgressions, His bruising for our iniquities, His chastisement for our Peace and His stripes that healed us(Isaiah 53:5). That is a degree of faith but it is a lower degree with its own limitations.
In this degree of faith, you may believe in the forgiveness of sins and in the healing of the sick and yet never walk in the fullness of the life we were birthed into as children of the Most High God.
There are others who went past Christ’s death at Calvary to the life beyond His grave. They died with Him, were buried with Him and raised up with Him into the newness of life.
This is a higher degree of faith that launches you into understanding the oneness that you have with God, the authority you carry as one seated with Him far above all principalities and the perfection that you carry in Spirit.
We all carry the responsibility to grow our faith.
If faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God(Romans 10:17), what word are you listening to? Are your ears dull to higher spiritual realities? Can your spirit bear heavier insights into the person of God?
Never be averse to revelation, treating it like heresy and religious sacrilege. The greater the depths God launches you in His Word, the higher the degree of faith.
Hallelujah!
FURTHER STUDY: Romans 10:17, Ephesians 1:17
GOLDEN NUGGET: Faith has degrees. The degree of faith determines the results of your faith. The greater the depths God launches you in His Word, the higher the degree of faith.
PRAYER: Father, I thank You for this truth. I am strong in faith and by it, I give glory to You. My heart is open to know You more and as You launch me deeper, I fly in the liberties of the Spirit.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

There are laws in the realm of God and one such law is the law of life.
There is so much that God has placed inside you. The Bible equates it to deep water and it is by understanding that you draw these things out.
Every believer must have certainty in the things of the Spirit. God has not called us to a life of doubt when it comes to what we can do in Him and what He can do through us.
The garden of Eden had no seasons of lack. There is no record in the scriptures that at some point in time, a certain tree would fail to bear fruit because that was not its season. It was green all year round because that is how God intended it.
In our theme scripture, the Lord teaches us a fundamental principle on how we relate with the world around us when it dares to question the authority that we have in God.
When Christ stood before the fig tree demanding that it yield its fruit to Him because He was hungry, its failure to do so was a direct challenge to His divine authority because the tree saw Him as a mere man.
Success in life should never breed indifference to the presence of God. Unfortunately, this is the reality in the lives of some believers. When success, influence and wealth came their way, they distanced themselves from God.
The seed of greatness seeks to serve many. The reason why some are not elevated in influence and wealth is because the vision of their lives is limited to themselves and their immediate family. They do not dream for their communities, nation or the world.
It is a puzzling reality for a man to sow much and bring in little and yet the Bible reveals that it is possible for one to give their tithes, offerings and seed and not walk in the abundance of blessings because of that person’s ways.
In this Christian walk, I have seen people bend under the pressure of ministry that has caused them to give up and abandon the cause of the gospel, feeling betrayed by the things they once gave their hearts to.
When the Bible speaks of raising the poor out of the dust, some believers immediately assume they are the poor ones that God will raise to sit among princes.
