The Allegory Of The Brasen Serpent: Our Victory

Apostle Grace Lubega

Numbers 21:8-9 (KJV); And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live. And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.

In John 3:14, Jesus makes reference to our theme scripture and says, “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up.”

Why is Jesus typified as the serpent of brass?

In the scriptures, brass symbolises judgement while the serpent is a symbol of sin.

While at the cross, Jesus became sin. (2 Corinthians 5:21).

This means that sin was judged, and anybody who looked at He (Jesus) who was made sin and judged for it lived.

Jesus is the lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world (John 1:29).

He was manifested that He might destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8).

Sin, disease, poverty and any other form of suffering are works of the devil. Jesus Christ’s mission was to come and destroy the works of the devil which He did! As such, He said, “It is finished” (John 19:30).

When we look to Him, we have victory over sin, disease, suffering and any form of affliction including death!
Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: 2 Corithians 2:14, 1 John 3:8

GOLDEN NUGGET:

When we look to Jesus, we have victory over sin, disease, suffering and any form of affliction including death!

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for this Word. I rejoice in the victory that is guaranteed in Christ. I know that I am more than a conqueror. I look to you my Lord, in the understanding that sin, affliction and every work of the enemy is judged. Even as I continue to behold you, the things of this world grow strangely deem. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Why We Preach The Grace: Unbroken Fellowship

Apostle Grace Lubega

Romans 6:10-11(AMP); For the death that He died, He died to sin [ending its power and paying the sinner’s debt] once and for all; and the life that He lives, He lives to [glorify] God [in unbroken fellowship with Him]. Even so, consider yourselves dead to sin [and your relation to it broken], but alive to God [in unbroken fellowship with Him] in Christ Jesus

Our theme scripture reveals that Jesus Christ lives in unbroken fellowship with the Father.

This is the same privilege that God has accorded you as His child.

Fellowship with God does not depend on how you feel or what you have done to please God. In the newness of life in Christ, it has everything to do with where Jesus is.

That is why the Bible says “even so, consider yourselves to be dead to sin [and your relation to it broken], but alive to God [in unbroken fellowship with Him] in Christ Jesus.”

You ought to think and believe in your spirit that you are one with God and are in constant fellowship with Him. It begins from a faith perspective, that the grace may be multiplied unto you. It can only be of faith that it may be of grace(Romans 4:16).

FURTHER STUDY: Romans 4:16, 1 John 1:3

GOLDEN NUGGET:

Fellowship with God does not depend on how you feel or what you have done to please God. In the newness of life in Christ, it has everything to do with where Jesus is.

PRAYER: Father, I am grateful for your Word. Thank you for the gift of grace that grants me immeasurable privileges in you. I stand in the knowledge that I am in constant communion with you. My spirit is exercised in this knowledge every day. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Results by Love

Apostle Grace Lubega

1 John 4:18 (AMP); There is no fear in love [dread does not exist], but full-grown (complete, perfect) love turns fear out of doors and expels every trace of terror! For fear brings with it the thought of punishment, and [so] he who is afraid has not reached the full maturity of love [is not yet grown into love’s complete perfection].

When a Christian is not perfected in the love of God, it is very hard for them to produce results of the Spirit.

Anyone who is not perfected in the love of God always has problems receiving from God.

The scripture says, “This is love made perfect that you may have confidence on that day, that as He is so are we in this world” (1 John 4:17).

Which day does the scripture refer to? The day you were diagnosed with a terminal illness, the day when they find HIV in your relative’s blood, the day when you lose your job or the day you receive any such bad news. In any crisis, the perfection of the love of God relates you to Him such that you ought to respond like He responds.

The opposite of love is fear and we haven’t received the spirit of bondage again to fear but of power, love and a sound mind because fear has torment.

This means when a man carries a spirit of fear, he is in constant torment.

The reason why some Christians fail is because they carry fear in their spirits.

When you have not understood that God loves you, it is easy to assume that certain bad things will happen to you and the beginning of this assumption starts to attract all these bad things.

Child of God, you must believe that God loves you too much to let certain things happen to you.

In every area of our lives, God has called us to remind ourselves of His love. Praise Him!

FURTHER STUDY: 1 John 4:17, 2 Timothy 1:7

GOLDEN NUGGET:

When you are not perfected in the love of God, it is very hard to produce results. Child of God, you must believe that God loves you too much to let certain things happen to you.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for your word. I thank you because you have given me the Spirit of power, love and a sound mind. Your love is shed abroad in my heart by the HolyGhost. Thank you Lord because I am established and grounded in it. I carry a consciousness that you love me and can never let anything evil come near my dwelling. With this mind I am producing results. In Jesus’s name, Amen.

The Secret Of Results: The Ruled Spirit

Apostle Grace Lubega

Proverbs 25:28 (KJV); He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.‬

A city that is broken down and without walls is exposed to attacks and can easily be plundered.

As indicated by our theme scripture, if you don’t know how to control your spirit, you are exposed to any form of attack; no matter how much you pray or fast.

A Christian who is exposed to any form of attack is one of whom the Bible speaks and says that he or she can be taken captive by the enemy at his own will (2 Timothy 2:26).

It means that when the devil wants to inflict them with disease, he does it at a mere whim of his.

If he wants to destroy their property, he will destroy it because they are defenceless. It is very ungodly for a Christian to be at the mercy of the enemy!

The Bible says, “The spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity and a wounded spirit, who can bear”(Proverbs 18:14).

Infirmity in this case means weakness, sickness, affliction or attack. God has created your spirit with a certain ability to withstand anything.

This means that everything that happens in your life is a result of the state of your spirit.
Sometimes, people don’t need deliverance services, they need to be taught the Word of God enough that it brings healing to their spirits.

When their spirits are healed, they can withstand anything.

FURTHER STUDY: 2Timothy 2:24-25, Hebrews 4:12

GOLDEN NUGGET:

Everything that happens in your life is a result of the state of your spirit.

PRAYER: Father in the name of Jesus, I thank you for your word. Thank you that my spirit is ruled. I am kept and preserved by your power. My spirit is healthy. The Lord is the health of my countenance. I am strengthened by God. I am energized from within. In Jesus’s name, Amen.

The Word Of His Joy

Apostle Grace Lubega

John 15:11 (KJV); These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

When the Word of God is received in our spirits, it fills us with joy.

This fullness of joy is not the joy that comes and passes with the changing times.

The fullness of joy is that which never passes away. That joy is always alive within us every day of our lives.

The Bible calls it the Joy of the Lord.

In 1 John 1:1-4 we understand that the Word of God ministered to our spirits brings the fullness of the joy of the Lord.

It says, “That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;) That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.”

When Christ is revealed by the Word of God, joy comes in our spirits. That very joy of the Lord is our strength. (Nehemiah 8:10).

Even when storms come, rejoice because you have the Word. When fire comes, dance with joy! When negative situations arise, they cannot flush out our joy because you carry His Word.

Child of God, embrace the Word of God and never let anything rob you of your joy. For the Word of His promise shall never fail! Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Nehemiah 8:10, James 1:2

GOLDEN NUGGET:

When Christ is revealed by the Word of God, joy comes in our spirits. That very joy of the Lord is our strength.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, I thank you for your Joy in my life. Thank you for your Word, by which we have received it. I choose to be joyful in you all the days of my life. For the Joy of the Lord is my strength. In every situation, I will be joyful, and unfazed by circumstance, but comforted on every side. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Knowledge Is Time

Apostle Grace Lubega

Matthew 13:15 (KJV); For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; LEST AT ANY TIME they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

Timing on the earth is different from time in the spirit. Time in the spirit is not limited to seconds, hours and days.

God has framed eternity in such a way that time in the spirit realm is demarcated and defined by knowledge.

That means that the difference between who you are now and who you shall be tomorrow is the knowledge that is revealed to your spirit.

The time factor in eternity responds to knowledge.

Our theme scripture says, “lest AT ANY TIME they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.”

The sight, hearing, understanding and conversion in this scripture all come by the knowledge of God and His Word.

The more you know in God, the faster and more easily you get results.

For this reason, we INVEST in KNOWLEDGE and the STUDY of the scriptures. We invest in getting UNDERSTANDING and in the things of the Spirit.

We invest time in the presence of God and in allowing God to teach us through the Word. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Proverbs 4:5-7, Ecclesiastes 10:10

GOLDEN NUGGET:
God has framed eternity in such a way that time in the spirit realm is demarcated and defined by knowledge. The difference between who you are now and who you shall be tomorrow is the knowledge that is revealed to your spirit. The time factor in eternity responds to knowledge.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for this Word. It is working in my life. I thank you for the Holy Spirit who lives and Works in me, and He is that unction that reminds me that I know all things. Knowing this, I choose to invest in knowledge. I thank you because you work in me everyday to desire wisdom and understanding and to increase in it. I rejoice because my life reflects the results of the Word of God. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

The Blessing of Righteousness

Apostle Grace Lubega

Romans 4:6 (AMP); Thus David congratulates the man and pronounces a blessing on him to whom God credits righteousness apart from the works he does.

In our salvation, there are blessings that follow other blessings or are received because of other blessings.

One of those blessings is the blessing of the righteousness imputed to us without our works.

The Bible says that the man unto whom God imputes His righteousness is blessed. David, as indicated in our theme scripture saw that man by the Spirit and congratulated him.

The blessing of righteousness does not merely give you the privilege of fixing a simple problem you might have. It defines your destiny and course because you are the righteousness of God.

It is the foundation of our persuasion about the things that must follow us.

Child of God, be persuaded of His love toward you, that He will never leave you, nor forsake you.

Be persuaded of your ministry that it shall not be cut short, but it shall move from glory to glory.

Be convinced that God is perfecting that which concerns you.

Be persuaded and rejoice that you will make it in this life, and that your testimony shall be great in Jesus, name!

FURTHER STUDY: Psalm 32:2 Proverbs 10:7

GOLDEN NUGGET:

The blessing of righteousness does not merely give you the privilege of fixing a simple problem you might have. It defines your destiny and course because you are the righteousness of God. It is the foundation of our persuasion about the things that must follow us.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, I thank you for the gift of righteousness imputed to me. I thank you because that blessing of righteousness assures me that it shall be well with me. I am persuaded that I shall finish well. It is well with my business. It is well with my ministry. It is well with my soul. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Purity of Mind

Apostle Grace Lubega

2 Peter 3:1 (KJV); This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your PURE MINDS by way of remembrance: That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour

As a child of God, you have been begotten of the incorruptible Word of truth (1 Peter 1:23).

Because you have, you hear the Word and respond to the things of the Spirit with a purity of mind and heart.

The purity of mind that the Apostle Peter writes about here is deeper than that which relates to the moral uprightness of a man.

The purity herein is that which responds to the things of the Spirit in the manner that they ought to be responded to.

This purity causes you to observe spiritual truths and interpret them as they ought to be interpreted.

There are Christians who have spiritual experiences and absolutely misinterpret what they see.

Some may have not seen or heard anything but have been convinced by a deceptive spirit that they saw some things or heard God pertaining to certain issues. It is purity of mind to have precision in spiritual sight and never to have a wrong stand on visions.

When God gives a man visions, purity of mind causes that man to see what he sees AS HE MUST SEE IT and not only what he merely desires to see in the spirit realm. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY:1 Corinthians 2:11-13 AMP, 1 Timothy 1:5

GOLDEN NUGGET:

When God gives a man visions, purity of mind causes that man to see what he sees AS HE MUST SEE IT and not only what he merely desires to see in the spirit realm.

PRAYER: Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you for this Word. It is working in my life. I thank you because I see as I must see and interpret truth as it ought to be interpreted by your Spirit. My footsteps are guided by you. My vision is defined by you. My mind and heart are purified. I am mindful of your word and instruction in every area of my life. In Jesus name. Amen.

Christ Above The Elements: Beyond The Physical Body

Apostle Grace Lubega

Luke 22:19-20 (KJV); And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me. Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.

Christ takes on forms that are in themselves elements.

Because these elements eventually melt (2 Peter 3:10), it is an error to tag the identity of the Christ to them.

In our theme scripture, the bread was an element and this bread represented the body of Christ.

The bread, which was an element was broken and this was the same experience of the bruising and crashing of His body.

When explaining His manifestation in the flesh, the Bible says “And the Word (Christ) became flesh (human, incarnate) and tabernacled (fixed His tent of flesh, lived awhile) among us; and we [actually] saw His glory (His honor, His majesty), such glory as an only begotten son receives from his father, full of grace (favor, loving-kindness) and truth.”(John 1:14 AMP).

It was not intended that Christ should walk and minister in the body forever because His body was an element.

That is why He said, “It is profitable (good, expedient, advantageous) for you that I go away. Because if I do not go away, the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Advocate, Intercessor, Strengthener, Standby) will not come to you [into close fellowship with you]; but if I go away, I will send Him to you [to be in close fellowship with you].” (John 16:7 AMP).

This is why we no longer regard the Christ in the flesh (2 Corinthians 5:16) and look at the Christ ABOVE THE ELEMENT OF HIS PHYSICAL BODY who is the person of the Word in breadth, height, length, width and depth. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY:Colossians 1:26-27, Romans 6:3-5

GOLDEN NUGGET:

Christ takes on forms that are in themselves elements. Because elements eventually melt (2 Peter 3:10), it is an error to tag the identity of the Christ to them.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for your salvation. I thank you for the truths you reveal to me every day. Today, I choose to look past the forms through which the Christ ministers to His very person. I behold the broadness of His person in the Word, His depth, Height and lengths. As I behold, I become. I am broadened by the Word, launched deeper by the word and elevated higher by the Word. In the name of Jesus. Amen!

Christ Above The Elements: Forms

Apostle Grace Lubega

Galatians 4:9 (KJV); But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?

When a man is not born again, he is subject to the elements of this world.

For us who have received Christ, the scriptures remind us that we are no longer subject to any such elements (Galatians 4:3).

The word elements as used in our theme scripture is translated as “stoicheion” in the Greek to mean among other things, “the material causes of the universe.”

When a man is under the elements, he easily relates with the MATERIAL WORLD because it is governed by predictable material causes.

In the same way, many Christians have become attached to a God, or to a Christ who appears in material elements.

They build monuments of the forms that the Christ appears in and many of these forms have sadly framed the foundation of many world religions.

When God appeared to Moses in a burning bush, it did not make the burning bush God. When Christ appeared as a rock to the children of Israel, it did not make the rock the person of Christ.

The scriptures say that one day, the elements shall melt (2 Peter 3:10).

That means physical elements and the forms the Christ takes cannot serve as our primary source of our revelation of Him.

FURTHER STUDY: 1 John 4:17, Colossians 3:1-3

GOLDEN NUGGET:

Physical elements cannot serve as our primary source of the revelation of God.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, thank you for this wonderful truth. I thank you because your love towards me gives me confidence that as you are so I am in this world. I refuse to be subject to the rudiments and elements of this world, and I choose to live above them. Every area of my life yields its form to your word. Every situation in my life yields to the divine revelation of your truth in my life. In Jesus’ glorious name. Amen.

The True Promise Of God

Apostle Grace Lubega

Exodus 3:8(KJV); And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.

Often times, we preach men ‘back into Egypt’ because we have not understood the true promise of God.

Many of our testimonies are of ‘Egypt’, for in Egypt, they had food, got married, had children and raised families.

These are what define promises to us and as such, we think that they form the ultimate basis of satisfaction in the Promised Land.

However, the Promised Land was a place flowing with milk and honey.

These two – that is the MILK and HONEY represent the Word of God. (1 Peter 2:2, Psalms 119:103).

This Promised Land was meant to be a place of the Word because knowledge is our true inheritance.

It is eternal life to KNOW the only true God and His son Jesus Christ (John 17:3).

The Holy Spirit is called the SPIRIT OF PROMISE (Ephesians 1:13) who leads us into all truth (John 16:13). It is He who searches out the deep and bottomless things of God and leads us therein.

The true promise of God is the knowledge of Him. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: John 17:3, John 16:13

GOLDEN NUGGET:

The true promise of God is the knowledge of Him.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for the great inheritance of knowledge. You are the God that fulfils promises—you have and continue to fulfil the promise of knowledge. I know that the windows of heaven have been thrown open and mighty rivers of revelation are poured incessantly from above. Lord I receive, I take it all, with no restraint, no veils and no barrier of traditions. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

The True Testimony

[restabs alignment=”osc-tabs-left” responsive=”false” tabcolor=”#81d742″ seltabcolor=”#eeee22″] [restab title=”English” active=”active”]

Apostle Grace Lubega

Hebrews 6:9 (KJV); But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak.

There is a man who thinks that his greatest problem is the lack of money; he believes if he gets it, then all his issues will end.

There is a woman who thinks that her greatest problem is the lack of a husband, if she gets married, her life will change.

Another thinks that once he gets a job, he will find true satisfaction.

I have been in church long enough to see people get jobs yet remain the same, get married yet remain the same, get healed of diseases yet remain the same, bear children after long periods of barrenness yet remain the same!

They will testify that God gave them a job, a car, a husband, a child or any such other thing but sometimes, these testimonies on our altars are of men who are still bound because they have not discovered that true freedom lies in knowledge (John 8:32).

Paul says, we are persuaded of the things that accompany salvation (Hebrews 6:9).

Testimonies are not the things that follow us but the things ahead of us.

Your real testimony is not the car you received or the new business deal that came through, it is Christ! Christ is the life of the Spirit that attracts these things. He is the fountain from which we drink and never thirst again. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Hebrews 6:9, John 8:32

GOLDEN NUGGET:

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for this word. My eyes are set on things that are above where Christ sits at the right hand of the father. I am fully persuaded of the things that accompany salvation. I look to higher things this day and cherish the life in you as my true testimony. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
