Attracting Wealth – 3

Proverbs 22:29(KJV); Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.
Diligence is a law of attraction.
In our theme scripture, God reveals one of the many things it attracts–wealth.
The reason why some people are close companions with the beggarly and miserly is because they are not diligent. They wonder why they are surrounded by people who can never extend them a helping hand despite their desperate status.
How do you expect to attract wealth when the sun rises to find you still tucked away in bed, dreaming of better days and hoping that your life will change?
How do you think you can attract wealth when the greater part of your days are spent in front of a television screen, languishing in a sofa you didn’t pay for and in a house to which you make no rental contribution while praying that God will bless the work of your hands?
Wealth and success yield to diligence.
You must do something with your life other than passively sitting back waiting for the heavens to open and shock you with a miracle.
Do not excuse laziness by claiming there are no jobs. God did not promise to bless your white-collar job when it comes. He promised to bless the work of your hands.
Be deliberate about your future by choosing diligence as a life path because He that labours mightily lives in you.
Hallelujah!
FURTHER STUDY: Proverbs 10:4, Proverbs 12:24
GOLDEN NUGGET: Wealth and success yield to diligence. Be deliberate about your future by choosing diligence as a life path because He that labours mightily lives in you.
PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this Word. I am a diligent and excellent spirit. I see increase every day of my life because I exercise myself in the ways of the diligent. To the glory of Your name, Amen.

Proverbs 19:17(KJV); He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the Lord; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.
The wealth of the wicked is stored up for the just(Proverbs 13:22). However, there are principles that facilitate this transfer. Our theme scripture is one such principle.
Wealth is a responsibility and not merely a privilege. Part of this responsibility is toward the less advantaged.
Are you amassing wealth to merely build your small empire and a world that starts and ends with you?
That was the folly of the man in Luke 12:16-21. Drunk on his success, he said, “And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.”
In response to this display of supreme self-centeredness, God said, “Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?”
The Bible goes on to reveal, “So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.”(Luke 12:21).
Considering the poor is part of being rich toward God because when you have pity on them, you lend to the Lord.
Examine your life and ask the critical question of whether what you seek is solely for you. The vice of selfishness is repulsive to greatness. You can never expect true increase if your heart does not beat for the betterment of the lives of others.
FURTHER STUDY: Proverbs 28:27, Proverbs 28:8
GOLDEN NUGGET: The vice of selfishness is repulsive to greatness. You can never expect true increase if your heart does not beat for the betterment of the lives of others.
PRAYER: Father, I thank You for such great wisdom. The love that You have shed abroad in my heart teaches me to look past my desires and seek to serve those around me who are in need. I am a beacon of hope to many because you have taught me what it means to exercise liberality. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Ecclesiastes 10:19(KJV); A feast is made for laughter, and wine maketh merry: but money answereth all things.
Money answers a believer. It does not command or have the authority to question you.
This is because God has placed you in the position of master and money in the position of servant.
Sadly, there are Christians who reverse this order and place themselves at the command of money.
How do we know when money commands a man?
It changes his values, his attitude and behaviour for worse.
Before money graced his pockets, he walked with humility and spoke with grace to friends and relatives. Now that he has a bigger account balance, he walks around on a high horse and cannot be bothered to recognise lesser mortals.
Before she got a big break in business, she did not mind doing the menial jobs in church such as cleaning up. Now that she has been elevated, such tasks are surely beneath her.
In Psalms 62:10, God cautions us and says, “if riches increase, set not your heart upon them.”
Never be too rich to serve. No matter how much increase comes your way, stay authentic. The more God blesses you, the humbler you should become. Let money answer to you instead of commanding you.
FURTHER STUDY: 1 Timothy 6:17, Psalms 62:10
GOLDEN NUGGET: Money answers a believer. It does not command or have the authority to question you. This is because God has placed you in the position of master and money in the position of servant.
PRAYER: Father, I thank You for this Wisdom. I know that You are increasing me every day in every area of my life. Even as the blessings overflow, I choose the path of humility and never set my eyes on these riches but on You, the true beautifier of my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Ephesians 1:9(KJV); Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself
Salvation is not a journey, it is an end.
When you treat salvation as a journey, you make provision for the struggles, pain and suffering that are typical of one whose future is a mystery and one who is fumbling in the dark for the next step forward.
Looking at salvation as a journey postpones your victories and disregards the work of Christ at Calvary.
A journey presupposes uncertainties without a clear vision of what awaits you at the end of the road.
This mindset is the reason why health, success, growth and increase is subjected by some, to the vagueness of the future.
The Word of God clearly paints the picture of His mind on how we should consider the life of salvation.
When He said, “it is finished”, (John 19:30), He was pointing to an end. When He said, “Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified,”(Romans 8:30) He was pointing to an end.
God has made known unto you the mystery of His will. Your expected end as a child of God is not a plan you discover but one fully revealed when you choose to believe the Word of God.
Live from the end, therein is mastery.
Hallelujah!
FURTHER STUDY: Romans 8:30, John 19:30
GOLDEN NUGGET: God has made known unto you the mystery of His will. Your expected end as a child of God is not a plan you discover but one fully revealed when you choose to believe the Word of God.
PRAYER: Father, I thank You for this Word. I receive and embrace this truth and live in its manifestation. I live with the end in sight and I see that it is good because you are that end. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Hebrews 11:3(KJV); Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
Faith is a creator of time. Time does not create faith.
Some people are fond of making provisions for time in order to evoke faith. For example, their faith finds possibility only in the realm of time.
From such people, you hear statements like, “Ten years from now, I shall make it in business.” Such a person cannot believe that they are a success now or that they can wake up tomorrow morning when their entire world has changed for the better.
These people lean on time to create faith.
That is not the mind of God. You cannot walk in perfect faith if you subject yourself to time. By the wisdom of God, it is faith that creates time.
You are as poor for as long as you want to be by the level of your faith. You are diseased for as long as you want to be according to the level of your faith.
If you want your healing or success now, it can come now. If you want it in seven days, it can come in seven days. If you want it in years, it can come in years. Faith creates time. Time does not create faith.
God has given you the liberty to define how your tomorrow, five years or the next ten years will be as long as you make the choice to believe.
Hallelujah!
FURTHER STUDY: Romans 4:17, Hebrews 11:1
GOLDEN NUGGET: Faith creates time. Time does not create faith. God has given you the liberty to define how your tomorrow, five years or the next ten years will be as long as you make the choice to believe.
PRAYER: Father, I thank You for this Word. My future is set and guaranteed in victory. I know that my tomorrow and the days to come are a success and blessed because I choose to see my life through the eyes of faith. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Matthew 19:12(KJV); For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother’s womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven’s sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.
Our theme scripture is a revelation of how some graces come to operate in the lives of different individuals. There are graces that work in you because they are innate by virtue of your calling and assignment; there are graces that work in you because of the people you associate with and there are graces that work in you because you separated and consecrated yourself for certain places of mastery.
Eunuchs made by men understand this pattern of greatness: association, assimilation and then impartation.
Association is one of the avenues through which mastery is evoked. If association affects mastery, then you must be very keen on who you surround yourself with. Hang around the wise; keep company with men and women of faith.
In assimilation, you allow yourself to observe and absorb mannerisms, ideals and the way of life of those who have gone ahead of you. In assimilation is the hunger of the faithful student towards the master.
Impartation is in the readiness of your spirit to receive from the life and spirit of one ahead of you.
Don’t merely hang around greatness. Never stop at association and the comfort of being seen in the company of a great man or woman alone. Assimilate and receive impartation.
Hallelujah!
FURTHER STUDY: 2 Timothy 2:5, 1 Corinthians 9:25
GOLDEN NUGGET: Eunuchs made by men understand this pattern of greatness: association, assimilation and then impartation.
PRAYER: Father, I thank You for this Word. I receive its truth as wisdom for mastery. This knowledge teaches me to keep the right company. I am established in the understanding of how to relate with and receive from greatness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

2 Chronicles 16:12 (KJV); And Asa in the thirty and ninth year of his reign was diseased in his feet, until his disease was exceeding great: yet in his disease he sought not to the LORD, but to the physicians.
A life lesson that I have religiously and indiscriminately lived by is to seek God first whenever anything negative happens to me.
Sadly, some Christians treat God as an emergency appeal. He is usually the last on a long list of trial and errors. They resort to Him after they have run through their relatives, friends, friends of relatives and relatives of relatives.
You must exercise a God-impulse.
What this means is that no matter what happens in your life, seek God first. Before you call the ambulance, talk to Him. Before you even consult your dearest and closest friend, talk to God!
As a parent, you ought to teach your children this form of God-dependence. Panadol should not be the first point of reference for a headache. Vitamins should not be the first option for flu. God must come first.
We live in a world of alternatives that are deliberate in their agenda of eroding the place of faith in God in the lives of Christians. Refuse to be a victim of this world view.
Like wisdom demands of us in Proverbs 3:6 (MSG); “Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track.”
His name be praised!
FURTHER STUDY: Proverbs 3:6, Philippians 4:6
GOLDEN NUGGET: You must exercise a God-impulse. It means that no matter what happens in your life, seek God first.
PRAYER: Father, I thank You for this truth. You are the Alpha and Omega of every detail of my life. I look to You and to no other. You are my strength, my peace, joy and strong tower. My life is a testimony of one who hopes and leans entirely on You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

2 Chronicles 16:12 (KJV); And Asa in the thirty and ninth year of his reign was diseased in his feet, until his disease was exceeding great: yet in his disease he sought not to the LORD, but to the physicians.
The world is in the business of setting carnal options before us. It is a tragedy that some people are too eager to jump at them as a lifeline while neglecting God and His Word.
If you search the depths of some people’s indifference long enough, you will realize that alternatives are the reasons why they do not seek God.
Why bother to pray when you have millions of shillings at your disposal for the best possible medical care?
Why bother to seek Him when you have a legion of accomplished relatives to give you your next provision up the ladder of success?
Such was the folly of King Asa. So great was his indifference that not even the severity of disease could bend his knees.
Alternatives are usually taken very lightly, until you start to see their true power. Alternatives can blind you to the ever extended hand of God.
When our theme scripture reveals that in his diseased state, Asa did not seek the Lord but physicians, it means that God was waiting, expectant and ready to help Asa if only he could let go of his pride and look to the master.
Asa died at the hands of the Physicians that thought they could save him. Men today die at the hands of jobs, of rich relatives and friends, of big account balances and of prestigious social standing, all because of the illusion of alternative.
You truly must examine your life and carefully investigate the source of your security and confidence. If it is not God, it is only a matter of time before a true shaking reveals those things for what they truly are—sinking sand.
FURTHER STUDY: Jeremiah 17:5, Psalm 125:1

PRAYER: Father, I thank You for this Word. My trust and hope is in You. You are unshakeable, immovable and ever faithful. No matter how far I go in life, no matter the crowns, the laurels and the success, You will always be my God, my strong tower and my confidence. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Mark 9:23 (KJV); Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.
A story is told of an elderly lady who was asked how she could believe fanciful tales in the Bible like that of Jonah. It beats even the wildest stretches of human imagination that a man would be swallowed by a big fish, snuggle in its belly for three days and get spat out alive.
To this bit of cynical scepticism, the woman simply said, “Even if the Bible had said that Jonah had swallowed the fish, I would still believe it.”
That is the almost surreal quality of pure faith when not tainted by the jaded views of realism.
This unflinching regard for His word that borders on insanity and brushes the edges of foolishness in the mind of the world is the kind of faith that God expects from us as believers.
The Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 5:13 throws down the gauntlet before those who defy extreme faith and says, “If we were out of our mind, it is for God.”
A simple glance down the line of our forebearers in the faith will reveal a sequence of men and women accused of varying stages of insanity because they dared to believe God.
But what remarkable lives they lived! Seas parted, axes floated, walls fell and the dead were raised!
There is no escaping faith because it is the law by which we live. The greater the faith, the greater the liberty, the greater the liberty, the greater the reality of the life of God.
Make room in your spirit for crazy things because, by this, you curve your place on the great wall of faith.
FURTHER STUDY: 2 Corinthians 5:13, 1 Corinthians 1:18
GOLDEN NUGGET: There is no escaping faith because it is the law by which we live. The greater the faith, the greater the liberty, the greater the liberty, the greater the reality of the life of God.
PRAYER: Father, I thank You for this truth. Your Word is the standard by which we live and the pattern for my everyday living. I am above and not beneath because You said so! I do great and mighty things because You said so. I am multiplying and increasing in everything we do because You said so. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Romans 8:1-2(KJV); There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
Our reality as new creatures is that we are in Christ. He not only is in us but we are in Him.
These in Christ truths paint the true picture of the life of a believer.
When a child of God understands these truths, they appropriate the law of life.
Appropriating the law of life means that they live according to the dictates of a life in the fullness of the Spirit.
Sin and death bow to such a one because the law of the Spirit of life in Christ frees us from the law of sin and death.
Understanding in Christ truths means that you give life to what is dead and things around you cease to die.
When you live within Christ consciousness, your ministry comes to life, your business pursuits come to life, your relationships come to life and anything that spells death lives outside the sphere of your influence.
Hallelujah!

Hebrews 9:22(KJV); And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission
In the great equation of the remission of sins, some people seem to erroneously slip in the factor of repentance while subtracting the factor of blood.
Such assume that it is repentance and repentance alone that remits sin.
The result of this teaching is that men focus so much on repentance and forget what Christ did at the cross.
The attention shifts from the finished work at Calvary to what men can do to make themselves ‘better and cleaner’ before God.
When we preach repentance and forget the blood, we lean towards the law. It is only by pointing men to the blood that we open their eyes to grace.
Repentance without the understanding of this blood was the doctrine of John the Baptist(Mark 1:4). It is what Apollos preached until Priscilla and Aquila expounded to him the way of God more perfectly (Acts 18:24-26).
What did the blood do? The blood saved us to the uttermost(Hebrews 7:25) and dealt with sin, past, present and future.
Repentance alone does not take away sin; it is incomplete without the shedding of blood. In this understanding is true liberty.
Hallelujah!
FURTHER STUDY: Mark 1:4, Acts 18:24-26
GOLDEN NUGGET: The blood saved us to the uttermost and dealt with sin, past, present and future. Repentance alone does not take away sin; it is incomplete without the shedding of blood. In this understanding is true liberty.
PRAYER: Father, I thank You for this Word. I have received its understanding and walk in its reality. I believe that You have saved me to the uttermost and I have victory over sin and the dominion of the enemy. My mind is renewed and transformed in this liberty. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Romans 8:1(KJV); There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Guilt is a spirit. It is the anticipation of consequences of one’s wrongs and the reason why some Christians cannot boldly approach the throne of grace.
There are those who have received the righteousness of God and believe it; they know that they have been forgiven and that their sins have been cast as far as the East is from the West but they have never dealt with the issue of guilt.
Such people make statements like “because of my past, I do not think God can bless me with a child or a good spouse” or “because of my past, I am struggling to get ahead in life.”
To them, every present difficulty is linked to some past wrong.
That is not the language of a man or woman who has understood the blessed gift of righteousness in its entirety.
The apostle Paul, aware of his past crimes in persecuting the church and of the blood of saints like Stephen that was on his hands had to make a bold choice.
He had to hinge onto the strategic value of a selective memory and declare, ” forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”(Philippians 3:13-14).
There is no condemnation for those in Christ. Make the choice to forgive yourself and to forget the past. Look to the throne of God daily and embrace redeeming love.
Hallelujah!
FURTHER STUDY: Philippians 3:13-14, Psalm 103:10
GOLDEN NUGGET: There is no condemnation for those in Christ. Make the choice to forgive yourself and to forget the past. Look to the throne of God daily and embrace redeeming love.
PRAYER: Father, I thank You for this truth. I received and embraced Your grace and it is the reality of my life. My eyes are set on You and not on my past. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
