A Present Continuous Victory

Apostle Grace Lubega

John 1:5(KJV): And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

The language of our theme scripture is that light “SHINETH” in darkness and the darkness “COMPREHENDED” it not.

Your testimony is that of a present continuous experience of victory [SHINETH] while that of the devil is a past experience of defeat [COMPREHENDED]!

The devil is stuck in the past.

You have no business bringing him into your present or your future.

He tried to understand you and failed!

He tried to defeat you and failed!

He tried to kill you and failed!

He tried to wreck your marriage and failed!

He tried to destroy your child and failed!

Look at every circumstance in your life through this lens of truth: the devil’s defeat is a past tense issue.

Continue to shine in the liberty of this knowledge. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: John 16:33, 1 John 4:4

GOLDEN NUGGET:
Your testimony is that of a present continuous victory while that of the devil is a past defeat.

PRAYER: My father, what a marvellous truth! Today, I embrace this understanding! I refuse to acknowledge the power of the enemy over my family, health, marriage or education. He was defeated, I am more than a conqueror reaping the benefits of Christ’s victory. I acknowledge the life of the Spirit that is continuously flowing out of me to your praise and glory! In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Live Expansively

Apostle Grace Lubega

2 Corinthians 6:11-13 (MSG); Dear, dear Corinthians, I can’t tell you how much I long for you to enter this wide-open, spacious life. We didn’t fence you in. The smallness you feel comes from within you. Your lives aren’t small, but you’re living them in a small way. I’m speaking as plainly as I can and with great affection. Open up your lives. Live openly and expansively!

God has called us to a glorious life in Him and that life is lived from the inside out.

Many people are conscious of what is around them: the pain, the poverty, the strife, the heartache or the sickness.

Their worlds are narrowed to only what they can perceive through the physical senses.

The Bible says, “The smallness you feel comes from within you.”

But listen to the Father, child of faith!

He says, “Your Life is not small but you are living it in a small way.”

Look at what God has done. Understand that you have treasure in earthen vessels (2 Corinthians 4:7).

Understand the infallible truth that He has placed the world in your heart. (Ecclesiastes 3:11).

How you live WITHIN determines how you live WITHOUT.

Your Life is not small. Live EXPANSIVELY. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: 2 Corinthians 4:7, Ecclesiastes 3:11

GOLDEN NUGGET:

How you live WITHIN determines how you live WITHOUT. Your Life is not small. Live EXPANSIVELY.

PRAYER: My Great Lord I thank you. What a great truth to know that He who made the universe lives in me; He who framed the earth and gave the ocean its course has made my body His home. Heaven is your throne, earth is your footstool, you who dwells in the lofty place and inhabits eternity. You live in me. How can I be normal? How can I think small? How can I be intimidated by circumstances? No! I am great, I am big and I am doing things that put a dent in the universe. The world marvels at what comes out of me. This is the story of my life because the greater one lives in me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

The Eyes Of The Word

Apostle Grace Lubega

Hebrews 4:12 (KJV): For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

The Word of God has eyes.

In this dispensation, there are Christians who only look to men of God to tell them about God’s will for their lives.

Indeed, a man of God may see that you have a problem with your marriage but he might not see that there is a storm brewing at your work place in which you may get caught.

He may see the disease seeking after the life of your child but may not see that death is seeking you.

He may see some details of your life that need fixing but he won’t see it all.

But you have the WORD!

The Word searches, cuts asunder, separates bone and marrow and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Nothing is hid from Him and all things are open, exposed, naked and defenceless before Him (Hebrews 4:13 AMP).

The Word will look into your life and expose what you must fix.

The Word is the mirror that will tell you what needs to change.

The Word will expose the heart of your next business partner to you and you will know if they mean you harm.

The Word will lay bare the heart of your intended spouse and you will know if you have to choose them as a life partner or not.

He-the Word-will give you wisdom among the simple.

He will give you discernment among the naïve and gullible.

He will give you precision among those that aim for greatness.

Child of truth, always look at life through the Word of God!

FURTHER STUDY: Jeremiah 23:29, Psalms 119:130

GOLDEN NUGGET:

The Word of God has eyes. Always look at life through the Word!

PRAYER: My great and loving father, I delight in the knowledge that your will for my life is peace, joy, righteousness, grace and greatness! As a good, good father, you have laid your heart bare in your Word. Today, I have made the choice to read it with this knowledge. How can I be deceived when I have the Word? How can I not know my next step when I have the Word? How can I fumble like one in the darkness of the future when I have the Word? I regard your Word above ALL else because I know you have exalted your Word above your name. Thank you Lord. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

A Free Christian

Apostle Grace Lubega

Luke 13:15 (KJV): The Lord then answered him, and said, Thou hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering?”

From our theme scripture, in giving the analogy of loosing an ox or ass and leading it to water, Jesus explains one vital principle of the life of the Spirit: we are FREED to RUN to the WATERS.

One cannot speak of freedom in the things of God without making reference to ACCESS TO WATER.

This is not physical water. Water represents the Word of God.

Ephesians 5:26 speaks of the cleansing of the Church by the washing of water with the Word.

So, the true testimony of a person who is free is that they HUNGER for the Word of God.

It is okay to seek healing, deliverance, increase or multiplication in ministry but act like you are free!

Always look to the Word of God and make it a part of your daily life.

There is nothing as mighty and powerful as the Word of God; it is the FOUNDATION of God’s promises, the BEDROCK of our faith and the SOURCE of our freedom.

Study it like your life depends on it because it does!

Apply it like your life depends on it, because it does!

Never let your eyes depart from it, keep it in the midst of your heart!

Never compromise on giving the Word the attention it deserves.

Pray in it, confess it, seek God in it, worship in it, and pay the price to grow in it.

That is a free Christian! Glory to God!

FURTHER STUDY: Colossians 3:16, Joshua 1:8

GOLDEN NUGGET:

The true testimony of a person who is free is that they HUNGER for the Word of God.

PRAYER: Father God, your Word is priceless! When I had nothing, I had the Word. When I had it all, I still had the Word. This Word has kept me, preserved me, taught me, led me, instructed me and shown me how to see the world. Like David, I rejoice over it as one who has found great spoil. It forms the pattern of every area of my life. By it, I don’t only touch but I change my generation. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

Till Your Land

Apostle Grace Lubega

Proverbs 28:19 (KJV): He that tilleth his land shall have plenty of bread: but he that followeth after vain persons shall have poverty enough.

The word spoken by a man or woman of God upon your life is not the absolute guarantee that what is spoken will come to pass.

Because some people have been deceived in thinking that all it takes is for a man of God to speak, they have set their hearts entirely on seeking men of God for what God is saying about them.

That should not be the life of a believer who seeks to grow in the things of God.

Like our theme scripture instructs, TILL YOUR LAND and you will enjoy plenty of bread.”

The land represents your heart. Tilling it means that you ALLOW the Word of God to be PLANTED and ROOTED in your spirit.

Seek and commit to understand how the spirit world works. You do this through studying the Word.

Give the Word of God first place in your life!

Pursue it!

Let it work in you and saturate every area of your life.

Speak it everywhere.

God has promised that you will have plenty of bread, which means you will have the results of the Word manifested greatly through you. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Colossians 3:16, 1 Timothy 4:15

GOLDEN NUGGET:
Give the Word of God first place. Pursue it. Let it work in you and saturate every area of your life. Speak it everywhere. God has promised that you will have plenty of bread which means you will have the results of the Word manifested greatly through you.

PRAYER: My loving God, I thank you for the gift of your Word; the manual for my life, the campus for my divine travels and the road map of my destiny. I look to your Word above all else. It is on my lips, in my heart, mind and soul. Today, I make the choice by faith to live a Word patterned life. To the glory of your name. Amen.

Of Hidden Manna

Apostle Grace Lubega

Revelation 2:17 (KJV): He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.

When your ears in the spirit are opened, God reveals to you hidden things.

This is what the Bible has called HIDDEN MANNA.

In Moses’ day, manna used to fall every day; it was accessible to all of Israel while in the wilderness (Deuteronomy 8:16).

In the book of Revelation, God points us to that which is hidden.

This hidden manna are spiritual realities and truths that other people do not ordinarily see.
They are beyond human scrutiny.

This is why our Father God tells us, “Pray to me and I will show you great and unsearchable things that you know not”(Jeremiah 33:3).

The Hebrew word “BATSAR” for UNSEARCHABLE is translated to mean fenced, fortified, enclosed or inaccessible.

These things in God cannot be accessed by you searching them out.

They are accessed as you yield to God in LOVE!

You enter these places because you are established in the love of God and seek Him primarily because of your love for Him!

FURTHER STUDY: Jeremiah 33:3, Isaiah 45:3

GOLDEN NUGGET:

When your ears in the spirit are opened, God reveals to you hidden things. You enter these places because you are established in the love of God and seek Him primarily because of your love for Him.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for this Word. I delight in the knowledge that you want to reveal to me deep and unsearchable truths. I yield to the leading of your Spirit as He searches the bottomless things in you. What comes out of my spirit is what no eye has seen or ear has heard. I speak what is beyond the ordinary and utter the highest wisdoms of eternity. All to the glory of your name. Amen.

Delight In The Lord

Apostle Grace Lubega

Psalms 37:4 (KJV): Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

God is love, and it is important that as His child you relate with Him as LOVE.

Love is not an attribute of His; Love is His PERSON and very NATURE!

A man who has understood what it means to delight in the Lord is one who has understood how much God loves Him.

Delighting in the Lord is the joy of basking in the knowledge that He loves you.

This wisdom ought to define how you pray.

Some Christians go to God only to present problems or to beg.

They cry, “God this has happened…Why me? Why my family? What did I ever do to you God? God give me a new car…God I am tired of this job…God this…God that…”

But they never take time to simply delight in Him.

Regardless of your present circumstance, you must learn to delight in God.

Simply get into the presence of God to bask in the knowledge of the things He has done for you and how much He loves you.

“God I thank you for my wonderful life. I thank you that you chose me, called me, sanctified and separated me! I thank you because I did not seek you, by love you sought me! I thank you that nothing can separate me from your love, not life, not death, not things present not even things to come”

Delight in God.

“Oh, I am so blessed! I can count my blessings one by one and know that you have been faithful. I look at how much you have given me and dance with joy. I did not deserve it but you gave. You answered before I called. You provided before I prayed. What a faithful God! What a loving father!”

Delight in the Lord!

Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: John 15:16, Psalms 21:2

GOLDEN NUGGET:
Delighting in the Lord is the joy of basking in the knowledge that He loves you.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for this day. What a wonderful privilege to be a child of God! I rest in the knowledge that I am loved. Your love has cast out all fear. It is the reason nothing shakes me. I cannot be afraid of tomorrow or what the future holds because your love has been to my future and cast out anything that could have given me cause to fear. Today, I dance under the showers of your love and delight in the endless blessings you have made my portion. In Jesus’s name. Amen.

The Folly In Strife

Apostle Grace Lubega

1 Corinthians 3:1-3 (KJV): And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?

Love is the FORCE and BEDROCK by which many forces in the spirit function.

Faith works by love (Galatians 5:6).

Revelation increases in your spirit when you have understood and are established in the love of God.

When you look at what grieved Paul about the Corinthian church (envy, strife, divisions), all these were manifestations of not walking in love.

But imagine the consequence!

Paul was unable to feed them on spiritual meat and could only treat them as babes capable of only taking spiritual milk.

They could not advance to the next level of spiritual growth because of envy and strife. How sad!

Divisions, envyings and strife cut out the voice of God and of His revelation.

Pursue peace if you wish to continue hearing and knowing God deeply.

FURTHER STUDY: Hebrews 12:14, 1 Corinthians 13

GOLDEN NUGGET:
Divisions, envyings and strife cut out the voice of God and of His revelation. Pursue peace if you wish to continue hearing and knowing God deeply.

PRAYER: My God, I thank you for this Word. You have taught me the virtue in pursuing peace with all men. I desire to hear your voice over and over so I choose this day to set aside any kind of strife and envy that may hinder me. I walk in love because it is the testimony of those that truly know you. Thank you that as I live more and more by this pattern, you launch me into deeper depths of your Spirit. In Jesus name, Amen.

Love, The Law By Which We Utter

Apostle Grace Lubega

2 Corinthians 12:3-4 (KJV): And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.

Paul speaks of an experience where he was caught up in paradise and heard unspeakable words which it is not lawful for a man to utter.

The fact that it was not lawful for a man to utter these things does not mean that there was no place or provision in the spirit for these things to be uttered.

There is a place in God that lifts the constraints off these laws of utterance.

This place is in the love of God.

When love allows utterance, it communicates by means that are beyond merely speech.

Some Christians have been deluded to think that unless something is spoken, then it has not been communicated. But, there is a degree of love that doesn’t seek to speak.

Speaking is not the only way to minister to people.

When you understand the royal law of love, even your silence, thoughts and meditations minister.

In this realm, you don’t function by the gift upon your life.

The weakness of men that function purely by the gifts upon their lives is that they will seek to prove themselves in the places where God demands silence.

So when Paul speaks of the things which were unlawful to utter, in some instances he refers to functioning under the gift in the absence of love.

May God teach you to love, for love is the greatest liberty of the Spirit, and in love there are no limitations to utterance.

FURTHER STUDY: James 2:8, 1 John 4:8

GOLDEN NUGGET
Love is the greatest liberty of the Spirit, and in love there are no limitations to utterance.

PRAYER: My gracious father, thank you for this Word. Some truths cut us asunder and cause us to understand the heart by which we must seek God. Every day you remind me about this love that cuts through all dimensions. Depth is in love. Breadth is in love. Length is in love. Height is in love. I am a love creature and every day as I soar on the wings of the Spirit and launch into deeper experiences, it is only because I have been grounded in this love by you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Love Constrains Us: Regard No Man After The Flesh

Apostle Grace Lubega

2 Corinthians 5:14-16 (KJV): For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead…Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.

The character of love as revealed to us in the Bible sets a very high bar on how we ought to treat fellow men.

In 1 Corinthians 13:7 AMP, the Bible says of love, “love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances and it endures everything [without weakening].”

How does love believe the best of every person and endure everything without weakening?

The constraints of love, like the theme scripture says, dictate that we regard no man after the flesh.

It means that we do not judge men according to what they do in the flesh.

Yes, she is annoyingly quarrelsome but ignore that weakness in the flesh. Yes, he is rebellious but ignore that weakness in the flesh.

Consider the righteousness of God that he or she is (2 Corinthians 5:21). Consider the wisdom that God has placed inside them (1 Corinthians 1:30). Consider the treasure in earthen vessels (2 Corinthians 4:7).

Never judge a man for sin in the flesh. Look at their identity in God and pray for them so they walk in who they truly are in Him.

FURTHER STUDY: 1 Corinthians 13:8, 1 John 3:9

GOLDEN NUGGET:
Never judge a man for sin in the flesh. Look at their identity in God and pray for them so they walk in who they truly are in Him.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for the revelation of your love. Lord, knowledge and prophecies may cease but love never fails. Abba, you have revealed that when I love, I can never fail to change a man; when I love, I can never fail to change circumstances. My spirit has been recreated in the image of love, I am the very love of God. Every day, I walk in its dictates: believing in people and looking at them through the very eyes that you look at them. By this, I know that I will change the world, because I am qualified with the highest degree, which is your love. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Love Constrains Us: Other Men’s Burdens

Apostle Grace Lubega

2 Corinthians 5:13 (KJV): For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead.

Through the years I have spent in ministry, I have learnt to continually pray for other people; it is the way of love.

When love constrains you, you learn to consider the needs of others above your own.

If you must see God, child of truth, you have to get to a place where prayer is not just about your needs.

He says “cast your burdens unto Him and He shall sustain you.” (Psalms 55:22).

The constraints of love dictate that we cast our own burdens to the Lord and carry other men’s burdens in our prayer.

Casting your burdens to Him means that you never allow them to take your attention even for a moment because you know that God cares and answers even before you ask. God’s part is to sustain you.

Lay aside your needs and embrace the cause of the gospel!

There are people whose prayer closets can make you weep. They never pray for anyone else except themselves; how wrong!

If your heart has not been opened to the needs of those nearest to you, how will God reveal to you the need of a nation, a continent or the world?

By love, CAST your burdens and CARRY other men’s burdens. We must be our brothers’ keepers.

Love must constrain us. Amen!

FURTHER STUDY: 1 Peter 4:8, 1 John 4:8

GOLDEN NUGGET:

By love, CAST your burdens and CARRY other men’s burdens.

PRAYER: My loving father, I thank you because you teach me to walk in love every day. This love causes me to look past my burdens to those of the people around me. This love is patient in me, it is long suffering in me, is kind in me, believes all things in me and always looks for the best in every person. This love teaches me the true spirit of the intercessor: that which puts others before self. I grow in this character every day. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Love Constrains Us: The Heart Of Revival

Apostle Grace Lubega

2 Corinthians 5:13 (KJV): For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead.

I have gotten to a place in my life where if God revealed to me that He intends to use a certain person to revive a place, I will pray for that person and do all I can to help them walk in that call.

It is good to ask God to use you but you must learn to pay the price for those who will never know that you did anything for them.

Do not seek God because you are waiting on Him for your opportunity to shine; seek Him out of the purity of a heart that truly loves Him.

Love constrained a man to die for this gospel that today we preach so freely and openly on the streets.

You may never meet the person who prayed for your pastor to give his life to Christ so he can in turn preach to you.

You may never meet the person who paid for the conference at which you met our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ. But, someone somewhere paid a price for someone they did not know.

That is the Spirit that gives the gospel its continuity. Love is the lifeblood of the gospel.

This is not about us. We are not after titles, positions or to be seen by men; we labour to please God.

Love must constrain you to CARRY the VISION of REVIVAL in your spirit: to intercede for those who may never know that you were a part of their revival, people who may never wish to associate with you and people who may never love you regardless of what you do.

Love must constrain you!

FURTHER STUDY: 2 Corinthians 12:15, Colossians 1:24

GOLDEN NUGGET:
Love must constrain you to CARRY the VISION of REVIVAL in your spirit: to intercede for those who may never know that you were a part of their revival, people who may never wish to associate with you and people who may never love you regardless of what you do.

PRAYER: Father, I am so humbled to be alive in these times. The days are speaking and I am privileged to be a part of your great work in the earth. The consciousness of this drives how I pray and seek your face. This is not about me; if you seek a man to stand in the gap, I am available. I stand in the gap for the prophet who must be a voice for the nations; I stand in the gap for the apostle who must carry a distinctive message for this generation; for the evangelist with a grace to win countless souls; for the mothers who must raise the greatest leaders of our generation; for the father who must mentor the next David; for the Hannah who must raise the next Samuel. I will not stop until I see these things in my generation. By love, I spend and I am spent for the sake of the gospel. To the glory of your name. Amen.
