The Power Of His Grace – 2

Apostle Grace Lubega

Matthew 12:20(KJV); A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he send forth judgment unto victory.

The Power Of His Grace – 2God’s desire is to strengthen the weak and to fan into flames any that may be burning out.

Our theme scripture reveals His heart. He cannot break a bruised reed and does not quench a smoking flax.

The grace of God does not break the weak. It ministers strength to them. That is why our Lord told Paul that in his weakness, God’s strength was made perfect.

The grace of God never kicks a man who is already on the ground. It is not what finishes off the struggling or drives the final nail in any one’s coffin.

It is the restorative power of God that holds onto anyone in the clutches of weakness and seeks to infuse them with Godly strength and ability so that they will stand.

In the book of Isaiah, God speaks of you as His beloved vineyard. He says “At that same time, a fine vineyard will appear. There’s something to sing about! I, God, tend it. I keep it well-watered. I keep careful watch over it so that no one can damage it. I’m not angry. I care. Even if it gives me thistles and thorn bushes, I’ll just pull them out and burn them up. Let that vine cling to me for safety, let it find a good and whole life with me, let it hold on for a good and whole life. (Isaiah 27:2-5MSG).”

How does God deal with your ‘thistles and thorn bushes’? He pulls them out and burns them up. He doesn’t destroy you the individual.

This is why you must live with the confidence that when you feel weak, then you are at your strongest.

When you feel fallen is when you are most upheld. When you feel broken is when you are most whole.

Glory to God!

GOLDEN NUGGET:
You must live with the confidence that when you feel weak, then you are at your strongest. When you feel fallen is when you are most upheld. When you feel broken is when you are most whole.

PRAYER: Great Father, thank you for this Word. Thank you for who you are to me. My strength, my strong tower and my firm foundation. I lean on you in all things because it is your hand that upholds me. I know that I am a work in progress and you never seek to destroy me but continually present me as perfect. I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. This is the consciousness with which I live my life. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
