Of Divine Responsibility

Apostle Grace Lubega

Luke 19:13(KJV); And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.

Of Divine ResponsibilityEvery Christian must understand his or her assignment.

If you expect to sail through this life without ever doing your part in the gospel or contributing to the expansion of the kingdom then you have not understood the faith in which you are.

In Isaiah 45:19, the Bible says, ‘I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.’

The Hebrew word for vain is ‘tohu’, which is translated to mean nothingness or emptiness.

God has not called you to nothingness, that is, a life without purpose.

Christ in our theme scripture tells us to occupy until He comes. It is in the places of occupation that we yield to divine responsibilities, which responsibilities make us heads and not tails, above and not beneath.

Live life in the understanding that you have a part to play in the gospel; there is an expectation that heaven has of you. You have a call upon your life; a grace through which many will be blessed.

Eternity is counting on you.

GOLDEN NUGGET:

Live life in the understanding that you have a part to play in the gospel; there is an expectation that heaven has of you. You have a call upon your life; a grace through which many will be blessed. Eternity is counting on you.

PRAYER: Loving Father, thank you for the race that you have set before me. Thank you for the gifts and calling upon my life. Thank you for the word I receive every day that has made me a minister and a steward of the mysteries. I spend and I am spent for the sake of the gospel because I know my part. I will finish well knowing that you are my end. In Jesus’ name, Amen
