Discernment Of Doors

Apostle Grace Lubega

Galatians 2:7-8(KJV); But contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter; (For he that wrought effectually in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision, the same was mighty in me toward the Gentiles:)

Discernment Of DoorsNot every door that is open, is for you to enter. Simply because you have the potential for a thing does not necessarily mean that it is you who must execute it.

This is the wisdom of discerning which doors to enter and which ones to ignore.

Do not be deceived by the keys in your hands. You may have a key to a door but it is only so you can open it for another to go through it.

Take the example of Peter in the house of Cornelius (Acts 10). By the Spirit of God, Peter opened the door for the gospel unto the gentiles. However, like our theme scripture reveals, his apostleship was to the circumcised(Jews) and not the uncircumcised while Paul’s apostleship was to the Gentiles.

God used Peter, a man on whom He had placed a grace for the Jews to open a door for the gentiles. Simply because he opened this door to the uncircumcised did not mean that he was called to the uncircumcised.

Paul paid a huge price every time he went to the Jews because he was called to the Gentiles. In fact, his greatest persecutions were by Jews in whose synagogues he went to preach. Even if he had a zeal for them, he had not been given the grace for them.

You must know which doors to enter. Exercise your spirit to understand the boundaries of your godly assignment. Entering the right doors will save you many wars while entering the wrong doors will attract many unnecesary wars.

GOLDEN NUGGET:

Not every door that is open is for you to enter. Simply because you have the potential for a thing does not necessarily mean that it is you who must execute it.

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank you for this wisdom. I understand my assignment, the places and the people to which you have called me. I go where you send me and not just where zeal leads me. I serve in the perfect will of the Father. To the glory of your name, Amen.
