Acts 8:1 (KJV) And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria, except the apostles.

Sometimes persecution comes into the life of a Christian because they are doing nothing with the impartation they received from the Spirit of God.

In the book of Acts, God instructed the disciples that once the Spirit was come upon them, they were to preach the gospel in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and the uttermost parts of the earth. When many tarried in Jerusalem, persecution came. This persecution came to scatter them because of the complacency they were yielding to. This complacency undermined divine purpose and the advancement of the gospel.

There are Christians who find circumstances against them because they have refused to move in the manifestation of the things that God has continually taught them, they have refused to exercise themselves in the knowledge they have received.

Hands were laid upon them and graces released into their spirits but they did nothing about these impartations. They did not walk out in faith to do the things spoken over their lives, they did not seek the mind of God pertaining to how they can increase and grow in these kinds of anointing, and they did not own these impartations but instead assumed that things would randomly fall into place.

There are consequences of neglecting the gift in you that you received by prophecy and the laying on of hands by the presbytery.

They may bind all kinds of demons and seek deliverance from all kinds of men of God. But, the sooner they understand the reason for their plight, the quicker they are delivered. These are called the tests of a minister.

Sometimes, persecution comes into the life of a Christian because they are doing nothing with the impartation they have received from the Spirit of God. Like the early church, persecution was pertinent to scatter them for the advancement of the gospel.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for this knowledge; it stirs up the gift that is in me. I am functioning in what I have received and it is working mightily through me. I can never be complacent in the things of the Spirit because when I received of the Word, it became as a fire in my bones. LES EXAMENS D’UN MINISTRE

Actes 8:1 (KJV) Saul, pour sa part, était bien d’accord pour qu’on le fasse mourir. C’est alors le début d’une grande persécution contre l’Eglise à Jérusalem, et tous sauf les apôtres se dispersent dans les districts de Judée et de Samarie.

Parfois la persécution entre dans la vie d’un chrétien parce qu’ils ne font rien avec l’entrainement qu’ils ont reçu de l’Esprit de Dieu.

Dans le livre des Actes, Dieu a demandé aux disciples qu’une fois que l’Esprit venait sur eux, ils devaient prêcher l’évangile à Jérusalem, en Judée, en Samarie et dans les parties extrêmes de la terre. Quand beaucoup sont restés à Jérusalem, la persécution est tombée. Cette persécution est venue les disperser à cause de la complaisance qu’ils ont cédée. Cette complaisance a miné le but divin et l’avancement de l’évangile.

Il y a des Chrétiens qui trouvent des circonstances contre eux parce qu’ils ont refusé de manifester les choses que Dieu leur a continuellement enseignées, ils ont refusé de s’exercer dans la connaissance qu’ils ont reçue.

Les mains ont été déposées sur eux et les grâces ont été libérées dans leurs esprits mais ils n’ont rien fait à propos de ces images. Ils ne se sont pas éloignés de la foi pour faire les choses parlées au cours de leur vie, ils n’ont pas cherché l’esprit de Dieu sur la façon dont ils peuvent augmenter et croître dans cette sorte d’onction, et ils ne possédaient pas ces images mais ont supposé que les choses allaient s’arranger.

Il y a des conséquences de négliger le don en vous que vous avez reçu par la prophétie et la prise de mains par le presbytère.

Ils peuvent lier toutes sortes de démons et chercher la délivrance de toutes sortes d’hommes de Dieu. Mais, plus tôt ils comprennent la raison de leur sort, plus vite ils sont délivrés. Ce sont les examens d’un ministre.

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth (Acts 1:8)

Regardless of how anointed any Christian is, it is important that you are taught and learned. In the book of Acts, when the Holy Spirit descended upon the disciples, they started to perform miracles, cast out devils and do all sorts of great works by the power of God at work in them. 

However, they got fascinated by these manifestations of power in Jerusalem and tarried there yet the instruction of God had been that once they received power, they would be witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and the uttermost parts of the earth. 

Now between Jerusalem and Judea is the city of Antioch; and of Antioch, the scriptures say that it was a place of much teaching (Acts 11:26).  The men that left Jerusalem but did not pass through Antioch later on caused issues for the church at Jerusalem. Even though they were anointed, miracle workers and demonstrators of the Spirit, they were unlearned and as such erred in doctrine. 

The Bible records in Acts 15 that, certain men came down from Judea and taught the brethren, “unless you are circumcised according to the custom of Moses, you cannot be saved.” 

This was wrong teaching. Some only saw below the sword and not above it because they were not taught men. 

All this means that regardless of how anointed you are, of what sorts of diseases you can heal, of how much power you can demonstrate, of how many demons you can cast out, you must be taught. Tarry in Antioch so you can learn the things of the spirit, the voice of God, the things that make a minister such that when you must fly on the wings of assignment, you will not error or have any dent in your testimony. Praise God!

ANTIOCHE : LE LIEU DE L’ENSEIGNEMENT EN ABONDANCE

Mais vous recevrez la force de l’Esprit Saint : il descendra sur vous et vous serez mes témoins, à Jérusalem d’abord, puis en Judée, en Samarie, et jusqu’au bout du monde (Actes 1:8).

Quelle que soit l’identité de tout Chrétien, il est important que vous soyez enseigné et appris. Dans le livre des Actes, lorsque le Saint Esprit est descendu sur les disciples, ils ont commencé à faire des miracles, à expulser des démons et à faire toutes sortes de grandes œuvres par la puissance de Dieu qui y travaille.

Cependant, ils se sont fascinés par ces manifestations de pouvoir à Jérusalem et ont attendu que l’instruction de Dieu avait été qu’une fois qu’ils ont reçu le pouvoir, ils seraient témoins à Jérusalem, en Judée, en Samarie et dans les parties extrêmes de la terre.
Maintenant entre Jérusalem et Judée c’est la ville d’Antioche ; et d’Antioche, les écritures disent que c’était un lieu de beaucoup d’enseignement (Actes 11:26). Les hommes qui ont quitté Jérusalem mais qui n’ont pas traversé Antioche plus tard ont causé des problèmes pour l’église à Jérusalem. Même s’ils étaient oints, miraculeux et manifestants de l’Esprit, ils ont été ignorés et en tant que tels ont commis une erreur de doctrine.

La Bible disent dans Actes 15 que certains hommes sont descendus de Judée et ont enseigné aux frères : “Si vous ne vous êtes circoncis selon la coutume de Moïse, vous ne pouvez pas être sauvés.”

 For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee (Proverbs 23:7).

A man is what he thinks. He does not become what he thinks, but he is what he thinks. Thoughts are not a process that lead you to something. They are the product and the result of what you are.

Some Christians have mastery over their words: their confessions are right and their declarations of faith are aligned to truth.However, they have not achieved mastery over their thoughts.

But understand child of God, that in the world of spirits, thoughts are louder than even your words.

The Bible speaks of an experience where a man says in his heart (Psalms 14:1). He does not speak out loud, he simply thinks it and in the world of spirits, it amounts to speech.

Who you are is a sum total of your thoughts. That is why it is important to master the laws of thought. Apply yourself to the continuous planting of godly thoughts through the word and the weeding out of whatever thoughts are not of God.

Never give bad thought the opportunity to take root in your life. You ought to have a ‘control- alt-delete’ attitude towards bad thoughts. By this, your circumstances and your environment will be tremendously transformed. Hallelujah!

LA MAITRISE DE LA PENSEE

Car toute son attitude est calculée. « Mange et bois ! » te dit-il, mais son cœur n’est pas avec toi (Proverbes 23:7).

Un homme est ce qu’il pense. Il ne devient pas ce qu’il pense, mais il est ce qu’il pense. Les pensées ne sont pas un processus qui vous mène à quelque chose. Ils sont le produit et le résultat de ce que vous êtes.

Certains Chrétiens maîtrisent leurs paroles : leurs aveux sont bons et leurs déclarations de foi sont alignées sur la vérité. Cependant, ils n’ont pas su maîtriser leurs pensées. Mais comprenez enfant de Dieu, que dans le monde des esprits, les pensées sont plus fortes que vos paroles.

La Bible parle d’une expérience où un homme dit dans son cœur (Psaumes 14:1). Il ne parle pas fort, il le pense simplement et dans le monde des esprits, cela revient au discours.

Qui vous êtes est une somme de vos pensées. C’est pourquoi il est important de maîtriser les lois de la pensée. Appliquez-vous à la plantation continue de pensées divines à travers la parole et la suppression de toutes les pensées ne sont pas de Dieu.

Ne pensez jamais la possibilité de prendre racine dans votre vie. Vous devriez avoir une attitude « control-alt-delete » à l’égard de mauvaises pensées. Par cela, vos circonstances et votre environnement seront considérablement transformés. Alléluia !

Labour not to be rich: cease from thine own wisdom (Proverbs 23:4)

It is human wisdom to labour to be rich and conversely Godly wisdom to know that God’s children are born rich.

The wisdom of God declares in 2 Corinthians 8:9 that: ‘ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.’

This does not mean that a born again Christian ought not to work hard. Hard work is key and fundamental but we work in the rest that God has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness(2 Peter 1:3).

When He says: ‘I am the Lord which teaches thee to profit,’ (Isaiah 48:17) it means that He instructs us in what He has already lavishly availed to us. It is a grace issue because grace primarily teaches the ‘hows’ and not just the ‘whats’.

Child of God, you are already rich; He simply teaches you the principles of how to walk in that wealth.

When a man labours to be rich, the Bible says that his riches make themselves wings. And fly away as an eagle toward heaven (Proverbs 23:5).

However, our God given wealth is preserved in and by Christ. The Bible says that God maintains it Himself (Psalms 16:5). Hallelujah.

Sometimes Christians do not increase simply because they have neglected the things of the kingdom. Some are selfish; everything is about what they need: their marriage, their children, their business and their jobs.

But what about the house of God? Have you ever taken time to ask God what you ought to do for the sake of the kingdom? Have you identified a need in the house of God without being asked to do so but because you felt prompted by the spirit of God? How many souls have you won to the kingdom since the year began?

This is the very reason some people are stuck. They have been at the same job for ten years with no promotion. They cannot produce fruit in their work places. Their businesses are struggling.

Our theme scripture says, consider your ways. The Lord told Moses to tell Pharaoh: ‘Let my people go, that they may serve me.’ (Exodus 7:16). It means that we are freed to serve. If you are doing nothing for the kingdom, you feel no inclination to serve God or to bring souls into the kingdom, then that is the highest form of bondage.

Your eyes might be set on the sowing that brings in little; the eating and not having enough; the drinking and not getting filled or the wages that fall through a bag with holes. But, that is not the issue, where is your zeal for the father’s house?

We are freed to serve. If you are doing nothing for the kingdom, you feel no inclination to serve God or to bring souls into the kingdom, then that is the highest form of bondage.

PRAYER: Lord, I am sold out to you and to the purposes of the kingdom. I am consumed by zeal for my father’s house. I choose to spend and be spent for the sake of the kingdom. I am free to serve. I walk in this liberty every day to do great and mighty things to the glory of your name. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes; For thou shalt break forth on the right hand; and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited (Isaiah 54:2-3)

By faith, we enlarge our tents and by the principles of greatness, we strengthen the stakes. The theme scripture is an instruction to the children of God to stretch their faith and dream big.

Let the word of God and not the world define the boundaries of your possibilities. Some people’s dreams and visions are too small for God to fit in them. Purpose to revisit your dreams, goals and aspirations. Rub out the tiny goals that the hand of man can accomplish and write God dreams: things that can only take Jehovah Himself to accomplish.

Our theme scripture says enlarge the tent, stretch forth the curtains and lengthen the cords. This is the place of stretching your expectations. But it goes on to say, strengthen the stakes. The stakes are the pegs and pins by which the tent is held in place. These are the principles by which men walk into greatness.

Dream big but also do the things that big dreamers do: think like they think, talk like they talk, act like they act. You cannot have a million dollar dream with a minimum wage work ethic. If your dream is to be the world’s greatest preacher then read the word like one, win souls like one, pray like one. If you are going to be the richest businessman then plan like one, give like one. Hallelujah!
