In the Kingdom of Glass

Apostle Grace Lubega

2 Corinthians 3:18 (AMPC), And all of us, as with unveiled face, [because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another; [for this comes] from the Lord [Who is] the Spirit.

The Word of God is a glass; a mirror. What you see in that mirror is a reflection of who you are.

That kingdom of glass is delayed by men who who are trying to discover themselves.

For example, consider two men in prayer; one is saying, ‘I cannot fail…I do not fail…’ However, this one man is confessing the Word because he speaks out of fear and thinks that the more he says it, the more it will be established as truth.

Another man is saying, ‘I cannot fail….I do not fail…’ but he speaks from the place of one who knows and is certain that he cannot fail because he knows who he is in God.

One man prays to fit himself into what he is saying and another speaks from a confirmed position of what is already affirmed in his spirit.

They are both speaking the same words, sitting under the same message but producing different results.

It is because one is more delayed than the other. The delayed man looks into the glass without the knowledge of who he is.

Beloved saint, the gospel defines identity to men who are delayed. And to men who are mature, it is a confirmation of what is already affirmed as truth in their spirits. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: James 1:23-24, Ephesians 3:9

GOLDEN NUGGET:
The gospel defines identity to men who are delayed. And to men who are mature, it is a confirming of what is already affirmed as truth in their spirits.

PRAYER: Father, thank you for this Word. I know who I am, the Word has defined my identity. Every day as I behold like in a mirror, I grow into the fullness of the stature of my Lord and savior. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Your Sound in the Spirit

Apostle Grace Lubega

1 Corinthians 14:7-8 (KJV); And even things without life giving sound, whether pipe or harp, except they give a distinction in the sounds, how shall it be known what is piped or harped? For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?

Our theme scripture teaches that things without life have distinctions in sound. If they do, how much more you, a child of God?

What makes you significant in this life of the Spirit is the distinction of your sound. If you are an apostle, how distinctive an apostle are you? If you are a prophet, how distinctive a prophet are you? If you are an evangelist, how distinctive an evangelist are you?

But I have seen men whose sound is uncertain and as such, they cannot give direction to the body of Christ.

When they sound, men do not know if it is a call to battle or to celebration. It means that at any one point, their messages cannot communicate the convictions and urgencies of the Spirit in any given season.

Distinction in sound is a grace and you need it, beloved saint. When you receive this grace, the worlds of men are opened unto you because you are able to give divine direction. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: 1 Corinthians 14:10, 1 Corinthians 15:41

GOLDEN NUGGET:
What makes you significant in this life of the Spirit is the distinction of your sound.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for the grace of distinction. My sound has gone out into the world carrying the brand of my spirit. When I speak, men recognize that sound. When I pray, men recognize that sound. When I worship, nations recognize that sound. In whatsoever I do, I am different. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Run to the Waters: Submerged

[restabs alignment=”osc-tabs-left” responsive=”false” tabcolor=”#81d742″ seltabcolor=”#eeee22″]
[restab title=”English” active=”active”]

Apostle Grace Lubega

Ezekiel 47:3-5(KJV); And when the man that had the line in his hand went forth eastward, he measured a thousand cubits, and he brought me through the waters; the waters were to the ankles. Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through the waters; the waters were to the knees. Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through; the waters were to the loins. Afterward he measured a thousand; and it was a river that I could not pass over: for the waters were risen, waters to swim in, a river that could not be passed over.

You are freed to run to the waters (the Word) but when you are taken to these waters, don’t let them only run as high as your ankles or your knees or your loins. Allow yourself to be completely submerged.

Of second thought, in our theme scripture, the prophet Ezekiel got to a point where the waters were too high for him and he could not pass over.

And this was a limitation of them that were under the old dispensation.

There are revelations and truths that they could never access.

But to the New Testament believer, the promise is that when you go through the waters He is with you and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you (Isaiah 43:2).

No amount of revelation is too much for you to bear. The instruction to you is to meditate on the Word and give yourself wholly to it (1 Timothy 4:15).

Let your knowledge of the Word not only be ankle deep, knee deep or waist high. Soak and submerge yourself in it that when men look at you, they see the Word in flesh. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Psalms 119:162, 1 Peter 2:2

GOLDEN NUGGET:
Let your knowledge of the Word not only be ankle deep, knee deep or waist high. Soak and submerge yourself in it that when men look at you, they see the Word in flesh.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for your great Word. My spirit is open to receive all that you are pouring out. I am diligent in seeking and searching out the scriptures. My life is given wholly to the Word and when men see me, they see the Word inherently working through me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

PÉPITE D’OR :

Amen.

Run to the Waters: Hunger for the Word

[restabs alignment=”osc-tabs-left” responsive=”false” tabcolor=”#81d742″ seltabcolor=”#eeee22″]
[restab title=”English” active=”active”]

Apostle Grace Lubega

Luke 13: 15-16 (KJV); The Lord then answered him, and said, Thou hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering? And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?

As revealed by scripture, we are freed to go to the waters.

Immediately one is born again, they must begin with the word. One must be taught the fundamentals of the new life in Christ.

In Ephesians 5:26, the Bible says; that he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the Word.

In this life, you may attend deliverance service after deliverance service and get healed from disease after disease but until you learn that freedom begins when you run to the waters, you will never be truly free.

Free men study the Word; they listen to it; they meditate upon it; they seek, search out and feed on it. James calls it the perfect law of liberty because it is what defines true freedom. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: 2 Timothy 2:15, Colossians 3:16

GOLDEN NUGGET:
Immediately one is born again, they must begin with the word. One must be taught the fundamentals of the new life in Christ.

PRAYER: Father, thank you for your Word, the foundation of truth by which men are set free. It shapes my desires and every day, I hunger and pant for it. I think the Word, I meditate the Word, I speak the Word because I am free. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Courir Aux Sources : Faim De La Parole

Apostle Grace Lubega

PÉPITE D’OR :

Amen.

Rehearse

[restabs alignment=”osc-tabs-left” responsive=”false” tabcolor=”#81d742″ seltabcolor=”#eeee22″]
[restab title=”English” active=”active”]

Apostle Grace Lubega

Psalms 42:5-6 (MSG); Why are you down in the dumps, dear soul? Why are you crying the blues? Fix my eyes on God — soon I’ll be praising again. He puts a smile on my face. He’s my God. When my soul is in the dumps, I rehearse everything I know of you, From Jordan depths to Hermon heights, including Mount Mizar.

When your soul is down cast, encourage yourself in the Lord. How so? Our theme scripture reveals that David did this by rehearsing the past victories that God had granted him. That is how we win; it is how we overcome. Rehearse.

Regardless of what you are going through right now, be it a financial, family or job crisis, simply think back and meditate on what God did for you in the past.

There are situations you went through years ago that felt like they would never end and you would not make it through alive; but God was faithful!

If it was disease, He healed you. If it was loss, He comforted you. If it was lack, He provided and made a way when your back was against the wall.

When you face adversity, simply remember those moments and how He helped you through.

No matter how harsh your situation is, get yourself alone and rehearse. “Father you delivered me from the hands of my enemies two years ago…You healed me when the doctor’s report spoke no hope….You provided when no man could meet my need….This situation is no different. If you were faithful then, you are faithful now.”

Don’t wail about what is wrong. Simply rehearse past victories. No matter how small the past testimony is, simply rehearse. That is how faith grows. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: 2 Timothy 2:13, Ephesians 5:20

GOLDEN NUGGET:
Don’t wail about what is wrong. Simply rehearse past victories.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for my life. I thank you for the far that you have brought me and to the places you are taking me. You have been faithful and true. You never failed me. Even as I look to the future, I know that nothing can move me because I have you. You helped me before, you will help me gain. You saved me before, you will save me again. My present is secure. My future is not a mystery. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

PÉPITE D’OR :

Tu m’as aidé avant, tu m’aideras à gagner. Tu m’as sauvé avant, tu me sauveras encore. Mon cadeau est sécurisé. Mon avenir n’est pas un mystère. Au nom de Jésus. Amen.

The Shunammite Fortitude

Apostle Grace Lubega

2 Kings 4:20-26. And when he had taken him, and brought him to his mother, he sat on her knees till noon, and then died. And she went up, and laid him on the bed of the man of God, and shut the door upon him, and went out. And she called unto her husband, and said, Send me, I pray thee, one of the young men, and one of the asses, that I may run to the man of God, and come again. And he said, Wherefore wilt thou go to him to day? it is neither new moon, nor sabbath. And she said, It shall be well…And it came to pass, when the man of God saw her afar off, that he said to Gehazi his servant, Behold, yonder is that Shunammite: Run now, I pray thee, to meet her, and say unto her, Is it well with thee? is it well with thy husband? is it well with the child? And she answered, It is well.

When the Shunammite woman lost her only child, our theme scripture reveals that she did not even disclose it to her husband. She placed the child on a bed in the spare room that they had reserved for Elisha the prophet and went searching for him.

When her husband asked her why she was going in search of the man of God, she only told him, “it shall be well….”

The scriptures go on to reveal that when Elisha saw her from afar off, he told his servant to go on ahead and ask her if all was well with her, her husband and her son. Still, she answered, “it is well.”

That is the attitude of a true believer in adversity! Never once did she admit it in her spirit that her child was dead.

That is why, in the subsequent scripture, Elisha says, “her soul is vexed within her: and the Lord hath hid it from me, and hath not told me.” (1 Kings 4:27).

Because she had not acknowledged it in her spirit, even heaven could not register it. God Himself hid it from Elisha.

Child of God, as long as you have not settled something in your spirit; as long as you have not accepted a situation as true, as long as you have not resigned yourself to a circumstance, heaven has no record of it either.

Stick to your confession of truth. Set your eyes on the victory in Christ. It is well! Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Hebrews 3:14, Hebrews 10:39

GOLDEN NUGGET: As long as you have not resigned yourself to a circumstance, heaven has no record of it either.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for this great knowledge. I am a victor in Christ. Nothing shakes me. Nothing moves me. It is well with me. It is well with my family. It is well with my ministry. It is well with my finances. It is well with my health. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Drawing from the Wells of Salvation

Drawing from the Wells of Salvation
  • Apostle Grace Lubega

Isaiah 12:3 (KJV); Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.

The life of salvation is very easy. Some have complicated it with teachings that it is very hard. No. God did not call you into a life of struggle. He did not die for you into a life of hardship. Salvation is easy!

Does that mean that a child of God never faces difficulties or challenges? Of course not. The Christ said, “in the world you shall have tribulation but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33).

We are the kind that thrive most under pressure. When you get the worst news, you rejoice because you are more than a conqueror(Romans 8:37).

When the doctor says, “you have stage 4 cancer,” dance for God because it is a light affliction that cannot be compared to the glory that must follow(2 Corinthians 4:17).

If you lose your job, lock yourself up in your room and dance for joy, thanking God for the new promotion.

When you lose a multimillion deal, rejoice for the billions that are coming through. Face adversity with joy. That is how we draw from the wells of salvation. Hallelujah!

    FURTHER STUDY: Proverbs 15:15, 1 Peter 1:8

    GOLDEN NUGGET:
God did not call you into a life of struggle. He did not die for you into a life of hardship. Salvation is easy!

PRAYER: Father I thank you for the deep wells of salvation. In them are depths of grace; depths of wisdom; depths of success; depths of favour; depths of glory. Understanding has taught me that with joy, I draw out. My life is easy. I face everything that comes my way with that unspeakable joy. Because I am of a merry heart, I have a continual feast. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Amen.

Honour The Presence Of God

Apostle Grace Lubega

Ephesians 4:30 (KJV); And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

The Holy Spirit will never leave you. The Bible says that by Him have we been sealed unto the day of redemption.

In as much as He can never leave, it is possible to grieve Him, to sadden Him, to vex Him or to offend Him.

I have seen believers who grieve the Spirit because they do not know how to honour His presence in a place.

They chat away in the presence of God; some take to their phones and start meaningless and irrelevant conversations; some wander around aimlessly with no regard to the God in their midst.

How do you respond to the Holy Spirit? How do you act when you see the manifestation of His presence? Learn to always honour Him.

Cultivate a character of reverence to the presence of God because the more you do, the more He will respond to you. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: 2 Chronicles 5:13-14, Revelation 4:10-11

GOLDEN NUGGET:
Cultivate a character of reverence to the presence of God because the more you do, the more He will respond to you.

PRAYER: Father, thank you for this knowledge. Thank you for the privilege of your presence in my life. I am alive to you. At the slightest taste of your presence, I know how to respond. Indifference is far from me because I have cultivated a relationship with you from the many experiences you have allowed me to enjoy. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Give God Time

Revelation 2:4 (KJV); Nevertheless, I have somewhat against thee because thou hast left thy first love.

It is possible to get too involved in ministry and the service of the kingdom and become indifferent to the person of the Spirit. That is what Paul calls being a busy body (2 Thessalonians 3:11).

Some people are so busy ushering, handling machines, cleaning the church etc. but in their pre-occupation, they forget to give God their time.

How often do you simply spend time alone in a room, silent, asking for nothing else but only hungry to hear His voice and to feel His presence?

This ought not to be a one time thing but a present continuous experience of the believer. Never be too busy for God. Give God time.

He is more interested in time spent with you in true fellowship and communion than the time you spend in service to Him.

For some, when they got jobs, God lost His place in their hearts. When some got married, the wife or husband took the place of the Most High.

Let God be your priority. He did not give you a job so it replaces Him. He did not give you a spouse so he or she replaces Him. He is our first love. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Psalms 42:1, Psalms 27:4

GOLDEN NUGGET:
God is our first love.

PRAYER: Father, you are everything I ever needed; my priority, my only option. I live a life of constant communion and fellowship with you and out of that I serve. I can never be indifferent to the person of the Holy Spirit, I am alive to Him in all that I do. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Why We Preach The Grace: The Closed Gospel

Apostle Grace Lubega

Isaiah 61:1-2 (KJV); The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

The Lord Jesus Christ did not come to tell men how angry the Lord God was with them. The mission of the Christ was not to proclaim doom and judgment but the love of God.

In Luke 4, God’s mind is revealed through the actions of the Christ. The Bible says; And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written, The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. And he CLOSED THE BOOK, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down.

Our Lord quoted Isaiah word for word but when he reached the part of proclaiming “the day of vengeance of our God”, he closed the book. Deliberately.

God’s wrath is not the message of the New Testament. His love is. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: 1 John 4:8, Ephesians 3:18-19

GOLDEN NUGGET:
God’s wrath is not the message of the New Testament. His love is.

PRAYER: Father, thank you for the gospel of your grace. Thank you because it is the testimony of your boundless love and mercy toward me. I fellowship with you in the knowledge that your kindness and love toward me is from everlasting to everlasting. I am not a subject of your vengeance. I am a subject of your mercies that are new every morning. What a joy! What a comfort! What a blessed assurance! Glory to your name. Amen.

Ecclesiastes 10:10 (KJV); If the iron be blunt, and he do not whet the edge, then must he put to more strength: but wisdom is profitable to direct.

It is possible for a minister of the gospel to destroy both himself and those who listen to him using the scriptures because he is either unstable or he is unlearned.

The apostle Peter speaks of the Apostle Paul’s epistles and says; there are some things in those [epistles of Paul] that are difficult to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist and misconstrue to their own utter destruction, just as [they distort and misinterpret] the rest of the Scriptures (2 Peter 3:16 AMP).

The Bible has been used by both unlearned and unstable men to justify almost anything. By this, they have destroyed many. But knowing what the scripture says does not mean that you will automatically apply it like you ought.

That is why God says wisdom is the principal thing (Proverbs 4:7). Some people seek justification for their application of the scriptures only from knowledge, yet the principal application of the scriptures is wisdom (Proverbs 4:7).

They say, “it is in the Bible.” Yes, it is in the Bible but how did you apply it? It’s not just the knowledge of it, but the wisdom in the knowledge of it.

Like our theme scripture explains wisdom is profitable to direct. Men lose direction when your application of the scriptures does not reveal or demonstrate wisdom.

If you have a healing anointing, you must apply it in wisdom. If you are a teacher of the word, you must teach in the wisdom of the Spirit. If you must pray, pray in the wisdom of the Spirit. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Luke 7:35, Colossians 1:9

    GOLDEN NUGGET:
If you have a healing anointing, you must apply it in wisdom. If you are a teacher of the Word, you must teach in the wisdom of the Spirit. If you must pray, pray in the wisdom of the Spirit.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you because I am mantled by the wisdoms of eternity. Christ in me is wisdom and all that I do is a testimony of this. I teach in wisdom. I heal men in wisdom. I prophesy in wisdom. By this, I never bring offence to the gospel and to the ministry. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

    ETUDE COMPLEMENTAIRE : Luc 7:35, Colossiens 1:9

Amen.

Understanding The Price of The Gospel

Apostle Grace Lubega

Acts 15:37-39 (KJV) And Barnabas determined to take with them John whose surname was Mark. But Paul thought not good to take him with them, who departed from them from Pamphylia and went not with them to the work. And the contention was so sharp between them, that they departed asunder one from the other and so Barnabas took Mark and sailed unto Cyprus.

The contention between Paul and Barnabas arose because of John Mark who while they were on the mission field deserted them.

When Barnabas suggested that they take him with them on a subsequent mission, Paul was adamant.

Paul was trying to get us to understand that there are people who had been beaten for this gospel; reviled for it; they had spent and been spent for it yet here was John Mark, who woke up one morning and decided to leave.

I have seen many “John Marks” in this gospel. These are people who suddenly decide that they cannot continue with their course for one reason or the other and simply walk away.

But when a man truly loves God, he will seek to finish his course. When a man does not know the price of the gospel, he can easily betray the ministry and in betraying the ministry, he betrays God.

Walking away means that thousands of lives can be affected. Because the degree of the gift upon your life equals to the number of people you are going to save by God.

Men who understand the cost of the gospel can never walk away from it.

FURTHER STUDY: 2 Corinthians 12:15, 2 Corinthians 6:3-5

GOLDEN NUGGET: Men who understand the cost of the gospel can never walk away from it.

PRAYER: Father, I know that there are men who have paid a heavy price for this gospel. They lost family; they were burnt at stakes; they lived as men of whom the world was not worthy for the sake of the gospel. Even in their sacrifice, they laid ancient land marks and left a pattern for me to follow. I understand the price of this gospel. Like the necessity you placed on Paul’s heart, that burden has mantled me and causes me to do things some call foolishness but eternity reads them as the price we must pay for souls. I thank you because you have availed the grace for me to endure through all things for the sake of the kingdom. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
