God’s Secret Agenda

Apostle Grace Lubega

1 Kings 19:13-14, 18 (KJV): And he came thither unto a cave, and lodged there; and, behold, the word of the Lord came to him, and he said unto him, What doest thou here, Elijah? And he said, I have been very jealous for the Lord God of hosts: for the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away… Yet I have left me seven thousand in Israel, all the knees which have not bowed unto Baal, and every mouth which hath not kissed him.

Elijah was convinced that he was the only remaining prophet in the land of Israel. He complained to God that he had been faithful in his service to Him and as the only standing prophet, his life was in grave danger.

God informed him that this was not true because there were seven thousand other prophets that the Lord had preserved for Himself.

Some Christians are like Elijah. They think that they are the only ones who are serving God diligently thus they assume that no one else loves God like they do.

Some think that they know God more than others and it is their knowledge of God that is accurate hence the standard by which we all must know God.

Don’t be deceived. No one owns revelation or holds a patent on the depths of God.

God is raising many whose hearts beat solely after Him. He is pouring out knowledge to those we least expect. Some are in the remotest places and have never been to church but God is at work!

It should not be a cause for envy when we see more and more of these works in our day. In fact when we meet those who know more than us, we should bless God. When we encounter those whom the Lord is using in mighty ways, we shouldn’t be asking whether they follow with us or not; we should rejoice because it is the work of the Lord. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Daniel 12:4, Joel 2:28

GOLDEN NUGGET:
God is raising many whose hearts beat solely after Him. He is pouring out knowledge to those we least expect. Some are in the deepest and remotest places and have never been to church but God is at work! It should not be a cause for envy when we see more and more of these works in our day. In fact when we meet those who know more than us, we should bless God.

PRAYER: Father, thank you for what you are doing in our day! I know you are pouring out knowledge in waves. Lord, my spirit is open to receive it all. Even as you work this in our generation, we can only be grateful. I know that any gaps in divine purpose must be filled. As you raise people to fill them, I am thankful and humbled to be alive in these days. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

The Principle Of Access

Apostle Grace Lubega

Romans 5: 2(KJV): By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Access has principles.

Indeed we have been given all things that pertain to life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3). However, access to these things is governed by certain PRINCIPLES of the Spirit.

Child of God, the primary and most distinctive principle of access is the Spirit of FAITH.

The Bible says that freely we have RECEIVED, freely we give (Matthew 10:8) yet most people read this scripture as “freely we have been given, freely we give.” However, the language of God is: “freely WE HAVE RECEIVED…”

This means that our faith allows us to receive what has already been given.

Saints, what you need is already freely available. You can simply access it by allowing yourself to RECEIVE BY FAITH that which God has availed. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Matthew 10:8, 2 Peter 1:3

GOLDEN NUGGET:
The primary and most distinctive principle of access is the Spirit of FAITH.

PRAYER: My loving God, I know that you have blessed me with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places; you have given me all things that pertain to life and godliness. Oh what a blessed truth! I walk in faith and live as one in the fullness of your promises. My life is patterned after this understanding and pay no regard to any contrary testimony. I live and walk in divine abundance. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Perfection In God

Apostle Grace Lubega

1 Peter 2:9 (AMP): But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a consecrated nation, a [special] people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies [the wonderful deeds and virtues and perfections] of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvellous light.

God’s definition of perfection is different from how people normally define perfection.

According to people, perfection is usually what is pleasantly upright.

That is why many do not understand the notion of God displaying His perfection in an imperfect body. It is such a paradox!

Whenever people define perfection, they usually have a relative understanding of truth despite the fact that truth is supposed to be absolute.

The true definition of perfection in God is when one learns to fully reconcile the person of God with His manifested purpose.

God is a God of purpose. And the fulfilment of His purpose according to His nature or person is what He defines as perfection.

FURTHER STUDY: Matthew 5:48, James 3:2

GOLDEN NUGGET:
God is a God of purpose. And the fulfilment of His purpose according to His nature or person is what He defines as perfection.

PRAYER: Father, thank you for this knowledge. I marvel at the infallible truth that you have called me to display your perfection. Everything that you define as perfect is manifest through me. Whatsoever you define as excellent is manifest through me. I am a standard of greatness to the nations of this world. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

One With God

Apostle Grace Lubega

John 17:21 (KJV): That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

You can never know God by separating yourself from Him.

The beginning of the true knowledge of God is in understanding your oneness with Him.

In fact, like our theme scripture reveals, the world cannot believe or know God until we start to move in and demonstrate this oneness.

Christ is in God, God is in Christ and Christ and God are in you. You are therefore one with God. Embrace this oneness child of God.

It doesn’t matter that you have a human body, God has chosen to make you and Him one and for you to share in His nature; you are not alone.

It doesn’t matter your physical appearance, the God of creation has made a permanent residence in you. In Him you live, move and have your being (Acts 17:28).

Refuse to be normal. Speak and act like you are one with the maker of heaven and earth! Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: 1 Corinthians 6:17, Acts 17:28

GOLDEN NUGGET:
You can never know God by separating yourself from Him. The beginning of the true knowledge of God is in understanding your oneness with Him.

PRAYER: My loving father, what a beautiful truth. In love, you chose that I should be a partaker of your divine nature. You gave me your glory with all that you have and everything that you are. This truth has consumed me and I walk in its consciousness today. I am no ordinary person. I and the Almighty God are one. How can I not be a blessing to multitudes? I am an answer to the questions of those around me because I have fully embraced this truth. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

The Glory Of The New Believer

Apostle Grace Lubega

John 17:22 (KJV): And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

There are three kinds of glory in the scriptures: Glory Kabod, Glory Shekinah and Glory Doxa.

Glory Kabod is the glory of God as seen by things created, for example the rivers, oceans and mountains.

Glory Shekinah is the manifest glory of God besides a man, for example Moses and the burning bush, the separation of the red sea and Elijah calling down fire from heaven.

Glory Doxa is the New Testament dispensational glory that defines you as ONE WITH GOD and seeks to give you all that He is and has.

That is the Glory that Christ has given to the new creature.

God demonstrates all that He is and Has through you.

In every place, you manifest all that God is and has.

If God is love, you manifest love.
If God is healing, you manifest healing.
If God is power, you demonstrate power.

Embrace this fullness. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Romans 1:19, 2 Corinthians 2:14

GOLDEN NUGGET:
God demonstrates all that He is and Has through you. In every place, you manifest all that God is and has. If God is love, you manifest love. If God is healing, you manifest healing. If God is power, you demonstrate power

PRAYER: Father God, it is the perfection of love that you have made me as you are. Love held nothing back! Today, I walk in the full confidence of the glory that you have given me, to demonstrate all that you are and have. What an honour Abba. My Lord, I believe and yield to this truth every day. To the glory of your name. Amen.

The Celestial Minister

Apostle Grace Lubega

1 Corinthians 15:40 (KJV): There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.

There are two sides of ministry for any minister of the gospel.

These are the TERRESTRIAL minister and the CELESTIAL minister.

The terrestrial minister only ministers as far as the words spoken by his lips can go.

The celestial minister goes beyond what can be articulated in human language.

The doors of utterance in the Spirit are accessed from a celestial and not a terrestrial plane.

God does not want your ministry to be limited to what you do in your physical body as you stand before men to speak.

Your ministry must extend to those things that are beyond the limitations of the physical body.

When you speak, you ought to impart through more than just the spoken word.

When you lay hands, it is not just the physical laying on of hands, you have spiritual hands too and this is by your celestial being.

What a liberty, glory to God!

FURTHER STUDY: 2 Corinthians 5:1, Romans 1:11

GOLDEN NUGGET:
The terrestrial minister can only minister as far as the words spoken by his lips can go. The celestial minister goes beyond what can be articulated in human language.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for this wonderful knowledge. What a great truth to know that you have given me abilities beyond my physical body. This is by your grace because you desire that I reach many outside my physical boundaries. I believe this truth Lord. I make the choice by faith to walk in the manifestation of this reality because it is part of the liberties of the Spirit and the privileges of the new man in Christ. I thank you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Understanding The Celestial

Apostle Grace Lubega

1 Corinthians 15:40 (KJV): There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.

There are Christians who look to the satisfaction of terrestrial need only: food for the belly, clothes for the body or a place to stay among others.

Their entire existence on the earth is framed by the need to satisfy the body.

But the Bible tells us that we have both celestial (spiritual) and terrestrial (physical) bodies.

Paul calls the celestial body “the building of God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.”(2 Corinthians 5:1).

We are more than just the physical entity that people see.

We must know how to separate the needs of the terrestrial from those of the celestial.

This is part of the wisdom required in every child of God to separate the lawful from the expedient (1 Corinthians 6:12).

Let us learn from our Master, Jesus.

When He was on the earth, He had access to anything if He chose to have it, but because He was conscious of the fact that there was more to Him than the terrestrial, He was alive to the needs of the celestial.

Look at how He expressed himself.
“Man shall not live by bread alone…” (Matthew 4:4)

“My meat is to do the will of the Father who sent me.” (John 4:34).

“Store up treasures in heaven where neither moth nor rust can corrupt it” (Matthew 6:20).

This ought to be our pattern. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: 2 Corinthians 5:1, 2 Corinthians 5:4

GOLDEN NUGGET:
We are more than just the physical entity that people see. We must know how to separate the needs of the terrestrial from those of the celestial.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for this divine truth. Indeed, because I find in myself desires that nothing in this world can satisfy, I know that I was made for another world. Through your Word, you have opened me to the truth that I am indeed an eternal being, I am more than just my physical body. I look to your Word because it is eternal and in it I find my sustenance. In it, I see the paths of everlasting life. In it, I see the perfection that satisfies more than the flesh. In Jesus’s name. Amen.

The Wisdom Of Esau

Apostle Grace Lubega

Genesis 25:27-28(KJV): And the boys grew: and Esau was a cunning hunter, a man of the field; and Jacob was a plain man, dwelling in tents. And Isaac loved Esau, because he did eat of his venison: but Rebekah loved Jacob.

Jacob was highly favored by God (Genesis 25:23).

However, simply because he was ordained by God to be greater than Esau did not mean that there is nothing to learn from Esau.

Despite the fact that he was cheated of the blessing (Genesis 27), Esau later turned out to be a great success and there are reasons for this (Genesis 33:9).

Esau is a pattern to us because he did not need fourteen years under the harshness of Laban in order to learn his lessons (Genesis 31).

What does this tell us?

There are things in the spirit that responded to Jacob while there are also things in the spirit that favoured Esau.

And as a child of God, you must know the principles that work for both kinds of men.

Esau was a hard worker, a man who understood the virtue in labour.

As children of God, it is important to be hard workers. In your work place, be the best performer.

If it is school, don’t just pass, excel. If it is prayer, pray hard! If it is study of the Word, read it like your life depends on it because it does!

Another lesson from Esau is the fact that he knew how to cook his father’s venison.

This is an important principle for every Christian: know the things that please those who have authority over you, whether, biological or spiritual.

Know the things that please the arm that feeds you, such as your boss.

Above all, you must be intimately acquainted with the things that bless our heavenly Father God’s heart. What does He love? Do those things.

You must have the wisdom of both Esau and of Jacob; BELIEVE like Jacob [in the grace that favoured you without your works] but LIVE like Esau [after the pattern of the principles that made him a success].

Believe in the blessing of God that makes rich and adds no sorrow (Proverbs 10:22) but you must also have the “wisdom to hunt and cook venison”.

FURTHER STUDY: Genesis 31, Genesis 27

GOLDEN NUGGET:
You must have the wisdom of both Esau and of Jacob; (BELIEVE like Jacob but LIVE like Esau [after the pattern of the principles that made him a success].
Believe in the blessing of God that makes rich and adds no sorrow but you must also have the “wisdom to hunt and cook venison.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for this great wisdom. I thank you for your grace and the abundant favour upon my life; that which gives me an added advantage over those of this world. Abba, I thank you for instruction that causes me never to take your grace in vain. I am grateful because you continually teach me those priceless principles that mould me into a great person. When the world looks for those that know their fields, for the hard workers and for men of integrity, I will stand out, not to be counted among the number but as one in my own league. I stand in the blessed and steadfast assurance that I cannot fail. I go upward and upward only. My story is great. I will finish well. To the glory of your name. Amen.

Wisdom For The Submitted Christian

Apostle Grace Lubega

1 Corinthians 11:1 (KJV): Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.

WISDOM FOR THE SUBMITTED CHRISTIAN

The instructions of your spiritual authority must always be submitted to the Word of God.

In the church of Christ today, it is sad to see some Christians exalting what is spoken by pastors, apostles, prophets or any spiritual authority above what God says.

Succinctly, it is this thinking and attitude that makes ‘God’ of the minister instead of Jehovah. It is therefore contrary to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

No man of God died for your sins only Jesus the Messiah did. So listen to your man of God but only according to truth!

Don’t perish because of him or her. Follow him or her as he or she follows Christ.

Christ is the standard. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Ephesians 5:1-2, Hebrews 6:12

GOLDEN NUGGET:

The instructions of your spiritual authority must be submitted to the Word of God. Follow him or her as he or she follows Christ. Christ is the standard!

PRAYER: My God, I thank you so much for this wisdom. Lord, these truths in their simplicity and firmness preserve the Church and minister to us in the ways that grow us and make us accountable in the eyes of the many that study our patterns every day. You’ve taught me submission but you have also taught me the pattern of submission. It can only be in accordance to your Word and after Christ. My life is framed by this knowledge to the glory of your name. Amen.

Wisdom In The Liberties

Apostle Grace Lubega

1 Corinthians 6:12 (KJV): All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.

The law of liberty has given us access to many things in God.

However, this liberty must be exercised with caution.

The caution here, beloved saint, is that these lawful things may put one under their power.

It means that when the laws of the Spirit favour you and give you certain things, those things may divert you from your divinely ordained course.

The laws of the Spirit will favour you to have money but will money have power over you?

The laws of the Spirit will favour you to have a car but will that car become your god?

The laws of the Spirit will give you a wonderful ministry but will the ministry have power over you?

Will you feel exalted above measure and lose the pattern of the course of your life simply because God added a million dollars to your account?

No, it is not for you, child of grace to be brought under the power of the laws that favour you.

Your spirit has the stability to contain the blessings of God and everything that comes with them. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Deuteronomy 32:15, 1 Corinthians 10:23

GOLDEN NUGGET:

It is not for you child of grace to be brought under the power of the laws that favour you. Your spirit has the stability to contain the blessings of God and everything that comes with them.

PRAYER: My God, I thank you because you have blessed me exceedingly and abundantly. I have open access to my divine inheritance. But Father, I choose not to be brought under the power of any of these things. Blessing is an opportunity to serve you even more. Everything you give is a tool for the gospel. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

The Fatness Of The Anointing

Apostle Grace Lubega

Isaiah 10:27 (AMP): So it will be in that day, that the burden of the Assyrian will be removed from your shoulders and his yoke from your neck. The yoke will be BROKEN BECAUSE OF THE FAT.

The anointing of God upon our lives has degrees and each of us functions according to the degree of that anointing that is at work within us.

Our theme scripture describes this as FATNESS and the yoke is broken because of the fat.

Here is an allegory.
Imagine a yoke tied around the neck of an animal. If that animal fattens and increases in size, it means that the yoke can no longer hold it.

So it is with the believer.

As you continue to yield to God and allow Him to work through you, you get to a point where certain yokes simply start to break off because they can no longer hold you.

As you grow, the fatness of the oil cannot allow certain yokes.

It doesn’t matter whether your family has a history of bareness; of terminal illness or of poverty.

Simply stir up the anointing, deliverance will come.

Stir up the anointing, change will come.

Understand the anointing, you will stand before kings.

The yoke is broken BECAUSE of the fatness. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: 1 John 4:4, Romans 8:10-11

GOLDEN NUGGET:
The anointing has degrees and each of us functions according to the degree of the anointing at work upon our lives.

PRAYER: My loving father, I am thankful for this Word. I grow in the anointing and also increase the anointing upon my life. I thank you because of the transformation in my life as I continue to yield to your power. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

The Fourth Man In The Fire

Apostle Grace Lubega

Daniel 3:23-25 (KJV): And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonished, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king. He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.

Before Shadrach, Mesach and Abednego were thrown into the fire, the king had commanded that the furnace be heated seven times more! (Daniel 3:19).

These fearless men were then cast into the fire.

When it was expected that this blazing fire would reduce them to meaningless ashes, a fourth man appeared in the fire!

The fourth man, Jesus, is a consuming fire; He is too hot and it took a certain degree of heat in that furnace for Him to appear.

Never be afraid of the fires that men build to incinerate you! That is the very place Jesus will appear.

It does not matter how hot it burns. That fire, that circumstance that looks like it will consume you alive is the very opportunity God is waiting for to show up on your behalf.

In that fire, men will look at you and know that you are not alone for God is with you!

In that fiery storm, your enemies will examine your life and declare that Jehovah God is truly on your side!

What was set up to destroy you is the very thing with which you will demonstrate the everlasting faithfulness, love, kindness and power of the Almighty God. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Isaiah 43:2, Hebrews 12:29

GOLDEN NUGGET:

Never be afraid of the fires that men build to incinerate you! That is the very place Jesus will appear. What was set up to destroy you is the very thing with which you will demonstrate the everlasting faithfulness, love, kindness and power of the Almighty God.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for today’s Word. What a comfort to know that no matter how hot the flames, you are always with me. These are the convictions of Emmanuel–the knowledge that God is with me. How can I be afraid of circumstances when you can never let any fire consume me or any waters drown me? I don’t care how hot the furnace might be, I have God. I can never be defeated, I can never be consumed. Victory is my story. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
