At The End Of Perfection: Death

At The End Of Perfection: Death

Apostle Grace Lubega

Psalms 119:96 (KJV), I have seen an end of all perfection: but thy commandment is exceeding broad.

One day, while David was waiting on the Lord, God carried him by the Spirit and took him to the end of all perfection.

When he reached the edge of perfection, he found the Word. It means that understanding the broadness of the Word begins when God takes you to the end of all perfection.

What happens to a man who reaches this end? Why is this experience important to you as a believer?

When a man is in this experience, God kills lust.

This lust has been summed up as “the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh and the pride of life.”(1 John 2:16).

These three are the sum total of the force of carnal desire for any man in the world.
The Bible says they are not of the Father.

God knows that if a lusting man is exposed to the beauty of the things of God, he may destroy both himself and those to whom he ministers.

At the end of all perfection, God (the Word) becomes your ultimate satisfaction.

You lose an attachment to anything in this world and can easily give it up if it stands in the way of your relationship with God.

FURTHER STUDY: Ecclesiastes 1:2, 1 John 2:16

GOLDEN NUGGET:

At the end of all perfection, God (the Word) becomes your ultimate satisfaction.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you because of the experience of beholding the end of all perfection. At this end, I see the broadness of your Word and this revelation opens me to greater worlds than I have seen before. Because I have this understanding, the worlds to come are submitted to me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

At The Testimony Of Two Or Three Witnesses

At The Testimony Of Two Or Three Witnesses
[restabs alignment=”osc-tabs-left” responsive=”false” tabcolor=”#81d742″ seltabcolor=”#eeee22″] [restab title=”English” active=”active”]

Apostle Grace Lubega

Deuteronomy 19:15(KJV), One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established.

By divine principle, at the testimony of two or more witnesses, any matter is established.

If the soul and the spirit agree, that on which they agree is established.

If the body and the soul agree, that on which they agree is established.

For example, the body may feel pain so strongly that a man concludes in his mind that he is sick. That is his soul in agreement with his body.

If his soul wins over his spirit and he admits in his heart that he is sick and even confesses this with his mouth, this is the testimony of three witnesses. Sickness then becomes a fact in his spirit, soul and body.

This is so not just with disease but your finances, marriage, job status or any other situation in your life.

What is important is for you to rule your spirit.

To rule your spirit means that regardless of what the body and soul say, your spirit clings to the testimony of victory.

As long as it has not crossed over to the side of the soul or the body, it will eventually neutralize the testimony of the flesh and win over your soul. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Proverbs 18:14, Romans 8:13

GOLDEN NUGGET

To rule your spirit means that regardless of what the body and soul say, your spirit clings to the testimony of victory.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you because my spirit is ruled. It can never incline to the demands of the flesh or the soul. By the spirit, I destroy every transaction of the flesh and prevail over any attack of the enemy. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Be Delivered From People: Hearing God’s Voice

Be Delivered From People: Hearing God’s Voice

Apostle Grace Lubega

1 Kings 22:6-9; Then the king of Israel gathered the prophets together, about four hundred men, and said unto them, Shall I go against Ramoth-gilead to battle, or shall I forbear? And they said, Go up; for the Lord shall deliver it into the hand of the king. And Jehoshaphat said, Is there not here a prophet of the Lord besides, that we might inquire of him? And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, There is yet one man, Micaiah the son of Imlah, by whom we may inquire of the Lord: but I hate him; for he doth not prophesy good concerning me, but evil. And Jehoshaphat said, Let not the king say so. Then the king of Israel called an officer, and said, Hasten hither Micaiah the son of Imlah.

In our theme scripture, about four hundred prophets gave King Jehoshaphat a go ahead to battle.

Only Micaiah gave a contrary Word (I Kings 22:14-18). In fact, he was despised for his genuine prophecies.

He might have been swayed by the words of so many against his but he spoke his heart when asked to because he was sure he had heard God.

This here is a lesson on integrity and how you ought to live your life.

Many people holding the same view may give you pause on whether you heard God or not.

However, keep in mind that God’s view is not necessarily the majority’s view. When you are sure you have heard God, you should never feel obligated to follow what the multitude thinks He has said.

Be content with who you are and your standing with Him for with contentment comes gain (1 Timothy 6:6).

This contentment is confidence, assurance and an absolute conviction about the faithfulness of God.

FURTHER STUDY: 1 Timothy 6:6, I Kings 22:14-18

GOLDEN NUGGET

When you are sure you have heard God, you should never feel obligated to follow what the multitude thinks He has said.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for your Word. I am liberated from the opinions of men; I walk by the conviction of your Spirit in me. When you speak, I keep the integrity of what you have said above all that those around me think and assume. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Approved of God

Approved of God

Apostle Grace Lubega

2 Timothy 2:15 (KJV), Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

As a child of God, never allow room for any insecurities in your life.

Insecurity places a demand on you to perform without purpose to please men yet your primary approval is by the Holy Ghost.

Study the Word for yourself and not for people to please.

Serve, worship and pray to God even without an audience. This life is about you and Him, not you and them.

There is a place in Him where the opinions of men (bad or good) make no difference because they do not qualify your relationship with God or the distinction of the sound coming out of your spirit.

Allow God to deal with how you respond to what others think of you.

He will take you to a place where neither the negative nor positive opinions of men move you. You will stand before the God who called you bold.

FURTHER STUDY: 1 Corinthians 10:29, Proverbs 29:25

GOLDEN NUGGET:
Allow God to deal with how you respond to what others think of you. He will take you to a place where neither the negative nor positive opinions of men move you. You will stand before the God who called you bold.

PRAYER: Father, I am grateful for your Word. I am free in Christ and not bound by the consciences of other men. I am content with who I am in you. I will not be swayed off my course simply by what others think of me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Of Impartations

Apostle Grace Lubega

1 Corinthians 2:6 (AMP), Yet when we are among the full-grown (spiritually mature Christians who are ripe in understanding), we do impart a [higher] wisdom (the knowledge of the divine plan previously hidden); but it is indeed not a wisdom of this present age or of this world nor of the leaders and rulers of this age, who are being brought to nothing and are doomed to pass away.

There are three kinds of ministers in our theme scripture; there are those who impart the higher wisdom, the mature who receive the impartation and those who receive from the mature that are imparted into.

For example, in the scriptures, Paul imparted into Apollos (a mature minister). Later on, the same Apollos taught many who received from what had been imparted into him.

This impartation of the higher wisdom is received by those with understanding. For “wisdom resteth in the heart of him that hath understanding” (Proverbs 14:33).

It is up to you to grow into the kind of minister you were ordained to be. But remember, with whichever choice you make comes great responsibility: it is required that you be a faithful steward of what you have received.

What is this faithfulness? The faithfulness is in understanding the efficacy of the Word; the person of Christ as revealed in the Word and your part in the gospel.

When you are established in the understanding of these three, you will profit those to whom you minister. Praise God!

FURTHER STUDY: Proverbs 14:33, 1 Corinthians 4:2

GOLDEN NUGGET

The impartation of higher wisdom is received by those with understanding. For “wisdom resteth in the heart of him that hath understanding” (Proverbs 14:33).

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for this knowledge. I receive an impartation of a higher wisdom and embrace the responsibility of this revelation. I am a faithful steward. I allow this Word to work in me; I launch deeper into the revelation of the Christ and I fully function in my part and lot in this gospel. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Living In And By The Spirit

Living In And By The Spirit

Apostle Grace Lubega

Galatians 5:25 (KJV), If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

Fellowship with God is in the spirit. The soul and the body are simply parts of you that aid this fellowship; they are not the central entities by which you relate with Him.

Life may get busy: the demands of work, ministry, school or marriage have the tendency to occupy both your mind and body. But, this should not prevent constant communion with God.

How then can you keep in continuous fellowship with God?

You do this by training your spirit to function in the realm of God even when your body and soul are engaged. This comes by meditation in the word.

When you do so, you will always be tuned to receive instruction from Him.

You won’t need to first pray for hours to open blind eyes, heal broken bones or to prophesy. You can do all this at any time and in any place because you are alive unto God.

FURTHER STUDY: Romans 8:13, Ephesians 6:18

GOLDEN NUGGET

Train your spirit to function in the realm of God even when your body and soul are engaged. This comes by meditation in the word.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for the grace by which I am constantly in fellowship with you. I am alive unto you because I have learned how to live a yielded life. In every place, state and time, my spirit is ready to receive your instructions. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

When Your Days Are Numbered

Apostle Grace Lubega

Psalms 90:12 (KJV), So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.

As a child of God, you must allow Him to teach you to number your days.

What does it mean for your days to be numbered?

The numbering is not only in the sense that you will live for seventy, eighty or a hundred years. This may be a part of it.

More importantly, it means that every milestone of your destiny is clearly aligned in your spirit.

These milestones are the critical moments in your life in which God takes you from one level to another.

They will go as far as when you will start ministry; when you will meet certain key individuals from whom you must receive an impartation etc.

When your days are numbered, God takes you to the end of things to reveal the patterns you must follow.

As a minister of the gospel, when you return from such an experience, it is only to take people where you have been. That is called building a posterity.

We live our lives in the physical according to the testimony of our spiritual experiences.

FURTHER STUDY: Psalms 119:96, Ecclesiastes 3:11

GOLDEN NUGGET

We live our lives in the physical according to the testimony of our spiritual experiences.

PRAYER: Father, I am grateful for your Word. I carry the wisdom by which men number their days. My present is past because I have been to the end. I understand the milestones of my destiny and live accurately according to the pattern set out for me by the blue print of eternal purpose. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

In His Presence: Why We Pray

In His Presence: Why We Pray

Apostle Grace Lubega

Jeremiah 33:1-3(KJV), Moreover the word of the Lord came unto Jeremiah the second time, while he was yet shut up in the court of the prison, saying, Thus saith the Lord the maker thereof, the Lord that formed it, to establish it; the Lord is his name; Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

God appeared to Jeremiah while he was in prison and instructed him thus, “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.”

It was an easy thing for God to get him out of prison but, his chains were not the issue. His concern was that Jeremiah should pray that He (God) show him great and mighty things.

What does this teach us? When you go into the presence of God, forget your problems and hunger for the hidden things in Him.

Turn your eyes and ears to Him until the things of this world grow strangely deem: until any issue affecting your life becomes insignificant in the light of the great revelations He releases to your spirit.

What a blessing to be a steward of eternity’s greatest secrets.

FURTHER STUDY: Colossians 3:1, 2 Corinthians 4:18

GOLDEN NUGGET:
When you go into the presence of God, forget your problems and hunger for the hidden things in Him.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for your instruction on prayer. I seek you for the things that are fenced in; the depths that define who you are; the great and mighty things that I do not know of. None of my circumstances can take me off this course. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Of Finding The Word

Of Finding The Word

Apostle Grace Lubega

Proverbs 4:20-22 (KJV), My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh

Every time you listen to or study the Word is an opportunity to walk in the spirit.

This walk is a journey of discovery because His words “are life unto those that FIND them.”

David explained the experience of finding the word this way; “I rejoice at thy word, as one that findeth great spoil.” (Psalms 119:162).

He opened the Word and as he studied it, he discovered a beautiful truth or a new place in God and rejoiced as one who had found treasure.

This is a lesson to us on how to handle the Word. Don’t just read it.

Treat it as an adventure with the Holy Spirit through which you will discover great gems.

When you do so, His revelations will become pearls to you (Matthew 7:6). You will not trample on them or “rend to pieces” He who gave them to you.

You will always deeply honour the God who revealed His heart to you.

FURTHER STUDY: Job 23:12, Psalms 119:103

GOLDEN NUGGET:

Everytime you listen to or study the Word is an opportunity to walk in the spirit. This walk is a journey of discovery.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for your Word; the entirety of divine wisdom revealed to my spirit. I esteem it more than necessary food. It is sweeter to me than honey. In it, I discover countless treasures to which nothing material may be compared. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Of Forms Of Godliness

Of Forms Of Godliness
[restabs alignment=”osc-tabs-left” responsive=”false” tabcolor=”#81d742″ seltabcolor=”#eeee22″] [restab title=”English” active=”active”]

Apostle Grace Lubega

2 Timothy 3:5(KJV), Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

God is a Spirit (John 4:24). Any acts in worship and service to Him must primarily be in the spirit.

Sometimes, things done in the soulish or fleshly realm are misunderstood to be done by the spirit man simply because they appear spiritual.

These actions (which appear spiritual yet are not) are what the Bible calls “forms of godliness.”

Forms of godliness are outward pretensions of ‘men under godly experiences,’ but without inward affirmations of the truths that yield the very experiences.

For example, service to God may have a “form of godliness” if not done in spirit.

Paul explains and says, “For God is my witness, whom I serve WITH MY SPIRIT in the gospel of his Son…”(Romans 1:9).

People who serve with a “form of godliness” are what the Bible calls busy bodies (2 Thessalonians 3:11).

Our theme scripture reveals that when you have a form of godliness, you deny the power of God and His Word.

The power lies in the true experiences of the spirit with God.

So, invest your spirit in everything you do in the gospel. That is the source of true worship and service to God.

FURTHER STUDY: Romans 1:9, 2 Thessalonians 3:11

GOLDEN NUGGET

Forms of godliness are outward pretensions of ‘men under godly experiences,’ but without inward affirmations of the truths that yield the very experiences.

PRAYER: Father, thank you for the power of the gospel. It is not just in the forms but in the experiences of the spirit. My spirit is invested in everything that I do. I worship, serve and pray with my spirit. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Amen.

In His Presence: Taught To Abide

In His Presence: Taught To Abide
[restabs alignment=”osc-tabs-left” responsive=”false” tabcolor=”#81d742″ seltabcolor=”#eeee22″] [restab title=”English” active=”active”]

Apostle Grace Lubega

1 John 2:27(KJV), But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

The primary ministry of the Holy Spirit is to teach you.

The more He teaches you the more you abide in Him; the more you learn from Him, the deeper the desire for His presence, for “even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.”

But how does the Spirit teach?

His teaching and instructions start from the simplest issues of your life. It may be as basic as “make your bed…” “pick up that piece of paper you threw besides the trash can…” “call this sister and find out how she is doing…”

The more faithful you are to these slight impressions of the Spirit, the more He trusts you with greater instructions.

Exercise your spirit to respond to Him. As you grow, He will teach you greater things in God: how to demonstrate His power; how to heal disease; how to intercede for nations; how to draw multitudes. Praise Him!

FURTHER STUDY: Romans 8:14, John 16:13

GOLDEN NUGGET

The more the Holy Spirit teaches you the more you abide in Him.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for the instruction of your Spirit. It causes me to be continuously present and alive unto you. I have a constant divine consciousness of who you are. My spiritual reflexes are sharpened and I respond to your every prompting. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Amen.

Attend To The House Of God

Attend To The House Of God

Apostle Grace Lubega

Haggai 1:9 (KJV), Ye looked for much, and, lo, it came to little; and when ye brought it home, I did blow upon it. Why? saith the Lord of hosts. Because of mine house that is waste, and ye run every man unto his own house.

The gospel is the life of the Christian; any ambitions outside it, when weighed on the scales of divine purpose amount to nothing.

In John 15:5, our Lord said, “I am the vine and ye are the branches: He that abideth in me and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.”

What you do in this life only makes sense when you are in Him.

So, invest in the gospel and your personal spiritual growth because what you do within the boundaries of the gospel is what counts.

Paul explains it this way: He says in Romans 1:1, “Paul a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God.”

The word for separated herein is “aphorizo” which means “set apart by boundary.”

He was set apart as an apostle to function entirely within the boundaries of the gospel.

You may not be a preacher like Apostle Paul or stand on the pulpit before multitudes to teach them.

But, even if you are a career person, be a career person set apart for the gospel; be a business person set apart for the gospel; be a professional set apart for the gospel.

Fix your priorities and attend to God’s house.

GOLDEN NUGGET

Invest in the gospel and your personal spiritual growth because what you do within the boundaries of the gospel is what counts.

PRAYER: God I thank you for the gospel; the good news by which many sons have been called to glory; the power of God unto salvation; the wisdom that brings the wisdom of this world to nothing. I honour it above all things: it is the center of my life and my priorities are fixed on it. It is my primary profession and in it, I serve with all diligence and faithfulness. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
