Love, The Revealed Experience

Apostle Grace Lubega

Ephesians 3:19 (AMP): And [that you may come] to know [practically, through personal experience] the love of Christ which far surpasses [mere] knowledge [without experience], that you may be filled up [throughout your being] to all the fullness of God [so that you may have the richest experience of God’s presence in your lives, completely filled and flooded with God Himself].

Love is an experience.

There are some that claim to love God but don’t really love Him. When they say they love Him, it is because it sounds like a good thing to say or they heard it in a song.

But when you truly examine their spirits, such people are very far from the true definition of love.

You can never understand God’s love without the experience of it.

When your love relationship starts from the place of experience, it is then that you will start to truly know God.

Your relationship ceases to comprise of one sided conversations and becomes a deep friendship which is a two way street; you responding to God and God responding to you.

Seek love, the revealed experience. When you receive it, God substitutes all your pleasures with Himself.

The things that used to give you joy, if they are not of God will nolonger give you that joy because you have truly fallen in love with God.

FURTHER STUDY: Psalms 16:11, 1 John 4:8

GOLDEN NUGGET:
Love is an experience. You can never understand God’s love without the experience of it.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for your love; it is the depth in depth; the breadth in breadth; the height in height. It fills all things and saturates every area of my life. Today I choose to walk in the deep assurance that I am sincerely and overwhelmingly loved by you and that nothing can ever separate me from this love. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

An Open Invitation

Apostle Grace Lubega

Song of Solomon 1:4 (KJV): Draw me, we will run after thee: the king hath brought me into his chambers: we will be glad and rejoice in thee, we will remember thy love more than wine: the upright love thee.

Solomon speaks of an intimate relationship between the King and His love, which represents the relationship between Christ and each one of us, His bride the Church.

He says, “Draw me, we will run after thee: the king hath brought me into his chambers.”

This starts with an invitation from God Almighty; it is He who draws us.

You can never have a proper relationship with God without understanding that it is He who invites you into His chambers rather than you inviting yourself.

God wants you to relate with Him based on your response to His invitation.

Go into the presence of God with the knowledge that He invited you and eagerly awaits to spend time with you.

Have the constant expectation that with this open invitation, God delights in communing with you.

This is what makes prayer A LOVE AFFAIR! Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: John 6:44, Hosea 11:4

GOLDEN NUGGET:
God wants you to relate with Him based on your response to His invitation. Go into the presence of God with the knowledge that He invited you and eagerly awaits to spend time with you.

PRAYER: My loving father, thank you for the open invitation into your courts. Boldly, I come to the throne of grace knowing that you are my audience and I have your attention. I delight in basking in your presence because of the things you make me feel. Thank you for your love, for the things you reveal and for the constant and absolute pleasure of simply being with you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Why We Preach The Grace: The Pleasure Principle

Apostle Grace Lubega

Psalms 16:11 (KJV): Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

Pleasure is more often than not, greater than pain.

I wish you to understand the power of pleasure from this simple example.

A man might be diagnosed with lung cancer because of a consistent smoking problem. He may even be told that if he keeps up the habit, he will surely die. I assure you that this man may not necessarily stop smoking because of the threat to his life.

This is because at this point, the pleasure of smoking is greater than the pain of death.

When pleasure takes over the senses of a man, it does not matter how much pain he may suffer.

Look at the people who inject drugs into their bodies; they may do this several times a day with no regard to pain because of the subsequent pleasure of it.

You can never deliver such a man from his addiction until you substitute this pleasure with another pleasure.

Don’t be deceived into thinking that you can substitute pleasure with pain, that’s a waste of time.

You can never beat or shame a man out of his carnal pleasure.

You can only change him by introducing a higher pleasure–Jesus Christ, who is the ultimate pleasure of our souls.

He gives the drug addict a greater ‘high.’

He intoxicates the drunkard with the sweeter wine of the Holy Spirit.

Praise God!

FURTHER STUDY: Psalms 36:7-8, Proverbs 2:10

GOLDEN NUGGET:
You can never beat or shame a man out of his pleasure. You can only change him by introducing a higher pleasure–Jesus Christ, who is the ultimate pleasure of our souls.

PRAYER: Father God, you are my delight and the lover of my soul. I joy in who you are every day of my life. The knowledge of who you are has taken over my soul and nothing satisfies like you. Each day I bask in the wonder of simply knowing you, for nothing matters like this greatest of joys.
Thank you my Lord.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Life And Immortality To Light

Apostle Grace Lubega

2 Timothy 1:10 (KJV):…But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.

It is one thing to have the revelation of life, to understand that the life of God is in you and that it revitalises your mortal body and kills the transactions of the flesh but it is another to have the revelation of both life and immortality.

This is the purpose of the gospel!

Our theme scripture says that it has brought life and immortality to light.

It means that through the gospel we have received the revelation of both the life of God and the fact that anything we do under the operation of that life is immortal.

Without this revelation, people walk in the darkness of two things: the fear that some thing will die and the further fear that if it dies, it will not revive again.

Child of eternity, not only do you have the God life but whatsoever you do and have in God is immortal. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Matthew 24:35, John 10:10

GOLDEN NUGGET:

Through the gospel we have received the revelation of both the life of God and the fact that anything we do under the operation of that life is immortal.

PRAYER: My loving God, I thank you for this day. I am grateful for this revelation and the weight of this truth! Oh, how great is this understanding! I have the life of the Spirit and whatsoever I do and touch will never die. My ministry, vision and everything about my life demonstrates the life of God but deeper than that, they will never die. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

The Miraculous Faculty

Apostle Grace Lubega

Romans 1:11 (KJV): For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established;

In our theme scripture, the word used for “gift” is charisma, which among other things, is translated to mean, a “miraculous faculty”.

Paul sought to impart in the church a faculty and not just the product of the faculty. He sought to impart a miraculous faculty rather than to simply perform miracles amidst them; to show them how to fish rather than give them fish; to make them suppliers of spiritual things rather than just receivers of them.

Saints, it is maturity to place a demand on the faculty as opposed to just what the faculty can do.

So, child of God, don’t just ask for a job, get something that causes jobs to look for you. Don’t ask for fish, ask for how to fish. Don’t ask for healing, ask for what makes you heal. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Matthew 4:19, 1 Corinthians 2:6

GOLDEN NUGGET:
Child of God, don’t ask for a job, get something that causes jobs to look for you. Don’t ask for fish, ask for how to fish. Don’t ask for healing, ask for what makes you heal.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for this day. Thank you for your instruction on how to pray and the things that define how I must seek you. Today, I choose to place a demand on the things that make men; the things that distinguish us in substance. To the glory of your name. Amen.

To Feel After God

To Feel After God

Apostle Grace Lubega

Acts 17:27(KJV): That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:

As Christians, sometimes we are selfish in our pursuit of God because we seek Him for our personal needs and gratification.

Someone is asking for the anointing and the grace to flow in the miraculous simply for his own benefit so that he or she may be seen as being powerful.

Where is the feeling after God?

Where is compassion?

Instead of panting for the anointing and the power to heal or to demonstrate the Spirit, ask yourself, ‘Do I feel His compassion? Do I love like Jesus loves?

This is because that is the very reason Jesus heals; the very reason He wins souls; the very reason He casts out devils.

I weep for the generation that does not want this love but wants its products!

Until you truly start to feel after God, you will never be able to die for the cause of what God is doing in this day.

You may be attracted to its glory and yet be too alive in the flesh to die for it.

FURTHER STUDY: 2 Corinthians 12:15, Matthew 14:14

GOLDEN NUGGET:

Until you truly start to feel after God, you will never be able to die for the cause of what God is doing in this day. You may be attracted to its glory and yet be too alive in the flesh to die for it.

PRAYER: My loving God, I thank you for this Word. My heart is on the altar this day and yield to the working of your grace and Spirit. You cause me to love like you do, see things like you see them and desire what your heart desires. Out of the abundance of what you do in me, I minister. To the glory of your name. Amen.

To Be Dealt With By God

Apostle Grace Lubega

Romans 15:18 (MSG): I have no interest in giving you a chatty account of my adventures, only the wondrously powerful and transformingly present words and deeds of Christ in me that triggered a believing response among the outsiders.

There is a difference between what God does IN a man and what He does THROUGH a man.

You may heal the sick and stay sick; you can cast out demons and stay demonised. You may teach wealth and be poor.

The grace of God that causes men to respond to the message you preach both in word and in deed comes when a man ministers from what God has done IN him.

What isn’t coming from what God has done and placed within you cannot reproduce a grace to work in another man’s life.

As a Christian who seeks to grow, you ought to be more focused on what God works in you than what He works through you. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Galatians 6:17, John 21:18

GOLDEN NUGGET:
The grace of God that causes men to respond to the message you preach both in word and in deed comes when a man ministers from what God has done IN him.

PRAYER: My loving God I thank you for the life you have given me and the great call you have ordained me for. Thank you because you are dealing with me every day and working in me the character of the Spirit: integrity, diligence, faithfulness, fortitude and the many things that set me apart as a child of God.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Revive Or Offend

Apostle Grace Lubega

1 Corinthians 1:18 (KJV): For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

The gospel operates two way: it either revives or offends.

The scripture says that it is foolishness to those that are perishing but is the power of God to us that are saved.

Some people are so concerned with saying the “right things” and in doing so, they compromise the message of the gospel.

They fear to offend certain groups of people in the name of being “sensitive.”

Some have gone so far as to never mention God in their own version of the gospel because we must be religiously “tolerant.”

This compromise in itself amounts to being unequally yoked.

If you are neither reviving nor offending by the message you preach then you are most probably being political.

We have not been called to diplomatic neutrality in this gospel. We have been called to preach Christ dead and resurrected.

We lift up Jesus at all times and in all things because He is the answer. Praise Him!

FURTHER STUDY: 2 Corinthians 2:15-16, Jude 1:3

GOLDEN NUGGET:
The gospel operates two way: it either revives or offends.

PRAYER: My God I thank you for the gospel! It is both the power and the wisdom of Jesus Christ; it’s the hope for the world and the answer to the cry of the nations.
God I preach it without disguise and compromise, and behold the doctrine of Christ with a clear conscience.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.

The Babylonian System

Apostle Grace Lubega

Revelation 18:2, 4 (KJV): And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

Babylon is a system and it represents the order and operations of this present world.

Some Christians are in places of influence that are admirable but they are still under this Babylonian system and thus function under its yoke.

If a Christian subjects himself to the Babylonian system, it doesn’t matter how hard a worker they are, it doesnt matter how educated they are or what positions they hold, they are under a particular yoke they cannot rise above.

Your inheritance as a child of God is tagged to the blessing of the Almighty God and not what the systems of this world can offer.

When you flow in the realm of reason and try to apply carnal methods to obtain this inheritance, you walk out of the course that God has ordained for us.

The Babylonian system will make a predictable Christian out of you.

The Blessing of God on the other hand, makes an unpredictable Christian out of you because you draw out of the limitless resources of eternity and not the limited resources of this world: your finances are unpredictable, your ministry is unpredictable; your vision is unpredictable and everything about your life is unpredictable. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: John 17:16, Romans 12:2

GOLDEN NUGGET:
The Blessing of God makes an unpredictable Christian out of you because you draw out of the limitless resources of eternity and not the limited resources of this world: your finances are unpredictable, your ministry is unpredictable; your vision is unpredictable and everything about your life is unpredictable.

PRAYER: God I thank you because I am not of this world. I thank you because my citizenship is of heaven. I am come to zion, the city of the living God, the company of innumerable angels and the spirits of just men made perfect. I refuse to conform to this world but to yield to the Spirit in all that I do. I am a wind, no one knows where I go or from where I come but they feel my force and impact. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

The Seven Mountains: A Faith Issue

Apostle Grace Lubega

Hebrews 12:22 (KJV): But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,

It is important that each of us as Christian believers know which mountain we ought to be on top of and to influence. We all must do our part.

However, the question is how?

It is firstly a faith issue.

You don’t need to first get to the top, you must believe that you are at the top.

One of the reasons the church is failing to get Christians on top of these mountains is because we are ministering to them like they are down below.

We are pointing them to where they are physically instead of where they are spiritually.

But the message must change.

We must tell them that they are different.

They are the heads and not the tails.

They are above and not beneath.

They are more than conquerors through Christ who strengthens them.

They are a peculiar generation, a royal priesthood!

They are different and must believe themselves as different.

We look not at the things that are seen but the things that are not seen.

We call the things that are not as though they are.

That is how we will occupy. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Deuternomy 28:13, Romans 4:17

GOLDEN NUGGET:
Getting to the top of the mountain is a faith issue. You don’t need to first get to the top, you must believe that you are at the top.

PRAYER: Father, thank you for your Word. You have given me authority to reign and I walk in it by faith. I choose to believe that I am at the top, I am influencing policies, systems and government. The wisdom of God is radiating out of my spirit and causes the wisest to seek me. To the glory of your name. Amen.

The Church’s Mandate

Apostle Grace Lubega

Proverbs 14:34 (KJV): Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.

Righteousness exalts a nation.

God did not say a good political system, good social system or good economic system exalts a nation.

It is righteousness that exalts a nation.

It is high time we stopped blaming our governments for the state of the nation.
The problem is the church.

The Bible says that the foundations are out of course because we do not know who we are in God(Psalms 82).

I have come to understand that the world is out of balance because of the indifference of the Church of Christ.

In this, I have learnt to take responsibility and never judge my leaders.

As a Church, we ought to ask the hard questions: what message are we preaching?

Can I teach a man like Christ did and provoke in him the repentance of Zaccheaus to return money unjustly gained?

Have we fathered saints in the gospel or simply manipulated and abused them that they never want to pray?

Have we preached to them the righteousness that is of God that points them to their identity in God?

We can’t claim to be a Christian nation and still see certain things.

If we cannot see the results of what it means to be a Christian nation, it is high time we redefine what we call Christianity.

The church must take responsibility for the state of its nation because the mandate of discipling nations was handed to us.

FURTHER STUDY: Habakkuk 2:14, Psalms 22:27

GOLDEN NUGGET:
The church must take responsibility for the state of its nation because the mandate of discipling nations was handed to us.

PRAYER: My God, thank you for your Word for today. You know why you placed me in my nation, why I drunk its waters, ate its food and drove on its roads. It is all tied in to your purpose and will. With all the knowledge you have trusted me with, I cannot be in a nation and be comfortable with the things that do not show your glory. Because I am here, principalities bow. Because I am here, my nation grows in the knowledge of you. Because I am here, the gospel has free course. Because I am here peace reigns. To the glory of your name. Amen.

The Seven Mountains: Beyond Compromise

Apostle Grace Lubega

Zechariah 8:23 (KJV): Thus saith the Lord of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you.

We live in a generation where some Christians aspiring to be on top of these mountains have been consumed by the spirit of compromise.

Some Christians no longer pray because they got big time jobs that became a priority over God.

How about Christian artists? When they were upcoming, they went to every church because their CD had to sell. When these got famous, church lost priority!

I know a minister who was invited to preach to a group of students. When he arrived, he asked his assistant to go check how many people were waiting for him. When he was told that they were about twenty, he drove away!

Such a one is waiting for a big crusade in order to make an impact, how?! How?!

How about the minister who has thirty members and then wants six body guards?

What message are we giving the church?

What kind of influence will we have when God gets such on top of the mountain?

Look at the Christian radio station that believes that they have to play secular music to attract adverts. The upcoming young Christian artist will think that you have to play secular music to be a success. That is not so!

Jesus did not need to get drunk to win drunkards.

Like our theme scripture says, nations will admire and cling to you because you have God.

It is time God brought back the fear of the church to this world, like it was in the book of Acts! ( Acts 5:11). It is about time the church set the standards for this world and not the world setting the standards for the church, God help us!

FURTHER STUDY: Isaiah 60:3, Isaiah 49:23

GOLDEN NUGGET:
Nations will admire and cling to you because you have God. It is about time the church set the standards for this world and not the world setting the standards for the church, God help us!

PRAYER: God I thank you for the great privilege of being a child of God. You have called me, separated me and sanctified me. I am a member of your body; your mind is my mind and I am the bone of your bones. I live my life with the understanding that I am unique, peculiar and special. With this knowledge, I am a trend setter to the world. To the glory of your name. Amen.
