Phaneroo 116 Sermon

The Hidden Gospel

2 Corinthians 4:3, 4 (AMPC) But even if our Gospel (the glad tidings) also be hidden (obscured and covered up with a veil that hinders the knowledge of God), it is hidden [only] to those who are perishing and obscured [only] to those who are spiritually dying and veiled [only] to those who are lost.

There is a gospel that seems open and known generally and there is a gospel that is hidden. We are all believers but there’s a message that is hid from some. Some assume that because they are preaching what sounds reasonable then that makes it the gospel but this is not so.

Take for example 1 Corinthians 2:12 (AMP). It says, We have not received the spirit of the world but the Holy Spirit of God and the spirit was given to us that we might realize and comprehend those things lavishly given to us by God. The beginning of revelation by the Holy Spirit is He shows you the things you have in God. From day one, the Spirit of God introduces you to the abundance of what has been given to you by God and not your lack. In the life of salvation, it is one thing to pray or ask from a place where you know you have abundance and it’s another when you ask from a place of lack.  Not all Christians understand this – to some Christians it’s hidden knowledge!

People lack not because they are born from a poor family but because it has not been revealed to them by the Spirit what God has already given them! Lack is a revelation in the same way that blessing is a revelation. You just have to yield your spirit and consciousness to the right revelation of abundance.

Living by Faith

This understanding is what makes faith what it is. Faith is the grace to be conscious of an affirmed future and the ability to manifest it every other day. It is not necessarily the evidence of the unseen; it’s the ability to create what you want to walk in. Your creation avails a divine ability to execute the same. That’s where every child of God ought to live. There are things you cannot pick from the spirit realm until you learn to walk by faith, because the distinctions of revelation start to create divine abilities, and out of those divine abilities you are likened to a man that bringeth forth new and old (Matthew 13:52). There’s a realm in the spirit where true freedom is choice, by reason of how much is revealed to your spirit of the things freely given you of God. The church is behind because there’s a certain Gospel still hid. You can choose to be above only and not beneath; you can choose to be the head only not the tail. Make a solid decision in your life of having a certain consciousness of the things freely given; for whatever you are conscious of you attract! Live in that place, don’t just visit. Stop visiting where you ought to live.
