Truth, The Train Of Love
Apostle Grace Lubega
1 Corinthians 13:8 (KJV): Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
The spirit of deception sometimes creates a false impression of love.
True love carries a train spiritually that qualifies truth, and this truth is not qualified necessarily as “meat” because if truth is only at the level of meat, it is still food and thus still falls in the category of that which is merely “pleasant for food”(Genesis 3:6).
That is why when the Bible speaks of meat, it says, “meats for the belly and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them).” (1 Corinthians 6:13).
However, there is something that does not get destroyed and this is called truth in its absoluteness.
One distinct character of truth is that it has no progression; “milk” and “meat” progress.
What this means is that milk is a degree of truth and one may progress in “milk.” Meat is a degree of truth and one may progress in “meat”.
However, there comes a time when milk and meat cease.
In this place of truth, the bible says, “Heaven and earth shall pass away but my word shall not pass away”(Mark 13:31).
At this point, truth goes above meat and milk . Here milk and meat are both elements and can melt yet what is truth remains.
The truth that remains is the truth grounded in love.

GOLDEN NUGGET:
True love carries a train spiritually that qualifies truth
PRAYER: Father, I thank you for this great wisdom. I understand that truth can only be qualified by love in the same way that love can only be qualified by truth. This is about more than just the milk by which we grow as babes in the faith or the meat by which we partake of greater depths and realities of the Spirit. This is about the love that never fails and hence the truth that never fails. I grow in this understanding every day to the glory of your name. Amen.
