The Voice Of Counsel

Apostle Grace Lubega

Proverbs 24:6(KJV); For by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war: and in a multitude of counsellors there is safety.

The Voice Of CounselBy wise counsel, you make war.

There are people who are struggling with certain battles whether in relationships or financially because they despised the voice of counsel.

For some, the voice of counsel was the instruction of their spiritual authorities cautioning them not to take a certain path. For others, the voice was that of their biological parents telling them that a relationship they were getting into was not healthy.

The results of their disobedience have been disastrous. It may take years to undo the effect of what they got themselves into. Their lives will never be the same again because of the decisions they made.

Child of God, never kill the voice of counsel in your life.

Even if you do not agree with what your authority says, have the patience and humility to heed to instruction even when it does not make sense.

Your man or woman of God sees much farther than you do. Your parents, by reason of experience and the wisdom that comes with ag,e see more than you do.

Never put them in a place where they prefer silence over the need to instruct you in a matter because silence is worse than rebuke.

When the voice of counsel is silent, you are not safe.

Always be humble in receiving instruction. It is by the voice of counsel that you will withstand many storms in life.

GOLDEN NUGGET:

Always be humble in receiving instruction. It is by the voice of counsel that you will withstand many storms in life.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank you for this day. I thank you for the wise people in my sphere of influence. I choose to always be humble and heed instruction. I receive chastisement with joy because I know that those words add to me, they do not take from me. In this knowledge, I live a life of continual victory because I know how to fight. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
