The Experience Of Epignosis

Apostle Grace Lubega

1 Corinthians 2:9-10(KJV); But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

The Experience Of EpignosisWhen Paul speaks of what no eye has seen and what no ear has heard, he was describing a personal experience.

He walked this earth with the revelation of what no man had ever seen, no ear had ever heard and what had never entered into the hearts of men.

God launched his spirit into a realm of access to things that were beyond any man’s experience in this world of tents.

In 2 Corinthians 12:3-4, he sheds light on this encounter and says, “And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) How that he was caught up into paradise, heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.”

A man who was barred by the laws of heaven from uttering what he had seen, laid the foundation of the gospel.

He called upon those that were to come after him to build thereon.

This means that what Paul was not allowed to utter, you have articulation of. As the body of Christ, to build in this instance, is in to put words to what Paul could not utter.

Our theme scripture says God has revealed these things to us. The Spirit of revelation gives us utterance.

You have the words for what no eye has seen. You can explain what no ear has heard. You can demystify what has never entered into the hearts of men.

Glory to God!

GOLDEN NUGGET:

The Spirit of revelation gives us utterance. You have the words for what no eye has seen. You can explain what no ear has heard. You can demystify what has never entered into the hearts of men.

PRAYER: Loving Father, you are gracious. Your wisdom knows no bounds and your depth is immeasurable. I live in the undeniable truth that the bottomless depths of God are in me. What a glory! I am teaching the world unsearchable mysteries of the kingdom because revelation has given me utterance. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
