Our High Priest

Apostle Grace Lubega

Hebrews 4:15(KJV); For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

Our High PriestGod is not indifferent to your pain. He is not indifferent to your situation and neither is He indifferent to any of your suffering.

The Bible, through our theme scripture reveals that we have a High Priest who is touched with the feeling of our infirmities.

The Amplified Bible says that our High Priest is not the kind who does not UNDERSTAND, SYMPATHISE AND HAVE A SHARED FEELING with our weakness.

Whatsoever you are going through, our Lord Jesus knows exactly how you feel. He is intimately acquainted with the degree of your pain, your heartbreak, your agony and how much you may be hurting.

The reason He cares is that He knows your struggles and knows them all too well.

He is not out of touch with your reality. He experienced it all and overcame.

Christ could not have qualified to take away sin if He had never felt how we feel when we are weak. He knows how you feel when someone angers you and as such, He is able to help you.

He is not without compassion.

He does not seek to merely judge you. His heart’s desire is to love you out of any form of weakness.

This is why we must be patient with other people because Christ is patient with them.

It is why we must strive to understand them because Christ understands them.

Glory to God.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for the priceless and indescribable gift of your son, Jesus Christ. Thank you for the pattern that He set for me. I embrace your unfailing grace and extend this same grace to everyone around me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
