Christ The Door

Apostle Grace Lubega

John 10: 1-2; 7(KJV); Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.

Christ The DoorThere are many ways through which men enter the gospel or join ministries.

It is a sad reality but some of these include manipulation, listening to those who discredit other men of God’s labours, false doctrine and deception. The scriptures call any man who uses such ways to draw men, a thief. If a person joins a ministry through these means, he or she one did not use the door.

In the seventh verse, Christ says, ‘ I am the door.’ Christ is the only DOOR by which men enter the kingdom.

When we preach Christ in truth, we point men to the door. This is what attracts; it is what causes multitudes to follow; it is what opens nations; it is what makes the world listen to your message.

He said that when He is lifted up, He draws men to Himself(John 12:32).

If a minister of the gospel understands this truth, he cannot worry about who leaves his church for another ministry.

As a minister, learn the right door and build it. This means that you must grow in the knowledge of Christ, understand His desires and exercise your spirit to His constant inspiration.

His name be praised!

GOLDEN NUGGET:

As a minister, learn the right door and build it. This means that you must grow in the knowledge of Christ, understand His desires and exercise your spirit to His constant inspiration.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for this knowledge. I receive it as a pattern of growth in ministry. If we lift up Christ, He draws men unto Himself. I choose to exalt you in everything that I do. It is all about you. I decrease even as you increase. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
