The Mandate Of Discipleship

The Mandate Of Discipleship
[restabs alignment=”osc-tabs-left” responsive=”false” tabcolor=”#81d742″ seltabcolor=”#eeee22″] [restab title=”English” active=”active”]

Apostle Grace Lubega

Matthew 28:19 (NIV) Therefore go and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the son and of the Holy Spirit.

The mandate of discipleship was given to the body of Christ, not only the five-fold ministry.

Discipleship is therefore the responsibility of every Christian believer. And this mandate is to the nations.

We are made disciples in order to make disciples of all nations. This is not about making disciples “in” nations but rather making disciples of all nations.

As a child of God, you have an apostolic authority at work in you that can bring nations to obedience.

What the Lord is doing in your life is not to just make you a wonderful Christian in your nation but to redeem nations. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Isaiah 60:22, Romans 1:5

GOLDEN NUGGET: We are made disciples in order to make disciples of all nations.

PRAYER: Father I thank you for this understanding. I am called for great things; called for the world and the nations. Even as you teach me and work in me every day, I know that I am impacting nations to the glory of your name. Amen.

Pay The Price Of Knowledge

Pay The Price Of Knowledge
[restabs alignment=”osc-tabs-left” responsive=”false” tabcolor=”#81d742″ seltabcolor=”#eeee22″] [restab title=”English” active=”active”]

Apostle Grace Lubega

Hebrews 4:12 (KJV); For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Some Christians think that their problem is the lack of money; the absence of a job; the failure of their marriage or the stagnation of their business.

But in truth, that is not the real problem; their problem is that they lack knowledge.

Because they lack knowledge, they are always asking the pastor to tell them what God is saying; what is fighting them; who has bewitched them etc.

It is good for a man of God to tell you that they see such and such a thing in your life but he may see and fix only one thing yet you have so many other things that God may not have showed him.

But our theme scripture reveals that the Word of God is a discerner of thoughts; it divides soul and spirit, joint and marrow.

There are things the pastor, prophet or apostle may not see but the Word of God sees them because it has eyes. Stick to the Word, pay the price of knowledge. That is where your true freedom lies. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Hosea 4:6, Proverbs 11:9

GOLDEN NUGGET: Stick to the Word, pay the price of knowledge. That is where your true freedom lies.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for your Word; that undefinable treasure that is the axis of your integrity. It never fails. It is true. You have exalted your Word above your name and my world is hinged on it. I rejoice over it like he that has found great spoil. I read and study it like my life blood. It dwells in me richly and every thought, meditation, and word I speak is of and in the Word. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Of The Anointing And The Gift

Of The Anointing And The Gift
[restabs alignment=”osc-tabs-left” responsive=”false” tabcolor=”#81d742″ seltabcolor=”#eeee22″] [restab title=”English” active=”active”]

Apostle Grace Lubega

1 John 2:20 (KJV); But ye have an unction from the Holy One and ye know all things

The anointing of the Holy Spirit and the gift of the Holy Spirit operating on someone’s life are not the same. The anointing executes the gifts of the Holy Spirit. However, He is not subject to only the gift at work in you.

Our theme scripture reveals that a child of God has an unction (anointing) from on high and knows all things.

This means that the Holy Spirit is the spirit of knowledge too. He not only gives you a gift of healing, prophesy etc but He teaches too.

This is the primary ministry of the anointing; to teach you who God is and lead you into the knowledge of Him.

Having a gift of prophesy, healing or demonstration of the Spirit does not mean that you know God intimately. It is possible to have the gift and yet not function in a certain level of the anointing because you are not taught of Him.

Sometimes, the reason why some men can prophesy, heal and demonstrate power but cannot stir the body of Christ to maturity is because they are operating by the gift only and not the fullness of the anointing.

As a child of God, you ought to allow your spirit to be chastised by the Holy Spirit, because when He does, this chastisement builds in you the character of the Spirit that will propel you to the greater things of God. This will distinguish you from a man who only functions by the gift. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: John 14:26, 1 John 2:27

GOLDEN NUGGET: As a child of God, you ought to allow your spirit to be chastised by the Holy Spirit, because when He does, this chastisement builds in you the character of the Spirit that will propel you to the greater things of God.

PRAYER: Father, I am grateful for this Word. By this knowledge, I grow and mature in the anointing beyond just the gift at work in me. I yield to the unction that teaches; to the chastening of the Spirit; to His convictions; His urgencies and His instruction. My end is of a man whose character is shaped by God. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Why we Preach the Grace: The Responsibility

Why we Preach the Grace: The Responsibility

Apostle Grace Lubega

Ecclesiastes 9:11 (KJV): I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.

Our theme scripture teaches that even if a man seems disadvantaged, the grace of God grants him an opportunity to succeed.  In other words, even if he seems slow, he can win a race; even if he seems weak, he can win a battle; even if he seems lacking in skill, favour can still follow him.

However, this portion of scripture does not mean that God intends for the man to remain slow or weak. It only means that there is grace to make anyone less advantaged to achieve certain things in life by the influence of the quickening of the Spirit.

In this regard, the grace of God does not mean that He expects you to remain weak, slow and unskillful in order for His strength to always be made perfect through you.

God is not distributing His strength for you to continue in your weakness.

Indeed there is a point where even in your weakness, His strength is made known (2 Corinthians 12:9). But the purpose of the work of God in you is so that those weaknesses cease and you grow in the stature and image of the Christ. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: 2 Corinthians 6:1, 1 Corinthians 15:10

GOLDEN NUGGET:
The grace of God does not mean that He expects you to remain weak, slow and unskillful in order for His strength to always be made perfect through you.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for your grace, that divine enablement that labours in me abundantly. I have not received it in vain and never is it an excuse for weakness or mediocrity. In this understanding, I soar higher in life, in ministry, at my work place and in all that I do. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

The Love Commandment

The Love Commandment

  • Apostle Grace Lubega

1 John 4:20 (KJV) If a man say I love God and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?

The Christian life is a love relationship between a man and God. Unfortunately many people are hungry for what God can give them and not for who He is.

As such, they are detached from the need of heaven which is the souls of men.

Many serve, not because they love God but because they require a particular reward from Him. But that is not what this faith is about. It is all about love.

Like our theme scripture teaches, a man cannot claim to love God and hate a brother.
When a man has not loved God enough, he will not love men enough.

If you want to see the love that a man has for men, see his love for God. You cannot truly love men until you love God.

If everything you do in this world is not for the love of men, it means that you do not really love God. When you love God, you love men.

    FURTHER STUDY: 1 John 4:8, 1 Corinthians 13

    GOLDEN NUGGET:
You cannot truly love men until you love God.

PRAYER: Father, I am grateful for your Word. Your love to me dictates all my actions. It flows through me and everything that I do and causes me to love people; to believe in them; to never judge but always seek to protect, cover and defend them. I am the testimony to many that you love them. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

    ITEGEKO RYO GUKUNDANA

1 Yohana 4:20 Umuntu navuga ati”Nkunda Imana” akanga mwene Se aba ari umunyabinyoma, kuko udakunda mwene Se yabonye atabasha gukunda Imana atabonye.

Ubuzima bw’umu Kristo ni ubuzima bwo gukundana hagati y’umuntu n’Imana. Gusa abantu benshi basonzeye ibyo Imana yabaha kurusha iyo ariyo.

    Bityo, ntibahura n’ubushake bw’ijuru aribwo bugingo bw’abantu.

Benshi bakorera Imana, atari uko bakunda Imana ahubwo kuko bashaka igihembo runaka kiyivaho. Ariko uko siko kwizera twizeye. Ni urukundo.

Nk’uko icyanditswe twifashishije kibyigisha, umuntu ntiyavuga ko akunda Imana ngo yange mwene se. Iyo umuntu adakunda Imana bihagije, nago azakunda abantu bihagije.

Niba ushaka kubona urukundo umuntu afitiye abantu, reba uko akunda Imana. Nago wakunda abantu keretse ukunze Imana.

Niba ibyo ukora muri iyi si atari ugukunda abantu, bivuze ko udakunda Imana koko. Iyo ukunda Imana, ukunda abantu.

    IBINDI BYANDITSWE: 1 Yohana 4:8, 1 Abakorinto 13

ICYO WAKURAMO: Nago wakunda abantu keretse ukunze Imana.

ISENGESHO: Data, nshimye ijambo ryawe. Urukundo rwawe kuri njye rutegeka ibikorwa byanjye. Rutemba muri njye kandi no mu byo nkora byose bigatuma nkunda abantu; kubizera; kutabacira urubanza no gushaka kubarinda, kubatwikira no kubarengera. Benshi bazi ko ubakunda kubera ubuhamya bwanjye. Mu izina rya Yesu. Amen.

    ETUDE COMPLEMENTAIRE : 1 Jean 4:8, 1 Corinthiens 13

Amen.

Things That Make Ministers: Each Joint Supplies

Things That Make Ministers: Each Joint Supplies

Ephesians 4:16(KJV), From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

The Church of Christ can only increase and grow like it ought to when every joint understands its part and starts to supply like it ought to.

But in this day, we have a prophet who does not see; an apostle who is ushering and has no idea he is an apostle; a teacher who is a worshipper, because worship was the simpler thing to do than teaching; and a pastor who just comes to attend service and everything else is none of his business.

What makes the Church ineffective in the spirit realm is that what men call serving God are the easily doable functions they pursue outside their individual callings.

It is not wrong to usher but if you are a prophet, usher while prophesying. It is a good thing to be a cleaner in the church but even so, be a cleaner who is also a mighty demonstrator of the Spirit. Praise God!

FURTHER STUDY: Acts 6:5,8; Colossians 1:10

GOLDEN NUGGET:
The Church of Christ can only increase and grow like it ought to when every joint understands its part and starts to supply like it ought to.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for this Word. I stand in the perfect will of God pertaining to my ministry and service in the kingdom. I know my gifts, calling, assignment and mandate. I serve in this understanding and as such greatly profit the body of Christ. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

God our Satisfaction

God our Satisfaction
  • Apostle Grace Lubega

Deuteronomy 32:15 (KJV) But Jeshurun waxed fat, and kicked: thou art waxen fat, thou art grown thick, thou art covered with fatness; then he forsook God which made him, and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation.

Jeshurun “waxed fat” and forsook the God which made him. In other words, he became successful and forgot the God that had blessed him.

Jeshurun was a soulish man. Men that function in the soulish realm are very easy to satisfy.
A car, wife, new house or new job is enough to satisfy them. Such a one can easily forsake God after he has got a car, a wife, house or a new job.

But as a New Testament creature, understand that you cannot “wax fat” and forsake God because the spirit of a new man can sustain any blessing.

Your excitement as a New Creature in Christ is in the advancement of the spiritual things.

You should never be too rich to pray; too successful to come to church; too beautiful to preach the gospel. Praise God!

    FURTHER STUDY: Hebrews 6:9, 2 Corinthians 12:15

    GOLDEN NUGGET:
As a New Testament creature, you cannot “wax fat” and forsake God because the spirit of a new man can sustain any blessing.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for your Word. The gospel of the kingdom is my life and the pattern of my life. Like Paul, necessity has been laid upon me and woe unto me if I do not preach. Yes, I am a success but still preach. Yes, I am rich but still give my all for the gospel. To the glory of your name. Amen.

    DIEU NOTRE SATISFACTION

Amen.

Things that Make Ministers: The Comfort of God

Things that Make Ministers: The Comfort of God

  • 2 Corinthians 1:3-4(KJV) Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.

God is the primary comforter of any minister of the gospel. Any comfort outside God is not comfort and can lead to a certain delusion and misunderstanding of the things of the spirit.

This comfort sometimes comes in the form of growth in ministry, financial increase, divine health etc.

But, when God comforts His ministers, He also passes on, with the comfort, the burden of the gospel. That is why when God honours you with success, with financial increase and with favour, these should never diminish the burden for the message of Christ.

These are only given to ease your work of executing divine purpose. The comfort of God does not take away His burden.

I have seen men who have been too comforted and subsequently lost the burden for the gospel.

Consider the person who used to pray a lot but when they got a job, they stopped praying. She used to serve God diligently and was believing for marriage but when she got married, she stopped coming to church.

Comfort should never push you out of the zones of prayer or frustrate the burden for the gospel that God placed upon your life. Hallelujah!

    FURTHER STUDY: 2 Corinthians 12:15, 1 Corinthians 9:16

    GOLDEN NUGGET:
When God honours you with success, with financial increase and with favour, these should never diminish the burden for the message of Christ. These are only given to ease your work of executing divine purpose. The comfort of God does not take away His burden.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you because I know that you are the God of all comfort. You have been there, through the thick and thin; the best and the worst of times. Thank you for the whisper of your voice that has always spoken blessed assurances. Thank you for the touch of your hand that reminded me of your presence. Thank you for the joy that leaped in my spirit when men thought I should mourn. Thank you for the strength that flooded my soul when the storms of weakness tried to break the gates of my soul. I have you, know you and I am known of you; that’s all that matters. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

    ETUDE COMPLEMENTAIRE : 2 Corinthiens 12:15, 1 Corinthiens 9:16

Amen.

Lessons In Virtue: Language

Apostle Grace Lubega

2 Corinthians 6:14 (KJV) Be ye not unequally yoked with unbelievers: for what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness?

It is often claimed that marriages break because of a lack of communication. However, more than that, marriages do not break simply because of poor communication but rather because of conflicting language.

By this, I do not mean tribal dialect. No. A couple might communicate frequently yet fight each other every day.

The Born Again Christian walk has a very distinctive language and it is important that you marry someone who understands it.

Take for example the language of faith. A spouse might declare in faith that he or she intends to expand the family business within a month. But because the other party does not understand the language of faith, might size him or her up and their past failings and declare that it is not possible. That alone becomes a source of contention between the two.

When the language is the same, their thought life usually tends to be one: they think the same way and sometimes no longer need to speak in order to know what the other wants.

That is why silence makes the real conversation between friends, not the saying but the never needing to say. Praise God!

FURTHER STUDY: Proverbs 31:26, 1 Peter 3:1-2

GOLDEN NUGGET: The Born Again Christian walk has a very distinctive language and it is important that you marry someone who understands it.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for this wisdom. My spouse and I have the same language; we understand each other deeper than just speech. By this we walk in the beauty of marital communion. To the glory of your name. Amen.

His Promises are Ye and Amen

His Promises are Ye and Amen
  • Apostle Grace Lubega

2 Corinthians 1:19-20 (MSG) When Silas and Timothy and I proclaimed the Son of God among you, did you pick up on any yes-and-no, on-again, off-again waffling? Wasn’t it a clean, strong Yes? Whatever God has promised gets stamped with the Yes of Jesus. In him, this is what we preach and pray, the great Amen, God’s Yes and our Yes together, gloriously evident.

Some people think that not all the promises in the scriptures are for them; For instance, that sometimes their faith will work and sometimes it will not work or that today God will say yes but tomorrow He will say no. That is not true.

Our theme scripture teaches us that all the promises of God in Christ are yes and Amen. There is no such thing as a no when it comes to the promises of God. There is nothing God promised you that you are not supposed to have.

He could not have promised with the intention of denying you the very things that He promised.

All the promises He ever made are stamped with YES. This ought to define how you pray and how you speak.

A man who has understood that all the promises of God in Christ are ye and Amen does not go to God asking for these promises; he goes to Him with thanksgiving. Hallelujah!

    FURTHER STUDY: Matthew 21:22, 1 Corinthians 3:21-22

    GOLDEN NUGGET:
There is nothing God promised you that you are not supposed to have.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you because your Word is sure and your promises are true. I thank you that I walk in the fulfillment of every good thing that has been spoken over my life. You have said by your Word that all things are mine: whether Apollos, whether Paul; whether things present or things to come. I live in the liberty of one who is lavished with blessings by God and is never denied any form of access. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

    ETUDE COMPLEMENTAIRE : Matthieu 21:22, 1 Corinthiens 3:21-22

Amen.

We Never Give Up

We Never Give Up

  • Apostle Grace Lubega

Proverbs 24:10 (KJV) If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.

I have met Christians who said they had believed God for certain things for so long yet nothing was working. Some walk away from the gospel and ministry on account of having not gotten a job they believed God for or they settled for non-believers as the easiest way out having believed for marriage for so long.

If you faint in the day of adversity then your strength is small. The Bible says that God is your strength (Psalms 46:1). Thus, if you faint in the day of adversity, then your “God” was too small to come through.

In that very moment that you make the decision to draw back, the man or that job you seek has become your “God”. The message version rendering of our theme scripture is: “if you fall to pieces in a crisis, there wasn’t much to you in the first place.”

The truth about people that draw back is that they never believed in the first place; they might have acted faith but in reality they never believed. You have to make up your mind that regardless of how terrible a situation becomes or how much it worsens, you will believe and trust in God. The more complicated a situation becomes, the harder you believe! The more difficult circumstances become, the more difficult you too become in your faith. That is called winning. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Hebrews 10:39, Galatians 6:9-10

GOLDEN NUGGET: You have to make up your mind that regardless of how terrible a situation becomes or how much it worsens, you will believe and trust in God. The more complicated a situation becomes, the harder you believe!

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for this precious Word. My eyes are set on things above: on Christ the guarantee of my victory. I never draw back. I can never give up. My God you are faithful and you never fail. I choose to trust you to the very end in every area of my life, knowing that you are the author and finisher, the alpha and omega. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Willingness Of Spirit

Willingness Of Spirit
  • Apostle Grace Lubega

Isaiah 1:19 (KJV) If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land

It is one thing to be obedient. It is another to be willing. Our theme scripture reveals that both willingness and obedience qualify you to enjoy the promises of God.

Obedience is acting on God’s instructions in the Word. Willingness is not just an attitude. The Hebrew word  “abah” used for willing in our theme scripture is also translated to mean “yield to.”

It means that you submit your spirit to walk in the spiritual realm to possess that which you desire; to receive it in the spirit.
Take for example tithe. It is good that you are obedient to the principle but do not stop there. Walk in the spirit and create a reality of what your tithe has achieved.

Enter that realm and imagine: because I am a tither, I lend to nations. If it is your confession of divine health as a principle, walk out of that bed like the healthiest man that ever lived. Hallelujah!

    FURTHER STUDY: Galatians 5:25, 2 Corinthians 5:7

GOLDEN NUGGET: Willingness means that you submit your spirit to walk in the spiritual realm to possess that which you desire.

PRAYER: Father, I am grateful for this Word. I am not just obedient, I am willing. I know how to receive and get a hold of things in the spirit. In this understanding, I walk greatly in the manifestation of divine promises. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

    GUSHAKA K’UMWUKA

Yesaya 1:19 Nimwemera mukumvira muzarya ibyiza byo mu gihugu.

    ETUDE COMPLEMENTAIRE : Galates 5:25, 2 Corinthiens 5:7

Amen.
