Apostle Grace Lubega
Psalms 42:5-6 (MSG); Why are you down in the dumps, dear soul? Why are you crying the blues? Fix my eyes on God — soon I’ll be praising again. He puts a smile on my face. He’s my God. When my soul is in the dumps, I rehearse everything I know of you, From Jordan depths to Hermon heights, including Mount Mizar.
When your soul is down cast, encourage yourself in the Lord. How so? Our theme scripture reveals that David did this by rehearsing the past victories that God had granted him. That is how we win; it is how we overcome. Rehearse.
Regardless of what you are going through right now, be it a financial, family or job crisis, simply think back and meditate on what God did for you in the past.
There are situations you went through years ago that felt like they would never end and you would not make it through alive; but God was faithful!
If it was disease, He healed you. If it was loss, He comforted you. If it was lack, He provided and made a way when your back was against the wall.
When you face adversity, simply remember those moments and how He helped you through.
No matter how harsh your situation is, get yourself alone and rehearse. “Father you delivered me from the hands of my enemies two years ago…You healed me when the doctor’s report spoke no hope….You provided when no man could meet my need….This situation is no different. If you were faithful then, you are faithful now.”
Don’t wail about what is wrong. Simply rehearse past victories. No matter how small the past testimony is, simply rehearse. That is how faith grows. Hallelujah!
FURTHER STUDY: 2 Timothy 2:13, Ephesians 5:20
GOLDEN NUGGET:
Don’t wail about what is wrong. Simply rehearse past victories.
PRAYER: Father, I thank you for my life. I thank you for the far that you have brought me and to the places you are taking me. You have been faithful and true. You never failed me. Even as I look to the future, I know that nothing can move me because I have you. You helped me before, you will help me gain. You saved me before, you will save me again. My present is secure. My future is not a mystery. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

PÉPITE D’OR :
Tu m’as aidé avant, tu m’aideras à gagner. Tu m’as sauvé avant, tu me sauveras encore. Mon cadeau est sécurisé. Mon avenir n’est pas un mystère. Au nom de Jésus. Amen.

When the Shunammite woman lost her only child, our theme scripture reveals that she did not even disclose it to her husband. She placed the child on a bed in the spare room that they had reserved for Elisha the prophet and went searching for him.
The life of salvation is very easy. Some have complicated it with teachings that it is very hard. No. God did not call you into a life of struggle. He did not die for you into a life of hardship. Salvation is easy!
The Holy Spirit will never leave you. The Bible says that by Him have we been sealed unto the day of redemption.
It is possible to get too involved in ministry and the service of the kingdom and become indifferent to the person of the Spirit. That is what Paul calls being a busy body (2 Thessalonians 3:11).
The Lord Jesus Christ did not come to tell men how angry the Lord God was with them. The mission of the Christ was not to proclaim doom and judgment but the love of God.
It is possible for a minister of the gospel to destroy both himself and those who listen to him using the scriptures because he is either unstable or he is unlearned.
The contention between Paul and Barnabas arose because of John Mark who while they were on the mission field deserted them.
The mandate of discipleship was given to the body of Christ, not only the five-fold ministry.
Some Christians think that their problem is the lack of money; the absence of a job; the failure of their marriage or the stagnation of their business.
The anointing of the Holy Spirit and the gift of the Holy Spirit operating on someone’s life are not the same. The anointing executes the gifts of the Holy Spirit. However, He is not subject to only the gift at work in you.
Our theme scripture teaches that even if a man seems disadvantaged, the grace of God grants him an opportunity to succeed. In other words, even if he seems slow, he can win a race; even if he seems weak, he can win a battle; even if he seems lacking in skill, favour can still follow him.
