Ecclesiastes 3:11(KJV); He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end

Divine beauty comes to those that understand spiritual seasons and times. That is what the scriptures mean when they say that God makes everything beautiful in His time.

Some businesses fail because they are started outside spiritual time. Some ministries die because they are planted outside spiritual time. Some marriages break because the couple got into that covenant outside of spiritual time. 

There are Christians who start certain things too early or start too late. They make decisions before the decision is relevant or after it has lost relevance.

That is not the portion of a believer. 

When you pattern your life after the timing of the spirit, God makes your job beautiful, your business beautiful, your marriage beautiful and your ministry beautiful.

Many things determine how tuned you are to spiritual time but the most important is your life of communion. 

One day in the house of the Lord is better than a thousand in the world( Psalms 84:10). 

In God’s presence, we redeem time and master the wisdom by which we number our days. Ideas birthed out of communion will always be in the timing of the Spirit. Decisions made in the secret place will always be in sync with spiritual times and seasons.

Understanding The Time Dimension – 1

Ecclesiastes 1:9 (AMP); The thing that has been–it is what will be again, and that which has been done is that which will be done again; and there is nothing new under the sun.

The time dimension is circular. 

History repeats itself. What has been shall be again and what has been done shall be done again because of this circular motion of events and experiences under the sun.

This same sequence is demonstrated through the prophetic ministry of Samuel. 

The Bible says In 1 Samuel 7:16, “And he went from year to year in circuit to Bethel, and Gilgal, and Mizpeh, and judged Israel in all those places.” 

Christ had a similar experience in His earthly ministry. In Mark 6:6, the Bible reveals that He went ’round about’ the villages teaching.

Events under the earth are the same, although the degrees may change from time to time. 

As a believer, you ought to understand this sequence and rotation because when you do, you will be able to fix any issue in your life.

What assurance does this truth bring to you as a child of God?

It means that if you failed to fix something this year, do not despair for God has designed another opportunity for you to fix it. If it failed yesterday, another moment is available in time for you to do better. 

I know people who give up the first time something fails; they believe that once an opportunity has passed, then they will never have it again. In the world, it is said that opportunity knocks once at every man’s door. That is not scriptural. 

God has designed the seasons and times of this life to give you a second chance, a third chance, a fourth chance and as many other chances as possible because His grace and mercies are unending to those that are willing and humble to embrace them.

God has designed the seasons and times of this life to give you a second chance, a third chance, a fourth chance and as many other chances as possible because His grace and mercies are unending to those that are willing and humble to embrace them.

The Prophetic Dimension Of The Word

Hebrews 4:12-13(KJV); For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

In the spirit realm, there is such a thing as the realm of mysteries. This realm is a dimension in the prophetic grace.

Some understand prophecy to only include sight or hearing but there are several other dimensions in the prophetic realm and one of those is the ability to search out and discover the mysteries of the Word of God.

Every time the Word of God is revealed and depths of knowledge are broken, the future becomes clearer.

Everything is naked and open before the Word of God. The past, present and future are laid bare before Him.

In Revelation 19:10, the scriptures reveal that the testimony of Jesus, who is the person of the Word is the spirit of prophecy.

When you study the Word and the mysteries of the world and of God are opened to you, that is prophecy too!

In 1 Corinthians 14:1(AMP), the Bible says, ‘Eagerly pursue and seek to acquire [this] love [make it your aim, your great quest]; and earnestly desire and cultivate the spiritual endowments (gifts), especially that you may prophesy (interpret the divine will and purpose in inspired preaching and teaching).’ 

In this, God did not only want you to desire the prophecy of sight or of hearing but also the one where the eyes of your understanding are flooded with light.

Look beyond sight, child of God and allow God to launch you into the realm of mysteries.

To Hear His Voice – 3

Genesis 3:8(KJV); And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.

When Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit, the Bible reveals that they still had access to the voice of God.

He knew that they had failed Him yet He still sought for them and talked to them. They did not look for Him, He looked for them.

Think about it; the voice of God was still available to man in his fallen state.

What about Cain after he had killed his brother Abel? God engaged him in a full conversation. Cain even had the liberty to plead for a lesser punishment! (Genesis 4).

How much more for you who has been made the righteousness of God in Christ? (2 Corinthians 5:21).

Never imagine that God has stopped speaking to you because of what you did or did not do.

His voice is clearer to you; it is available for you. If He spoke to Adam after the fall, when he was trying to hide from God, understand that He speaks to you too. If He spoke to Cain after his terrible deed, He still speaks to you too.

God’s voice is clear and available for you.

PRAYER: My God, I thank you for this Word. Thank you because your grace abounds towards me in all things. I thank you because you have seen past my faults and still seek to minister to me. To Hear His Voice – 2

John 10: 27-28(KJV); My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

Every Born Again believer and child of the Most High God has the ability to hear God. Hearing God is not for a select few, for example a pastor or a prophet.

Because some Christians have not understood this truth, they move from one minister of the gospel to the next, asking them to reveal what God is saying about their lives. As such, some have been abused and manipulated.

Christ says, ‘My sheep hear my voice.’ You hear God.

You do not need ten steps to know how to hear Him. You don’t have to practice the five ABCs of hearing Him. You must believe Him when He says you hear Him.

God speaks to you. All you need to do is learn to distinguish His voice from the many voices around you.

It all starts from this place of knowledge, that you actually hear Him by faith. Declare it out loud to your spirit, ‘I hear God.’

You are the sheep of His pasture and always know when He speaks.

To Hear His Voice – 1

John 5:25(KJV); Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.

The voice of God is a fountain of life. 

The reason why some people died before their time, businesses collapsed and ministries failed was because some people failed to hear the voice of God.

Like our theme scripture reveals, when the dead hear the voice of the son of God, they shall live. 

Think of this beyond the future coming of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. By this scripture, God wants to show us the essence and power of His voice.

Think about it. When His voice went out at the beginning of time, it created the world out of nothing; it turned voidness and waste into beauty.

The voice of God does not merely give you direction or instruction, but by its inherent power, it gives life to anything that may have died around you and saves anything at the brink of death. 

Read the Word of God because it is His voice; when you read it, your body is revitalised and your spirit revived.

Speak His Word because it is His voice; when you declare it over situations, they change!

Wait on Him because the faintest whisper from Him can turn any situation around; the slightest nudge and conviction can realign your destiny.

His voice is priceless because in it is life!

The voice of God does not merely give you direction or instruction, but by its inherent power, it gives life to anything that may have died around you and saves anything at the brink of death. 

PRAYER: Loving Father, thank you for your Word. Whatsoever you say to me is spirit and life and I receive it in that understanding. This Word breathes life into my business, my body, my marriage, my children and revives any buried ideas. I decree and declare that today is a new and beautiful beginning for me because your Word has gone forth and it cannot return void but accomplishes the purpose for which it is sent forth. Of The New Man

Romans 6:4(KJV); Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

The new man in Christ celebrates the life of Christ. The old man celebrates the blood of Christ. 

This does not mean that it is wrong to plead the blood of Jesus. His blood was for the remission of sins and it purchased our eternal redemption at Calvary. Celebrating and identifying with that blood is very important to the Christian Faith. 

In as much as it is a good thing to honour the blood of Christ, it is much better to walk in His life; this life is the very life that God has in Himself.

We look to the cross because that is where salvation begins but God does not want you to stay at the cross because neither did He. He died and rose again that we should walk in the newness of life!

Conformed To His Death

Phillipians 3:10(KJV); That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death

As new creatures in Christ, we died with Christ and were raised with Him. It is important that we appreciate the duality of this experience because it defines how we ought to fully live in the newness of life.

We cannot only celebrate and identify with the fact that we were raised with Him. We must understand that we died with Him too.

How does one conform to His death?

In Romans 7:4, the Bible says, ‘Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.’

When we died with Christ, we also died to the law. A Christian who is conformed to the death of Christ does not live under the dictates of the Law but under the abundance of God’s grace.

Dying with Christ means that it is nolonger you who lives but Christ living in you. It is God that wills and purposes in you(Philippians 2:13). You cease to do things to please God but walk as one who knows God is already pleased with him. That is a dead man!

When we died with Christ, we also died to the law. A Christian who is conformed to the death of Christ does not live under the dictates of the Law but under the abundance of God’s grace.

Understanding The Person Of The Holy Spirit – 3

Matthew 12:31-32(KJV); Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come

Often times, our theme scripture has been quoted as the ‘unforgivable sin’. This has been the basis of a number of contradictory doctrines; it is the reason why some Christians have lived in constant condemnation and why some are convinced that they are damned and destined for hell.

The ultimate question we should be asking is, ‘Can a Born Again Christian blaspheme the Holy Spirit?’

The answer is ‘no.’

A person born of the Spirit is by nature incorruptible and as such cannot blaspheme the very Spirit that begat him(1 Peter 1:23).

When Jesus spoke of this unforgivable sin, He was making reference to non-believers. Once you receive Christ in your spirit, it is impossible for you to sin against the Holy Spirit.

He that is born of God cannot sin(1 John 3:9). It is not in your nature to blaspheme the Holy Spirit.

Live life in this understanding, free of any condemnation.

Of Windows And Ancient Oil

2 Timothy 1:5(KJV); When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that in thee also.

Our theme scripture is a perfect demonstration of the flow of ancient oil; that by eternal default, it must move from an older generation to the next.

You must understand that God opens the windows of heaven to us(windows representing revelation), not just to show us mysteries in His Word and of His Person. Sometimes, these windows are open to us because God is entrusting us with a message so we can pass it on to the next generation.

What this means is that windows also define the progression of ancient oil.

There are men and women of God who did not pass on ancient oil to the next generation because at some point, these windows were closed to these men and women of God. As such, they could not give what they had no access to. Their brooks dried early and they found themselves lacking relevance in subsequent generations.

On the other hand, there are generations that did not receive from older generations because even if the older generations had what to give, the newer generations could not receive ancient oil because the windows of the newer generation were closed.

That is not the true order of the Spirit.

Every generation has its revelation and because the church is moving from glory to glory; every generation must have a deeper revelation than the previous generation. The windows that are open now must be more than the windows that were opened before. The windows that are open now must be clearer than those opened before.

Every generation has its revelation and because the church is moving from glory to glory; every generation must have a deeper revelation than the previous generation. The windows that are open now must be more than the windows that were opened before. The windows that are open now must be clearer than those opened before.

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank you for this great Word. Thank you because what you have placed in me cannot and will not end with me. It is impacting generations to come. My windows are open enough to pass on ancient oil; years from now, people will receive from me because I walk in this understanding. In Jesus’ name, Amen

To Search The Mysteries

1 Corinthians 2:10(KJV); But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

The Spirit of God searches the deep things of God.

Often, when this scripture is quoted, some people think of mysteries about the person of God and His Word. This is true but there is more to it, child of God.

There are ideas that are yet to be born; innovations yet to be created; theories yet to be established. Even these fall in the realm of mysteries and the Spirit of God reveals these too.

What is the cure to the world’s incurable diseases? That is a mystery and God wants to reveal it to you.

What has technology failed to solve in your nation? God wants to reveal that to you too.

The Bible says that wisdom begets inventions(Proverbs 8:12). The Spirit of God is a fountain of wisdom.

Ideas, innovations and creations are born in the places of communion. If you must change the world with a ground breaking solution, learn to cultivate a relationship with the Spirit of God.

To Keep The Windows Open – 3

Malachi 3:10(KJV); Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

Every access to the windows of heaven gives us an assignment and places us in the position of responsibility to fulfill divine purpose.

Because one is living in the assignment that God has ordained for their life, certain tragedies cannot destroy or end their lives.

For example, as long as your windows are open, even if you are diagnosed with stage IV cancer, it should not worry you.

God has trusted a man to whom windows are open with deep truths and as such, He cannot allow such a man to merely die with these great deposits. The scriptures reveal that the eyes of the Lord preserve knowledge(Proverbs 22:12). When these windows are open to you, He preserves you.

Look at the pattern of the lives of the men who had access to these windows. Their lives were never taken from them, they laid them down once they knew that they were done with their assignments on the earth.

Christ gave up His life, it was not taken(John 10:18). Paul was torn betwixt whether to stay in the body or to depart and be with Christ. He survived beatings and death because what was in him determined when He would leave the earth.

When such a man decides to die, he can make bold statements like , ‘For I am being poured out like an offering'(2 Timothy 4:6 amp). He doesn’t define it as death but as a pouring out because he knows that in him, God has put too much!

How much access you have to the windows of heaven gives you the liberty to decide how long you want to live; they place in your hands the choice between life and death.
