God Is Revelational Not Emotional

Genesis 21: 16-17 (KJV); And she went, and sat her down over against him a good way off, as it were a bowshot: for she said, Let me not see the death of the child. And she sat over against him, and lift up her voice, and wept. And God heard the voice of the lad; and the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said unto her, What aileth thee, Hagar? fear not; for God hath heard the voice of the lad where he is.
One of the faithful truths from the scriptures is that our God is a God of PRINCIPLES and because He is, He never disregards these principles simply because we are emotional over certain things.
God is not emotional, He is REVELATIONAL!
In places of ignorance, emotions precede revelation. However, there is a place where revelation MUST precede emotion.
God is not obliged to respond emotionally to a person who has chosen to ignore the principles that He himself has set.
Take the example of Hagar in our theme scripture. She reacted emotionally to the impending death of her son.
The Bible reveals that she put him away and wept because they were out of water.
And the angel of the Lord called unto her and asked, “why do you weep Hagar: The Lord has heard the VOICE OF THE LAD.”
God was not moved by Hagar’s tears; He was moved by the voice of Ishmael, the SEED of Abraham (the man of faith).
From the testimony of Luke 8:11; the SEED (as represented by Ishmael) is the Word of God.
God therefore responds more to the Word of faith rather than to your emotions if they are without revelation.
If you are overwhelmed by emotion, weep with the Word! Never put the Word away from you.
FURTHER STUDY: Romans 10:2, Romans10:8
GOLDEN NUGGET:
God responds more to the Word of faith than your emotions without revelation.
PRAYER: Father I thank you for your word. I thank you because it is bringing forth fruit in my life. Every situation bows to the Word in me. I refuse to be moved by what I see, feel, hear and touch. I respond to circumstances in faith. I never put the Word away from me and it never departs from my lips. By it, I see results in my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Paul urges the saints to pray for him that God may open up for him a door of utterance. This is more than an opportunity to preach the gospel.
In this life of the gospel, I have seen the bonds of men with mysteries.
Men are destroyed because we, His saints and priesthood have rejected knowledge; the knowledge that the scriptures make reference to is revelation knowledge (Hosea 4:6).
It is deception to think that simply because people have seen the demonstration of power, then they have understood the GOD of POWER.
The Word and power of God are always consonant. Wherever the Word of God is, there is power.
When the bible speaks of the facets of the love of God (breadth, depth, length and height), it says that “…you might be filled with all the fullness OF God” NOT the fullness IN God.
Moses’ parents had the spiritual insight to understand that he was more than an ordinary child.
Prophecy reveals that wonders are demonstrated in the heavens and on the earth BECAUSE the Lord poured out His Spirit upon the saints.
Years ago, we used to joyously sing the song, “Oh when the saints, go marching in, oh when the saints go marching in, Oh Lord I want, to be among the number, oh when the saints go marching in…”
Everything in this world has a place where it is yielded to you and is groaning for your manifestation as a child of God(Romans 8:19).
It is one thing to think you understand the person of the Holy Spirit, it is another to KNOW Him. It is one thing to think He works through you, it is another to KNOW that He works through you.
