The Righteousness Of Faith
Apostle Grace Lubega
Romans 10:6-8(KJV); But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:) Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.) But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach.
When we speak of the righteousness of Faith, it is not only about that which has removed the sin question.
Righteousness also defines the place of how we stand in the face of the Almighty God.
This righteousness of faith is what makes you RIGHT before God; not merely in the moral sense but with regard to the power and authority He has given to you as a new creature in Christ.
Your nature is incorruptible (1 Peter 1:23); it is for this reason that God has trusted you with such great power and glory.
He knows that you cannot use that power and authority for vice.
He trusts you to know what to do when you meet a lame man because in your execution of divine healing power, you are right!
He trusts you to know what to do in the face of adversity because in your execution of divine judgment, you are right.

GOLDEN NUGGET:
This righteousness of faith is what makes you RIGHT before God; not merely in the moral sense but with regard to the power and authority He has given to you as a new creature in Christ.
PRAYER: Father God, I thank you for the precious gift of righteousness. Thank you for the power and authority in my hands. I walk in the boldness of the knowledge that I am right when I choose to heal the sick, to cast out demons, to demonstrate power and to walk in the supernatural. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Power and authority has been given you as a child of God.
When Moses and the Isarealites found themselves stranded between the Red sea and an advancing Egyptian army, Moses assumed that God Himself would swoop down in might and power and come to their rescue.
To think that you are merely a vessel that God is using may be rationally true but not revelationally true.
It is a law of the Spirit that every time you sow to the flesh, you reap corruption and every time you sow to the Spirit, you reap life everlasting.
When Paul was strolling through Athens, his heart was grieved by the extent of idolatry in that city.
Idols are not merely the inanimate objects that people worship.
The Word of God is sure. Our theme scripture calls it the ‘sure word of prophecy.’
Jehovah was the King of Israel. He had a plan to eventually give Israel a king but that would be in His own time.
Our circumcision is the stripping off of the body of the flesh (the whole corrupt, carnal nature with its passions and lusts).
God has called and mandated each of us in the body of Christ differently.
Every believer has a calling upon his or her life and an office in which he or she operates, either as an apostle, prophet, teacher, evangelist or pastor.
