The Power Of Opportunity – 4
Apostle Grace Lubega
Ecclesiastes 9:11(KJV); I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.
There are no coincidences when it comes to opportunity. You must know how to open doors for your sake.
This is what makes the life of faith deliberate and not a matter of chance and luck. No one stumbles into success or greatness. If they do so, they will also stumble out of it.
Opportunity does not waste time with the timid and unprepared. In fact, if you are unprepared and the spotlight of success is ever trained on you, you will not be able to hide your unpreparedness.
When you look through the scriptures, you will find a pattern of deliberation for the men and women who received from Christ by faith.
The friends of the paralytic man broke through a roof (Luke 5:17-39). That was deliberate.
The woman with the issue of blood reached for the hem of his garment, that was deliberate (Luke 8:43-48).
Blind Bartimaeus called out to the Lord and ignored those who asked him to be quiet (Mark 10:46-52).
Opportunity is not for the passive who sit idly waiting for something to happen.
It is for those who climb out of their comfort zones, defy the odds and reach out for destiny.
What do you want to achieve?
Where do you want to go? What do you want to build? Who do you want to become?
Step out in faith. Do the things that point you to destiny. Act like a man or woman on a mission to greatness. Start that business, take that job and roll out that idea.
The doors of opportunity respond to those who are deliberate in faith.

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank you for the power of opportunity. There is great potential inside me. I step out in faith to do the great things you have ordained for my sake. Success is mine because I am deliberate. Greatness and increase are mine because I am deliberate. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

If you want to embrace the power of opportunity, never take lightly the man who gives you the slightest chance to express your potential.
In this life, I have learnt that the fastest man by the standards of the world might not necessarily be the fastest man. The fastest man might be in the remotest part of the world, sprinting for miles across grasslands as he moves from village to village.
There are many people in this life who have prepared themselves for great things but have never had the opportunity to be who they want to be. They have studied hard for years, obtained master’s degrees and yet they do not have jobs.
The essence of the Word of God is to help you seize your time in the spirit.
You are one with God, because you are, you hear His language.
Christ is spoken of as the lamb upon the throne(Revelation 5:6). In this regard, he represents humility exalted on high.
The windows of heaven open to men who know how to treat revelation.
The Hebrew word for blessing in our theme scripture is ‘berakah.’ This is translated to mean among other things, ‘source of blessing.’
Our theme scripture reveals another essence of the windows of heaven. They grant access to the power that makes one a potent oracle of God.
The first time the windows of heaven are mentioned, God points us to the judgments of grace.
It is possible to walk under open heavens. However, heavens do not open over congregations; they open over individuals.
