The Power Of Opportunity – 4

Apostle Grace Lubega

Ecclesiastes 9:11(KJV); I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.

The Power Of Opportunity – 4There are no coincidences when it comes to opportunity. You must know how to open doors for your sake.

This is what makes the life of faith deliberate and not a matter of chance and luck. No one stumbles into success or greatness. If they do so, they will also stumble out of it.

Opportunity does not waste time with the timid and unprepared. In fact, if you are unprepared and the spotlight of success is ever trained on you, you will not be able to hide your unpreparedness.

When you look through the scriptures, you will find a pattern of deliberation for the men and women who received from Christ by faith.

The friends of the paralytic man broke through a roof (Luke 5:17-39). That was deliberate.

The woman with the issue of blood reached for the hem of his garment, that was deliberate (Luke 8:43-48).

Blind Bartimaeus called out to the Lord and ignored those who asked him to be quiet (Mark 10:46-52).

Opportunity is not for the passive who sit idly waiting for something to happen.

It is for those who climb out of their comfort zones, defy the odds and reach out for destiny.

What do you want to achieve?
Where do you want to go? What do you want to build? Who do you want to become?

Step out in faith. Do the things that point you to destiny. Act like a man or woman on a mission to greatness. Start that business, take that job and roll out that idea.

The doors of opportunity respond to those who are deliberate in faith.

FURTHER STUDY: Luke 5:17-39, Luke 8:43-48

GOLEN NUGGET:

There are no coincidences when it comes to opportunity. No one stumbles into success or greatness. If they do so, they will also stumble out of it.

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank you for the power of opportunity. There is great potential inside me. I step out in faith to do the great things you have ordained for my sake. Success is mine because I am deliberate. Greatness and increase are mine because I am deliberate. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The Power Of Opportunity – 3

Apostle Grace Lubega

Ecclesiastes 9:11(KJV); I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.

The Power Of Opportunity - 3If you want to embrace the power of opportunity, never take lightly the man who gives you the slightest chance to express your potential.

The reason why some people miss out on their opportunities is because they ignore this simple but powerful principle.

Take the example of people in the workplace who are given assignments outside their scope of work and have rejected them simply because the tasks are not in their job descriptions. Out of this indifference, they have missed out on opportunities to learn and to grow.

There are people in ministry who have been asked to serve in one capacity or another and have trodden on such opportunities because they wanted the limelight and not the back door tasks.

By this alone, they turned their backs on greatness because they did not understand that every beginning is a door and one’s faithfulness in the little promotes them to the next level.

How about the people you interact with? Some in abusing the authority of their bosses have turned their destinies in the wrong direction. Others by neglecting instructions from their spiritual authorities have scorned at the spirit of greatness and shut the doors of their opportunities.

Respect every beginning and the man who gives it to you. Do everything you are tasked to do as though it is the greatest task you will ever perform. Serve with zeal and fervency.

With this attitude, nothing on the surface of the earth can keep you from your God given destiny.

Glory to God!

FURTHER STUDY: Hebrews 6:10, Zechariah 4:10

GOLDEN NUGGET:

If you want to embrace the power of opportunity, never take lightly the man who gives you the slightest chance to express your potential.

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank you for this great wisdom. I receive it with all humility and embrace it as the standard of my life. I give honour where honour is due and treat with respect those you have placed above me. Thank you for every opportunity that comes my way. I embrace it with understanding and serve with diligence. To the glory of your name, Amen.

The Power Of Opportunity – 2

Apostle Grace Lubega

Ezekiel 22:30(KJV); And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.

The Power Of Opportunity – 2In this life, I have learnt that the fastest man by the standards of the world might not necessarily be the fastest man. The fastest man might be in the remotest part of the world, sprinting for miles across grasslands as he moves from village to village.

It is possible that the fastest swimmer is not the man we watch during the olympics. The fastest swimmer might presently not even know how to swim. If he can swim, he might be doing so in lakes and rivers while hunting for his next meal. That man may leave this earth and never know that he was its greatest swimmer.

The greatest artists might not be the ones on television but men and women too hidden from the public eye for the world to know that they exist.

How is this so? These men and women do not have the opportunity.

How then does one unlock the doors of opportunity?

One of the principles of unlocking the doors of opportunity is availability because the Spirit of greatness responds to yielded men and not merely talented men.

There are men who are available to their families, available for their jobs, available to their businesses but they are not available to greatness.

Opportunity responds to a man who is available to greatness. A man available to greatness lives his life with a vision of his future in mind. There are sacrifices he makes because of the future he sees. Such a man knows that where he presently is, is not where he will end.

FURTHER STUDY: Ecclesiastes 9:11, Romans 12:11

GOLDEN NUGGET:
Opportunity responds to a man who is available to greatness. Such a man knows that where he presently is, is not where he will end.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for this Word. Thank you for the opportunities you have laid before me, for the great things that I must do in this world. I am available for your work and purpose because there is nothing greater than serving God. I never lag in zeal, I am fervent in spirit, in doing the will of my Father. To the glory of your name, Amen.

The Power Of Opportunity – 1

Apostle Grace Lubega

Ecclesiastes 9:11(KJV); I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.

The Power Of Opportunity – 1There are many people in this life who have prepared themselves for great things but have never had the opportunity to be who they want to be. They have studied hard for years, obtained master’s degrees and yet they do not have jobs.

There are men with the ability to work in certain positions but men with less ability have occupied those positions.

There are men and women with great voices who have never recorded an album or stood on platforms where their crafts can be appreciated.

In our theme scripture, the Bible reveals that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither bread to the wise but time and chance happen to them all.

This means that opportunities are available to us all.

Opportunity is the only blessing that allows a man to release his hidden potential. If this potential is not released, the person will be like a pregnant woman who has exceeded the nine months of pregnancy and has entered the tenth month without bringing forth her child.

We all have the ability to express our potential through the power of opportunity.

God has not designed for you to have too much in you and yet not have the platform to express it.

He has not placed treasure in you and not created the place for you to shine. He has not anointed you to hide you. He did not light you and put you under a bushel.

He made you light and set you as a city on a hill. He lit your spirit so that gentiles can come to your rising. He wrote your story so you can be read by all men.

What is in you must come forth. What God has invested in your spirit must manifest. That is your portion and story.

Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Matthew 5:14, 2 Corinthians 3:2

GOLDEN NUGGET:

God has not designed you to have too much in you and yet not have the platform to express it. He has not placed treasure in you and not created the place for you to shine. He has not anointed you to hide you. He did not light you and put you under a bushel.

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank you for this knowledge. I know that great doors are opened to me because I never underestimate the power of opportunity. The world will see the greatness in me and know that I am called of God. I live a full life because I manifest all that you have placed inside me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Seize Your Time

Apostle Grace Lubega

Ephesians 5:16(KJV); Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

Seize Your TimeThe essence of the Word of God is to help you seize your time in the spirit.

Everytime revelation comes, it redeems spiritual time because the Spirit of revelation releases God’s redemptive power.

What this means is that eternity does any thing possible to favour every event on the earth for the sake of the men who know how to receive the Word.

This is the grace that puts you ahead of your peers because the timing of the events of your life are aligned to eternal milestones.

When you seize your time in the Spirit by virtue of the Word, your success will not be an accident.

If your success is not an accident, it is calculated and deliberate to the glory of God.

Receive the Word in the understanding that with it always comes the power to redeem time.

Glory to God!

FURTHER STUDY: Ecclesiastes 3:11, Ephesians 1:17

GOLDEN NUGGET:

Everytime revelation comes, it redeems spiritual time because the Spirit of revelation releases God’s redemptive power.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for this Word. I thank you because I am perfectly in tune with the timing of eternity. Everytime I receive the Word, opportunities are opened to me. I walk through the right doors at the right time because of this understanding. To the glory of your name, Amen.

The Language Of God

Apostle Grace Lubega

1 Corinthians 6:17 (KJV); But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.

The Language Of GodYou are one with God, because you are, you hear His language.

When you understand the language of God,  He will not need to speak much to instruct you, you will hear much more than He speaks because you are one with Him.

Look at Isaiah the Prophet’s experience. He never heard where he was sent to go, he only asked to be sent, (Isaiah 6:8-9).  He was not a man with too much zeal that he neglected to ask where He was being sent. He understood the language of God, that when God asked, “Whom shall I send and who shall go for us?”, Isaiah knew where to go. It didn’t matter what transpired in that heavenly meeting before his arrival; he knew where to go.

Isaiah was a man under the Old Covenant. How much more you under the New Testamant?!

God’s language is not understood by mere men. He is a spirit, as such His language is a spiritual language.

God knows every human language. He can talk to you in any of them. However,  the most important thing about God speaking to you isn’t the language He spoke; it’s whether your spirit received the words.

Human language appeals to your mind, yet God does not intend to appeal to the mind. He doesn’t need your reasoning capacity to communicate with you. He does not need to put His message in a language that your intellect understands; silence can suffice as communication in the spirit.

Understand your oneness with Him. You will hear more than what He speaks.

Praise Him!

FURTHER STUDY: Deuteronomy 4:36, Psalm 62:11

GOLDEN NUGGET:

When you understand the language of God, He will not need to speak much to instruct you, you will hear much more than He speaks because you are one with Him.

PRAYER: Father God, I thank you for this great insight. I thank you for the ability to hear and recognise your voice. I understand the language of the Spirit, beyond words. I hear the instruction in your breath, in your touch and even in your silence. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

Of Humility

Apostle Grace Lubega

James 4:6(KJV); But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.

Of HumilityChrist is spoken of as the lamb upon the throne(Revelation 5:6). In this regard, he represents humility exalted on high.

God honours and lifts up the humble.

Christ stood in this place of power, far above all dominions and powers because He humbled Himself even unto death(Phillipians 2:8).

In this, He set a pattern for the Church.

The journey to the top is an extremely humbling one, child of God. One is tested, tried, proved and broken.

The character that comes with success is defined by humility.

If you ever find a proud man at the top, such a one skipped certain steps and patterns to get to that place. It is only a matter of time, they will come tumbling down because pride comes before a fall(Proverbs 16:18).

FURTHER STUDY:Philippians 2:8, Matthew 23:12

GOLDEN NUGGET:

The character that comes with success is defined by humility.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for what you are doing in me. I yield my spirit to your working in me. I break and bend to your every instruction because I know that therein is life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The Windows Of Heaven – 4

Apostle Grace Lubega

Ephesians 1:17 (AMP); [For I always pray to] the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, that He may grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation [of insight into mysteries and secrets] in the [deep and intimate] knowledge of Him.

The windows of heaven open to men who know how to treat revelation.

Every revelation comes with a responsibility. That is why it is important that you receive it as a pearl, treasure and a priceless gift.

You must examine yourself with some deep soul searching questions. For example, when revelation comes to you, do you receive it merely to aid you in building a house? Does it come to you so you can get a promotion? Do you receive it so you can find a husband or wife? What is the value you place on these deep spiritual insights into the person of God?

This value is shaped by the desires that lead you to search out the word and the scriptures. Some search the scriptures to find how to build a business but there are those who search because they want God.

Some search the scriptures to find ways to attract wealth, but there are those who hunger for He in whom are hid all treasures.

Some search to find a spouse but there is one who is searching for the Lord to whom she is already espoused.

He opens the windows of heaven to those who hunger for what His heart can reveal and not what His hand can give.

His name be praised!

FURTHER STUDY: Hebrews 6:9, Matthew 6:33

GOLDEN NUGGET:

Every revelation comes with a responsibility that is why it is important that you receive it as a pearl, treasure and a priceless gift.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank you for this knowledge. Your word is my treasure and source of all strength. I receive it in wisdom, as your very person because you are your word. I honour it in all that I do even as it defines my responses in all the areas of my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The Windows Of Heaven – 3

Apostle Grace Lubega

Malachi 3:10(AMP); Bring all the tithes (the whole tenth of your income) into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and prove Me now by it, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

The Windows Of Heaven - 3The Hebrew word for blessing in our theme scripture is ‘berakah.’ This is translated to mean among other things, ‘source of blessing.’

When the windows of heaven are opened to you, you become more than a blessing, you are a source of blessings. It makes you a gift in your generation because you are not just a receiver but a giver.

The scripture goes on to say that ‘…there shall not be room enough to receive it.’

These windows cause God to pour something upon you that nothing can contain. If it is an economy, you override it; if it an institution you become bigger than it; if it is a nation, you are greater than it!

Because of the windows of heaven, you benefit every one! They are the reason you overflow with power, wisdom and knowledge!

Glory to God!

FURTHER STUDY: Ephesians 3:20, Psalm 23:5

GOLDEN NUGGET :

When the windows of heaven are opened to you, you become more than a blessing, you are a source of blessings.

PRAYER: Father I thank you! What a beautiful truth to know that the windows of heaven are open to me. Thank you for the graces of revelation that have made me the source of strength, source of wisdom and source of power. I benefit many, I bless my generation, I change my nation. To the glory of your name, Amen.

The Windows Of Heaven – 2

Apostle Grace Lubega

2 Kings 7:1-2(KJV); Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the Lord; Thus saith the Lord, Tomorrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria. Then a lord on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said, Behold, if the Lord would make windows in heaven, might this thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof.

The Windows Of Heaven - 2Our theme scripture reveals another essence of the windows of heaven. They grant access to the power that makes one a potent oracle of God.

The Prophet Elisha declared what the price of barley and fine flour would be. A man questioned this decree, asking, ‘If the Lord would make windows in heaven, might this thing be?’

Herein is a deep divine truth; when the windows of heaven are opened to you, God gives authority to your words. This is why Elisha responded to the man and said, ‘Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof.’

These windows give potency to the words you utter. Your word has the power to change a social system, a political system, and any other system of this world.

These windows ensure that no idle word escapes your lips because they give your words power.

Your words speak to tumours and they disappear; they speak to cancers and they leave, to HIV and it scatters, to bones and they come to order, to economies and they respond, to technologies and they advance in your favour, to nations and lands and they yield their fruit and substance to you, to wombs and they bring forth children.

Potency in the oracle!

Whatsoever you bind on the earth is bound in heaven. Whatsoever you loose on the earth is loosed in heaven(Matthew 16:19).You decree a thing and it is established(Job 22:28).

This is your portion, in Jesus name!

FURTHER STUDY: Matthew 16:19, Job 22:28

GOLDEN NUGGET:
When the windows of heaven are opened to you, God gives authority to your words

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank you for this word. Thank you because my words carry power. I speak to circumstances and they change. I speak to seas and they split. I speak to mountains and they bow. Windows are open to me and heaven is ready to respond on my behalf. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The Windows Of Heaven – 1

Apostle Grace Lubega

Genesis 7:11(KJV); In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.

The Windows Of Heaven - 1The first time the windows of heaven are mentioned, God points us to the judgments of grace.

We see that the windows were opened this first time to release waters upon the earth.

Why does this experience in scripture reveal the judgments of grace? It is because by the law of first mention(which is a law of biblical interpretation), the word grace first appears in the scriptures in regard to Noah. The Bible in Genesis 6:8 says, ‘But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.’

He found grace because he believed and this was counted as righteousness. The difference between Noah and the men of his generation was faith. In Hebrews 11:7, the Bible says, ‘By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.’

This teaches us that these windows of heaven are preservers of the just, men who believe because the just are those that live by faith(Hebrews 10:38).

The same windows that killed others in the flood, floated a man and his household to salvation because he believed God.

When the windows of heaven are opened to you, they will keep you from sinking. When men fall you will stand; when they drown you will float; when they struggle you will thrive; when their stars dim, yours will shine brighter.

FURTHER STUDY: Genesis 6:8, Hebrews 11:7

GOLDEN NUGGET:

When the windows of heaven are opened to you, they will keep you from sinking. When men fall you will stand, when they drown you will float; when they struggle you will thrive; when stars dim, yours will shine brighter.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for this great wisdom. I thank you for the dispensation of your grace in which I live. Thank you for the simplicity by which you draw us and keep us. You have bridged the gap between divinity and humanity through this simplicity of faith. I believe you God. I know that the windows of heaven, open to men of faith and I am a child of faith. It is my mark and essence. The world looks at me and sees a believer. To the glory of your name, Amen.

Under Open Heavens

Apostle Grace Lubega

Matthew 3:16(KJV); And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him.

Under Open HeavensIt is possible to walk under open heavens. However, heavens do not open over congregations; they open over individuals.

This was the divine reality demonstrated by our theme scripture.

The shores of river Jordan were full of people who had come to listen to John the Baptist and to be baptised. The Bible does not say that they experienced the open heavens. It says of Christ that the heavens were open UNTO HIM.

A congregation may partake of the results of a man of God’s experience when the heavens are open to him but it will not enjoy the full glory of this experience.

This is what makes faith and salvation personal.

Live life in the understanding that your relationship with God is your own responsibility to cultivate.

FURTHER STUDY: Mathew 6:6, Isaiah 65:24

GOLDEN NUGGET:

It is possible to walk under open heavens. However, heavens do not open over congregations; they open over individuals.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for this Word. Thank you for the places in you that you take me daily. Thank you for the liberties of access that I walk in everyday. Thank you because heaven is my reality. Thank you because my spirit prays from beyond the veil. Thank you because the heavenly seals are open to me. Thank you because the throne room is open to me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
