To Honour His Grace
Apostle Grace Lubega
Psalm 138:8(KJV); The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.
Just because we are in the grace dispensation does not mean that we take sin lightly. Sin was such a serious issue to heaven and to eternity that it required God to come in the flesh and die for the salvation of mankind.
It is this seriousness that reminds us to have a reverence and honour for the grace of God. It means that we do not deliberately and knowingly do that which is wrong in the eyes of God merely because we are under the grace of God.
The Bible says, ‘Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.'(James 4:17).
Even though we are perfect in spirit by virtue of regeneration by Christ, in the flesh, we are all a work in progress. God is working to perfect us. It is our responsibility to allow Him to deal with our individual areas of weakness. It is wrong to have the attitude of one who can only allow the Spirit to deal with some aspects of our lives and refuse Him to deal with others because we do not feel the need to change.
You might not be perfect today but have the attitude of a man who has allowed God to continue working in him to perfection.
Let Him search your heart and break what must be broken to build what must be built.

GOLDEN NUGGET:
Even though we are perfect in spirit by virtue of regeneration by Christ, in the flesh, we are all a work in progress. God is working to perfect us. It is our responsibility to allow Him to deal with our individual areas of weakness.
PRAYER: Loving Father, thank you for this Word. Thank you for your abundant grace that you so lavishly bestowed upon me. I respect and honour it and never take it in vain. I yield to the working of your Spirit in me, to deal with me, teach me, to give me the strength to walk away from what I must walk away from. I will be better tomorrow than I am today because I have trusted your working power in me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
