2 Timothy 2:5(KJV); And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.
Mastery has laws, mediocracy is a lawless vice. This is why our theme scripture so clearly puts it, that if a man strives for masteries, he is only crowned if he strives LAWFULLY.
A master wins by a set of rules. A mediocre person wants to circumvent the disciplines yet claim the crown of victory.
These laws of mastery are not meant to hold us in the shackles of predictability. Rather, they paint the principles and patterns tested by time that have defined mastery in spirit and over the course of human history.
The reason why they are laws is because they are absolute in their effects. For example, in the natural world, gravity is a law. What you throw into the air comes back down.
In mastery, an example of a law is the law of diligence. Diligence is absolute in its effect because many things in this life yield to it. In Proverbs 22:29, the Bible says, ” Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.”
The language herein is SHALL, not may or might but SHALL. That is an expression of absoluteness.
God has not called you to languish in mediocrity. He has set in place clear boundaries within which mastery thrives. If you want to be a master in your area of ministry, career, business or any aspiration in life, study, give yourself to, exercise yourself in these laws because they carry guaranteed results.
Hallelujah!
FURTHER STUDY: 1 Corinthians 9:25, Proverbs 22:29
GOLDEN NUGGET: A master wins by a set of rules. A mediocre person wants to circumvent the disciplines yet claim the crown of victory.
PRAYER: Father, I thank You for this Word. I thank You because I understand mastery and how it comes. I am a diligent student of the things that make masters and that elevate us to greatness. I give myself wholly to these things and in this, I greatly profit the kingdom. In Jesus’ name, Amen

1 John 4:8(AMP); He who does not love has not become acquainted with God [does not and never did know Him], for God is love.
True success is in the revelation of love. This is the love of God toward us and all men.
People who lay a claim to success without understanding love will always use their success as a weapon for the destruction of others.
There is a glass ceiling over everyone who seeks success as a form of revenge.
When you see success through the lens of love, you will understand that it is a responsibility and that by it, you demonstrate God’s love to the world.
Why do you think some of the richest people in the world carry the heart of philanthropy? Is it because they have money to simply give away? No! It is because whether consciously or unconsciously, their success was begotten by love.
Our degrees and academic qualifications can never change the world. Money on its own can never change the world. No amount of political power can change the world. Only love has the power and capacity to transform humanity.
When God elevates you and causes you to shine, when He increases the circumference of your influence, when He sets you above many as a pioneer and a policymaker, in all these things, let His love shine through you because godly success finds its expression in love.
Hallelujah!
FURTHER STUDY: 1 John 4:16, 1 Corinthians 13
GOLDEN NUGGET: When God elevates you and causes you to shine, when He increases the circumference of your influence, when He sets you above many as a pioneer and a policymaker, in all these things, let His love shine through you because godly success finds its expression in love.
PRAYER: Father, I thank You for this great Word. I am begotten by Your love and it shines through everything that I do. In all my pursuits, Your love takes centre stage, constraining me to be patient, kind, long-suffering and to believe in people. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Proverbs 14:6(KJV); A scorner seeketh wisdom, and findeth it not: but knowledge is easy unto him that understandeth.
Serendipity is an interesting word coined in 1754 by the English writer, Horace Walpole from the fairy tale, “The three Princes of Serendip” whose heroes kept discovering things they were not looking for.
It is a term that very much applies to daily life and the things that make a difference between bright and dim stars.
Think about it this way: you are in desperate need of the contact of a person who will help you close a very big deal. When you visit a mall, a nudge in your spirit compels you to go into a certain clothes shop. While there, with no apparent interest in the display, the person, whom you have been looking for like a needle in a haystack appears and the two of you strike a conversation that you need for that big break. That is serendipity!
It works for some and almost never works for others.
Our theme scripture draws a parallel between two kinds of people: those who seek for certain things and never find them and those who find and are found by those very things.
It is not the portion of the believer to seek and never find. It is his portion to find and be found even without seeking. Favour must find you; success must find you; opportunity must find you; increase must find you!
Our Lord Jesus Christ, a babe in arms, who had not yet grown in wisdom and stature, had his star shining so brightly that it attracted wise men from the East to bless Him(Matthew 2:1-2). Why? Because attraction is a default setting for the child of God.
This is the consciousness that you must carry as a star of the kingdom. Serendipity works for those who understand that they were designed by God to attract the things that they need.
Hallelujah!
FURTHER STUDY: Isaiah 60:3, Matthew 5:14
GOLDEN NUGGET: It is not the portion of the believer to seek and never find. It is his portion to find and be found even without seeking. Favour must find you; success must find you; opportunity must find you; increase must find you!
PRAYER: Father, I thank You for this wisdom. My star is polished and it shines with the brightness of eternal glory. Kings come to my rising and to my light. The things that I need for growth and for my next opportunity find me effortlessly. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Zechariah 8:23(KJV); Thus saith the LORD of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you.
As a child of God, you have been called to an incorruptible inheritance (1 Peter 1:4). This is why you should never compare yourself to anyone in this world. Settle it in your heart that no one outside the kingdom of God is better than you. Heaven, earth and hell know it.
How about you? Do you know what it means to be born of God and not of flesh and blood? (John 1:13) Do you understand how expensively you were purchased? Do you understand how fearfully and wonderfully you were made? (Psalm 139:14).
Our theme scripture says that people from various nations shall take a hold of your skirt and beg to go with you because God is with you.
This means that it is not you seeking an association with the men of this world, begging for selfies and desperate for them to mention your name in the right ears so you can have your next big break.
It is those of the fallen world that should look to you for opportunity; it is those that should be desperate to associate with you.
Why? You have God!
Yes, they may have a larger bank account, but you have God! Yes, they may have connections and networks, but you have God! Yes, they may have influence, but you have God!
The world is in darkness and you are the light(Matthew 5:14). Simply build your inner man and the world will turn to you because everyone in darkness needs and looks to the light.
Hallelujah!
FURTHER STUDY: 1 Peter 1:4, John 1:13
GOLDEN NUGGET: The world is in darkness and you are the light. Simply build your inner man and the world will turn to you because everyone in darkness needs and looks to the light.
PRAYER: Father, I thank You for this Word. I know who I am and whose I am. Kings come to my rising and Gentiles to my light. The world is looking for a story of hope and it reads it in the pages of my life. The world is looking for a story of greatness and it sees it in Your glory shining through me. I live as one set apart for power, glory and honour. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

John 1:16(KJV); And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.
One day, years ago, before I received the full revelation of what Christ did at Calvary, I asked the Lord to anoint me for a service before I could minister to the people. The Lord told me never to ask Him to anoint me but rather to meditate on what He has already done in me.
I have learnt and lived with the principle over the years that everything a child of God will ever need for ministry, growth and success is inside you.
God in His infinite wisdom placed the world in your heart that you will never need to go outside the treasures in you to find purpose and fulfilment.
But how often do people assume that what is within them is insufficient? They seek God from the point of insufficiency, they give to the work of the gospel from the point of insufficiency and they serve in ministry with the same attitude.
Our theme scripture does not say that we received half so that we can seek Him for the other half. It does not say that when God gave to us, He only gave us in part so that we spend the rest of our lives figuring out where the other part should come from. Rather, He said, “OF HIS FULLNESS HAVE WE RECEIVED.”
Whatever you need is available, not in half measures but in fullness. Arise to this consciousness and live life as one who is full, overflowing and coming short in nothing.
Hallelujah!

GOLDEN NUGGET:
Everything a child of God will ever need for ministry, growth and success is inside you. God in His infinite wisdom placed the world in your heart that you will never need to go outside the treasures in you to find purpose and fulfilment.
PRAYER: Father, I thank You for this knowledge. When I received Christ and embraced His grace, I received His fullness. I minister, serve, pray and worship in the fullness of God. Because my life is of fullness, I am a blessing to my generation and the generations to come. To the glory of your name, Amen.

Judges 7:2-3(AMP); The Lord said to Gideon, The people who are with you are too many for Me to give the Midianites into their hands, lest Israel boast about themselves against Me, saying, My own hand has delivered me. So now proclaim in the ears of the men, saying, Whoever is fearful and trembling, let him turn back and depart from Mount Gilead. And 22,000 of the men returned, but 10,000 remained.
In spiritual warfare, the first thing to lose must be fear.
It doesn’t matter how big your army is, if you are surrounded by fear, you are bound to be defeated.
Look at Gideon and his army. He thought he had warriors ready for battle, men who were daring enough to face whatsoever would come their way on the battlefield.
Alas!
He posed the question of who was afraid and fearful and he lost twenty-two thousand men in one go.
The lesson from Gideon’s experience translates into many areas of our Christian life.
Some people seem so enamoured: they have the physical strength, the academic qualifications and the connections to achieve but wrapped up in all these external strengths is the spirit of fear. Some times, fear is so hidden that what we have physically blinds us to its presence.
If you are ever faced with any negative situation, a daunting task or a scary enemy, deal with any form of fear in your spirit before you take on that issue.
This you do by meditating on God’s love revealed in Christ, acknowledging everything that has been given you in him, and by reminding your spirit that your victory was finished at Calvary.
Hallelujah!

John 16:13(KJV); Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
After Jesus died, descended into hell, smashed the enemy, put him in his place and led captivity captive, He handed to us the reigns of victory.
The eternal consequence is that anything that the enemy attempted to do and still attempts to do after Christ’s resurrection is a lie.
Disease in the New Testament is a lie from the devil. Poverty in the New Testament is a lie. Every form of affliction is a lie! In Ephesians 6:11, the Bible calls them “wiles”.
This is one of the reasons why Christ, before His ascension promised His disciples the Spirit of truth.
It is the Spirit that reminds us that the Lord became poor that we may be rich(2 Corinthians 8:9). He dispels the lie of poverty with the truth of divine wealth. It is the Spirit that reminds us that by His stripes we were healed(1 Peter 2:24). He dispels the lie of illness with the truth of divine health.
Suffering takes on the form of absolute reality when we fail to see it through the eyes of Christ’s victory.
Today, the Spirit reminds us that we overcame. We are alive to the dispensation of truth!
Hallelujah!

Judges 7:2(KJV); And the LORD said unto Gideon, The people that are with thee are too many for me to give the Midianites into their hands, lest Israel vaunt themselves against me, saying, Mine own hand hath saved me.
Gideon was all set for battle against the Midianites with an impressive army of thirty-two thousand men.
The Lord told him that those people were too many for Him to give Gideon victory. He cut the number down to three hundred men!
How does this translate to the life of the Christian?
There are Christians with too many connections for God to help them; they are ‘too educated’ for God to raise them up . There is too much around them that gives them comfort and security for them to depend entirely on God.
God does not want to win your battles on your terms. He doesn’t want to use your connections as a stepping stone to launch you into your destiny. He doesn’t want to lean on your credentials to open doors for you. He wants the world to look at your success story and come to only one conclusion, that it was Him alone at work in you.
Are you clinging too hard to your abilities, your friends, your relatives, or your academic papers? All that is too much for God to give you victory in that war.
Don’t set your eyes on what you have, set your eyes on Him, He is the ultimate source of victory.
Hallelujah!

I choose to live life fully on your terms and not my own. You are my connector, you are my door and you are my opportunity. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Hebrews 11:3(KJV); Through faith, we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
Worlds were created and framed by the Word of God.
This means that the degree of the revelation of the Word in your spirit defines the world in which you function.
For example, the law is a world. It is more than a doctrine or a teaching, it is a world.
In Hebrews 7:28, the Bible says, “For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated forevermore.”
If you are under the law, your world will always be subject to infirmity. Everything you do will always be tainted by weakness, deficiency, frailty and inability.
Infirmity will always shape your view of the world. You will see the world as a place of toil and the struggle to get by.
When you shift from the law to grace, your world also changes. Your perspective of life becomes different. You look at the world through the eyes of a victor, one above and not beneath, the head and never a tail and as one who can do all things by Christ who strengthens us.
I urge you this day to embrace grace, make it your world, allow it to dictate your point of view, your ideals, perspectives and your dreams.
God’s name be praised!

John 5:5-7(KJV); And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years. When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole? The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.
It is vital and extremely critical for every child of God to walk in the graces of distinction. When a man does not walk in these graces, he inevitably submits himself to the dictates of merit.
What merit does is that the first man takes it all. A child of God struggling under the burden of merit can only hope to be lucky; he or she survives by competition.
This was part of the dilemma of the man at the pool of Bethesda. He was lacking in distinction and operating at the same level as many people at the pool. The disastrous effect was an infirmity spanning thirty-eight long years.
What a tragedy!
The fact of life is that there will always be someone who will get into the pool before you: someone who applied for the job before you; someone who prayed before you; someone who fasted before you; someone who read before you.
When God gives you distinction, you can still have that healing even if you don’t step into the pool; you can have the job whether you applied last for it or didn’t apply for it. You can have that opportunity even when you are the least qualified.
Look at Paul, a man who did not get the opportunity to see Christ in the flesh. He says of himself that he was as one born out of due time (1 Corinthians 15:8). But what did distinction do for him? He wrote almost three-quarters of the New Testament, out writing those that walked with Christ, ate with Him, and saw Him perform miracles.
You must settle it in your spirit that you are different. You may look like and talk like everyone around you but you are special! There is a great and mighty call of God upon your life. Greatness is in the inside of you and is bubbling, waiting to burst forth.
Hallelujah!

GOLDEN NUGGET: You must settle it in your spirit that you are different. You may look like and talk like everyone around you but you are special! There is a great and mighty call of God upon your life. Greatness is in the inside of you and is bubbling, waiting to burst forth.
PRAYER: Father, I thank You for this knowledge. I arise to the reality of what I am and what I have in You. The light that shines out of my spirit has set me apart from ordinary people. I do not qualify for greatness by merit; I qualify because of what You have done in me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Job 33:4 (KJV); The spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.
The kingdom of God is not a meritocracy.
Your success, growth, and achievements in the realm of God have nothing to do with how much you do in your own power, your academic qualifications or your impressive disciplines but how much of the revelation of the knowledge of God and His anointing is at work in your spirit and in your life.
Achievers in the realm God are Spirit-made, not self-made. The anointing upon your life will always make the difference.
Take the example of the life of Paul. In 1 Corinthians 2:1, he lays out how inadequate his CV was. He says, “And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.”
In 1 Corinthians 1:26 – 27, he goes on to say, “For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise, and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty.”
God understood the imbalances in the physical world that make any form of competition unfavorable.
Life in its natural state is quite unfair. Not everyone is born with a silver spoon in their mouth; not everyone is from a pedigreed background. Not everyone’s blood is so blue it can be traced right back to the first royals to ever grace the earth.
What did God do? He gave you the Holy Spirit.
Understand that the Spirit of the Lord has made you and by virtue of this truth, you are more than ordinary. It is Him alone who distinguishes you and causes you to shine out of the crowd.
You are as strong, as wise and as distinctive as the Spirit has made you.
Hallelujah!

In the deepest part of my spirit, I carry the conviction that I am peculiar and was born for a higher purpose. My thoughts, speech, and actions are different, I know it and the world sees it. 2 Kings 6:15-17 (AMP); When the servant of the man of God rose early and went out, behold, an army with horses and chariots was around the city. Elisha’s servant said to him, Alas, my master! What shall we do? [Elisha] answered, Fear not; for those with us are more than those with them. Then Elisha prayed, Lord, I pray You, open his eyes that he may see. And the Lord opened the young man’s eyes, and he saw, and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.

One day, the king of Syria, frustrated by how Elisha had singlehandedly breached his military intelligence and had somehow gained an invisible front row seat in the king’s war planning meetings, decided that the next military strategy would be to capture Elisha (2 Kings 6:8-14).
In our theme scripture, Elisha’s servant awakens to an entire army surrounding the city. In a state of despair, he exclaims, “What shall we do?!”
Elisha responds with the calmness of a man with spiritual sight. “Fear not, for those with us are more than those with them.”
The most interesting part of this scripture is that when God opened the eyes of Elisha’s servant, he saw “the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.” They were not around the servant and Elisha, they were not around the city, they were around only Elisha.
By spiritual principle, what you cannot see is not yours to own.
The hosts were there for Elisha’s sake because he was a man of spiritual sight and by divine vision, he was entitled to what he beheld. Possession is the privilege of a man who sees; uncertainty is the kinsman of he who is blind.
Everything you are believing God for becomes yours in the instant it is revealed to you and you see it through the eyes of revelation.
As believers, we don’t just pray. We pray to see.
Hallelujah!

GOLDEN NUGGET: By spiritual principle, what you cannot see is not yours to own. Possession is the privilege of a man who sees; uncertainty is the kinsman of he who is blind.
PRAYER: Father, I thank You for this great truth. You have blessed me with clear sight; I see with distinction. Fear and uncertainty are far from me because I am a man of vision. The spirit of revelation works mightily in me and causes me to behold great and precious promises in Your Word. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
