Things That Make Ministers: How We Fight
Apostle Grace Lubega
1 Timothy 1:18(KJV); This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare;
The words spoken over your life by your spiritual authority are a weapon of war.
The Bible says that with them, you will wage a good warfare.
Paul looked into the future of Timothy his son in the faith and understood that there would come times when his faith would be tested.
His counsel to him was to remember and keep close to his heart the prophecies spoken upon him before.
What makes this ‘a good warfare’ is because often, your spiritual authority has conquered certain spiritual territories.
He has commended his conscience to places in the spirit and these places know him by name.
His words over your life mean that you are dealing with places that have already been tamed by your spiritual cover.
When you understand this, there is no way you can fail, child of God.
Keep in remembrance the words that have been spoken over you. Consider them in times of trial and persecution. The God that your spiritual authority served is the same God that will continually guarantee your victory.
His name be praised!

GOLDEN NUGGET:
The words spoken over your life by your spiritual authority are a weapon of war.
PRAYER: My loving Father, I thank you for this Word. Thank you for those whom you have placed over me, who watch over my soul and give account to you. I honour and respect my spiritual covering and keep the words that have been spoken over my life with diligence and in understanding. My victory in Christ is sure because I have understood this pattern in spiritual warfare. To the glory of your name. Amen.
