The Heritage Of His Servants – 2

Apostle Grace Lubega

2 Samuel 15:23-24(KJV); And all the country wept with a loud voice, and all the people passed over: the king also himself passed over the brook Kidron, and all the people passed over, toward the way of the wilderness. And lo Zadok also, and all the Levites were with him, bearing the ark of the covenant of God: and they set down the ark of God; and Abiathar went up, until all the people had done passing out of the city

The Heritage Of His Servants - 2The Bible speaks of a time when Absalom, King David’s son turned the hearts of Israel against his own father.

He rallied support for his coup by emphasising his father’s weaknesses.

Indeed there was much in David’s past to be ashamed of, things that made him less fit to be a king: he had killed another man and taken his wife. However, he was still the man after God’s own heart.

The Bible reveals that when Absalom attempted to take over his father’s throne, David fled. However, when he left, the covenant box and Zadok the High Priest left with him (2 Samuel 15).

In the Hebrew, the name Zadok means ‘righteous’.

This means that despite all that David had done in the past, despite the fact that Israel had turned against him, despite the fact that he was condemned in the eyes of many, God was still willing to impute righteousness on Him.

Eventually, David’s kingdom was restored to him. If he had accepted condemnation and sunk under its weight, he may never have returned to his throne.

This story sets a pattern of how God looks at his servants. He says in Isaiah 54:17, ‘…their righteousness is of me.’ They are not righteous because of what they do, they are righteous because God has bestowed upon them His very righteousness. He calls this righteousness their heritage.

It is no wonder that it is to David that the revelation of imputed righteousness comes. The Bible says in Romans 4:6-8, ‘Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works, Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.’

God has imputed righteousness upon you.

Even if the entire world turns against you, remember that this righteousness does not last until your next mistake, it is forever.

As you embrace this truth, you will continually stand before God and walk out of any weakness.

Glory to God!

FURTHER STUDY: 2 Corinthians 5:21, Romans 4:8

GOLDEN NUGGET: God has imputed righteousness upon you. Even if the entire world turns against you, remember that this righteousness does not last until your next mistake, it is forever. As you embrace this truth, you will continually stand before God and walk out of any weakness.

PRAYER: Loving Father, I am grateful for this Word. Thank you for your mercies that are unending and are new every morning. Your love is from everlasting to everlasting. I embrace this truth and walk in its understanding. Because I understand and have received righteousness, I live in the continual blessing of God. I stand where some fall. To the glory of your name. Amen.

The Heritage Of His Servants – 1

Apostle Grace Lubega

Isaiah 54:17(KJV); No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.

Every man of God ought to understand the doctrine of righteousness.

It is this very understanding that will cause you to stand in those moments when men have turned against you; when they condemn you and deem you unworthy.

In our theme scripture, God calls this righteousness the heritage of His servants, it is their portion and privilege because they serve Him.

This is very important to God because when a man of God falls, it is not just him that is affected. When you smite the shepherd, the sheep are scattered (Zechariah 13:7).

Where do some of the sheep scatter? There are those Christians who go back into the world because a man of God was not able to stand.

There are some who are drawn back into destructive habits because their pastor was not able to stand.

The man of God is not their God, however, not everyone is mature enough to understand how personal salvation is.

It is not the desire of God to see sheep scattered without a shepherd because that shepherd felt too condemned to stand before Him.

That is why in Romans 14:4 Paul asks, ‘Who are you to judge another’s servant?’
He answers this question and says, ‘To his own master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for God is able to make him stand.’

This does not mean that God condones wrongdoing and pampers evil. God wants His servants to stand regardless of their mistakes.

In the day that the accusers turn their tongues against you and the critics sharpen their pens with glee, an understanding of righteousness will be your shield as a man of God.

FURTHER STUDY: Romans 14:4, Zechariah 13:7

GOLDEN NUGGET:

In the day that the accusers turn their tongues against you, an understanding of righteousness will be your shield as a man of God.

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank you for this knowledge. Thank you for the righteousness that you have imputed upon me. I have received and embraced it as my portion in Christ. I walk in the confidence of one who is loved and forgiven by God. In all things, I choose to stand before you because it is you that holds me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

The Measure Of The Rule

Apostle Grace Lubega

2 Corinthians 10:13-14(KJV); But we will not boast of things without our measure, but according to the measure of the rule which God hath distributed to us, a measure to reach even unto you. For we stretch not ourselves beyond our measure, as though we reached not unto you: for we are come as far as to you also in preaching the gospel of Christ:

The Measure Of The RuleWe reach men by the measure of the rule upon our lives.

This measure is distributed by God and determines how much you influence those that God has given to you.

Every minister of the gospel ought to know how to grow and increase in this. If a man of God does not learn how to grow in it, he will easily feel intimidated by any other minister whom he perceives to be ‘better’ than him.

When a man of God does not know the measure of the rule upon his life, he will be suspicious of other ministers ‘stealing’ his flock.

When a Christian does not know this measure, he will fight every new ministry increasing in his area because he thinks that ministry is encroaching on his territory.

When Christ spoke of those that God had entrusted to him, He said, ‘none shall pluck them out of my hand.’

This is the confidence of a minister who understands the measure. This is what grounds a man of God in the assurance that those God has trusted to his care will never abandon the gospel.

It is what keeps a minister from manipulating anyone to keep them in his ministry.

You grow in this measure by learning to separate the things that are lawful from the things that are beneficial.

You increase in it by being conscious of those moments when the Spirit of God is advancing that rule.

Growing in this rule is the wisdom to depend on what God says about you and not what men think of you.

Glory to God.

FURTHER STUDY: 1 Corinthians 10:23, John 10:28

GOLDEN NUGGET:

We reach men by the measure of the rule upon our lives. This measure is distributed by God and determines how much you influence those that God has given unto you.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for this Word. I am grateful for the lives that are changing because of the glory and anointing upon my life. I refuse to compare myself to any other person because I know what you have deposited in my spirit. By this wisdom, I influence those that you have appointed me to influence. To the glory of your name, Amen.

Understanding The Way, Truth And Life

Apostle Grace Lubega

John 14:6(KJV); Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Understanding The Way, Truth And LifeJesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life.

There are those who understand the way, but they do not understand the truth and the life. It means that they can preach the doctrine of Christ in truth but they cannot demonstrate the life of God.

There are those who understand the life but they do not understand the way. This is the Christian who may open a blind eye or heal a lame man but they cannot explain by the scriptures how and why this is so.

Such a one cannot multiply this very grace among those he leads because he has not understood the way, yet seeks to demonstrate its life.

When we speak of truth in this context, we are not speaking of truth in a doctrinal aspect, rather, we are speaking of truth as the nature of God.

God wants you to understand Christ in these three facets of His personality.

The way leads to the truth, and the truth leads to a manifestation of the life.

What this means is that if you understand the doctrine of Christ in its absolute purity, you are established in the understanding of your true nature in God. Once you understand your nature in God, you manifest His life.

Glory to God!

FURTHER STUDY: John 1:4, 1 Corinthians 4:20

GOLDEN NUGGET:

God wants you to understand Christ in these three facets of His personality. The way leads to the truth, and the truth leads to a manifestation of the life of God.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank you for this Word. Thank you for this great and wonderful revelation. You have revealed your message to me in truth, I understand who I am in you and manifest your life everywhere that I am. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Of The Perfection Of Faith

Apostle Grace Lubega

Colossians 3:3(KJV); For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

Of The Perfection Of FaithThe scriptures speak of the infallible truth that we died in the flesh and are alive in Christ.

However, not many Christians are awakened to this consciousness.

For example, how does a dead man believe?

True faith cannot come until one has the experience of this death.

What this means is that you cannot believe God as you should until you start to live in the consciousness of this death.

The greatest hindrance to some people’s faith is the fact that they are too aware of their life in the flesh.

This is why they easily observe lying vanities. It is the same reason they cannot take risks in faith.

They are too sensitive to what is around them; to the physical realities that are contrary to the Word of God.

You must believe God like a dead man!

To such a man, negative circumstances speak a dead language.

When a man is conscious of this death, he steps on water and keeps walking even when the waves toss around him.

For such a one, his physical senses do not define his faith, his spiritual senses do.

This is your story in Christ.

FURTHER STUDY: Hebrews 10:38, Jonah 2:8

GOLDEN NUGGET:

You cannot believe God as you should until you start to live in the consciousness of your death in the flesh.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank you for your Word. I understand that my real life is hidden in you. I walk with the consciousness of one who was buried with Christ and raised with Him. This knowledge defines my faith. It removes boundaries and limitations from how and what I believe. I step out in boldness and take risks because of this consciousness. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Wisdom Among Your Own

Apostle Grace Lubega

Mark 6:4-6(KJV); But Jesus, said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house. And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them. And he marvelled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the villages, teaching.

Wisdom Among Your OwnIt is true that a prophet might be without honour in his own country.

However, no one should create a doctrine out of this that excuses people’s unbelief.

Some have used this as a reason not to preach to their immediate families. Some are leaving their countries to other nations under the pretext of having no honour in their countries.

The truth of the matter is that the underlying issue Christ faced was the lack of faith of these people.

This means that we cannot wholly focus on the fact that they dishonoured him because he was from their home country. The focus should be on the absence of faith.

The responsibility of the minister of the gospel is to build faith. This is why Christ went about teaching in the villages despite the fact that they did not hold him in high regard.

Even in your home country, you can have results. You can have results in your family. You can have results with the people you grew up with.

Teach faith. Demonstrate faith. Speak faith.

FURTHER STUDY: Hebrews 10:38, Mark 3:35

GOLDEN NUGGET:

Even in your home country, you can have results. You can have results in your family. You can have results with the people you grew up with. Teach faith. Demonstrate faith. Speak faith.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for this wisdom. I am a willing labourer, in my family, at my workplace and in my nation. I live and demonstrate a life of faith. My actions speak forth the faith life and my lips keep the faith message. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

The Way Of The Wise

Apostle Grace Lubega

2 Corinthians 10:12(AMP); We do not have the audacity to put ourselves in the same class or compare ourselves with some who [supply testimonials to] commend themselves. When they measure themselves by themselves and compare themselves with themselves, they lack wisdom and behave like fools.

The Way Of The WiseThe wisdom of God teaches a man never to compare himself with another.

Our theme scripture reveals that when a man measures himself against another, it is foolishness.

By the scriptures, we understand that a fool is one who rejects God (Psalm 14:1).

What this means is that every time one compares himself to another man, in the spirit, this is considered as a rejection of God.

God has made you unique, peculiar and different. You are fearfully and wonderfully made.

Every time you make another man the standard of your self-worth, you reject what God has specifically and distinctively created you to be.

It is the way of wisdom to understand that you are special in every way and that God has a special plan for your life.

This does not mean that you should not be inspired by those that have gone ahead of you in life. It does not mean that you should not learn from those who have excelled in the field you want to grow in. It doesn’t mean that you should not honour distinctions.

What it means is that you ought to live with the awareness that what God has placed in you is exceptional. He fashioned you for greatness.

His name be praised!

FURTHER STUDY: Psalms 139:14, 1 Peter 2:9

GOLDEN NUGGET:

Every time you make another man the standard of your self-worth, you reject what God has specifically and distinctively created you to be

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for this day. Thank you for this wisdom that is at work in my life. I live in the consciousness that I am unique, special and different. You have marked me with distinction and crowned me with favour. I stand out in any place that I am because of the special graces that are upon me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Keep Saying It

Apostle Grace Lubega

Mark 5:25-29(AMP); And there was a woman who had had a flow of blood for twelve years, And who had endured much suffering under [the hands of] many physicians and had spent all that she had, and was no better but instead grew worse. She had heard the reports concerning Jesus, and she came up behind Him in the throng and touched His garment, For she kept saying, If I only touch His garments, I shall be restored to health. And immediately her flow of blood was dried up at the source, and [suddenly] she felt in her body that she was healed of her [distressing] ailment.

Keep Saying ItA ruled spirit is one that holds fast onto the confession of faith.

To hold fast means that regardless of how hard-hitting the circumstance, what you say is in line with the Word of God.

This was how the woman with the issue of blood positioned herself for healing.

Our theme scripture reveals that ‘SHE KEPT SAYING.’

The walk of faith is not one where you speak once and sit back. It is one where you keep speaking until you see the manifestation of what you desire!

It doesn’t matter how much the situation worsens, KEEP SPEAKING!

It doesn’t matter how much hotter the fire gets, KEEP SAYING IT.

Keep saying that by His stripes you were healed. Keep saying that you are rich and lend to nations. Keep declaring that you are the righteousness of God.

The faith that does not waver is that which keeps speaking the Word of God.

Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: James 1:6, Philemon 1:6

GOLDEN NUGGET:

The faith that does not waver is that which keeps speaking the Word of God.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for this Word. Thank you for this great wisdom in the art of war. Your Word is continually on my lips. Out of the abundance of the Word in my heart, I speak. I decree and declare that greatness is my portion. I decree and declare that I leap over boundaries and walls. I decree and declare that I will never fail, that the wicked and unreasonable are far from me, that my path grows brighter and brighter and that each day I see the goodness of God in the land of the living. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Because God Is With You

Apostle Grace Lubega

Zechariah 8:23(KJV); Thus saith the LORD of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you.

Because God Is With YouThe main reason why children of God aspire to be like they that are of this world is because many do not understand who they are and what God has made them be.

In our theme scripture, the Bible says that ten men shall take hold of your skirt and beg to go with you for no other reason than they have heard that God is with you.

It does not say they will hold your skirt because you are rich; it does not say they will hold your skirt because you have celebrity status. It says they will hold your skirt because God is with you.

You have God, that ought to be the foundation of your confidence. That should be the lens through which you view this world.

When God was making a comparison between you and anyone who is not of the covenant, He said, ‘of all those born of a woman, none is greater than John the Baptist. Yet even the least person in the kingdom of God is greater than John the Baptist.’(Matthew 11:11).

Understand what it means to have an incorruptible inheritance, understand what it means to be born, not of flesh nor blood but to be born of God, understand how expensively you were bought, and understand what it took God to have you.

You are fearfully and wonderfully made; you are of a royal priesthood, you are a partaker of the divine nature, you have been translated from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light.

No one outside the kingdom is better than you!

Live with this consciousness.
Walk big and tall. Know who you are!

FURTHER STUDY: John 1:13, 1 Peter 2:9

GOLDEN NUGGET:

You have God, that ought to be the foundation of your confidence. That should be the lens through which you view this world.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for this knowledge. Thank you for what you have made me be. Thank you for the distinction upon my life. I know that I am different, I am set apart and marked for glory. You have set me in a place of advantage because I am born of God. I live my life with this confidence. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Approved By God

Apostle Grace Lubega

Ephesians 1:6(KJV); To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

Approved By GodOne of the primary needs for many people is the need for the approval of others.

It is this approval that gives many a sense of acceptance and belonging.

Many atrocious things in this world have been done by people in this world in their quest for men’s approval.

There are compromises upon compromises that have been made by countless people to gain the approval of those around them. Sometimes, this approval is sought from strangers at a very great cost.

However, this is not your story child of God.

Because you are Born Again, your approval is from God. In our theme scripture, the Bible reveals that God has made us accepted in the beloved.

You bear His stamp and seal of approval. This approval has nothing to do with what you have done or achieved in this life. It has nothing to do with what you may have amassed in this world.

It has everything to do with the fact that you have been begotten by God; He lives moves and has His being in you, you are a possessor of God!

Live your life in the confidence of one accepted by God. Hallelujah!
FURTHER STUDY: Luke 6:26, 2 Timothy 2:15

GOLDEN NUGGET:

You bear God’s stamp and seal of approval. This approval has nothing to do with what you have done or achieved in this life. It has nothing to do with what you may have amassed in this world. It has everything to do with the fact that you have been begotten by God.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for this Word. I thank you for the great privilege to be called a child of God. I walk in the confidence of one who knows that I am begotten by an incorruptible seed, which is the Word of God. I am strengthened in this truth. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

As A Man Thinketh

Apostle Grace Lubega

Proverbs 23:7(KJV); For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee

Your thought pattern is a confession in the spirit.

In fact, in the realm of the spirit, your thoughts are louder than your words.

I have known Christians who have mastered the art of confession. They know what to say in all sets of circumstances: that they are the head and not the tail, they are more than conquerors through Christ who strengthens them, they are rich, they are above and not beneath.

However, there is always a disconnect between what they say with their lips and the reality of their lives.

Why is this so?

They have not gained mastery over their thoughts.

Child of God, you speak with your mind before you speak with your mouth.

Your mind is where the warfare is, it is the battleground.

Exercise yourself in bringing every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. If any negative thought rears its head, you must expunge it immediately.

Kill it with the confession of your mouth. This way, your thoughts will be aligned to your confessions.

Glory to God!

FURTHER STUDY: 2 Corinthians 10:5, Philemon 1:6

GOLDEN NUGGET:
Your thought pattern is a confession in the spirit.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for this Word. I exercise mastery over my thoughts and over the confessions of my lips. With my thoughts, I plant that which brings life and uproot any weeds of destruction. My mind is renewed and aligned with your Word. In this, I live a life of constant victory. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Dare To Believe – 2

Apostle Grace Lubega

Genesis 15:5(KJV); And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.

When Abraham asked God for a child, the Lord responded by way of an emblematic representation of what He had purposed to do for him.

He told him to count the stars and said unto him, ‘so shall thy seed be.’

Herein is a critical instruction to us as children of God.

When God speaks a word over your life, it is critical that you see what He desires for you the way He sees it.

Often times, when God speaks to some Christians, they interpret this in line with their understanding and see from their place in the spirit and not where God sees from.

When the Word of the Lord comes and says, ‘This is a year of faith,’ ask for the emblem!

If He says that in this season He is giving you grace, ask for the vision of what He means by grace and not what you understand by grace!

If He says that this year He is increasing you, ask for the details of this increase so that when you pray, you do so as you see what He has shown you and not what you think is increase!

Ask for the emblem. Ask for the vision.

You will be launched into depths of unlimitedness.

Glory to God!

FURTHER STUDY: Jeremiah 33:3, Revelation 11:12

GOLDEN NUGGET:

When God speaks a word over your life, it is critical that you see what He desires for you the way He sees it.

PRAYER: Father, I am grateful for this Word. Thank you for sharpening my understanding of how to see in the things of the spirit. I see as you see, I understand in the way you want me to understand. I interpret visions in the way you want me to interpret them. I walk and live in the full manifestation of what heaven desires for me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
