The Exchange

Apostle Grace Lubega

Romans 7:18-20(KJV); For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

There is a continuous war between the man of the flesh and the man of the spirit; the inner man and the physical man.

The physical man has a way in which he views the world which is wholly different from how the man of the spirit sees the world.

Paul explains this internal battle in our theme scripture when he says, “For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.”

Liberty begins when the physical man is submitted enough to the spirit man to do whatever the spirit man wants and when he wants it and whenever occasion serves him.

True warfare is when we learn to build the inner man, that at all times and in all places, he brings the physical man into subjection to him.

This battle is won every time we live from the inside out rather than from the outside in.

Be strengthened in the inner man through His Holy Spirit because every time you are fortified from within, you win from without. Glory to God!

FURTHER STUDY: Ephesians 3:16, 2 Corinthians 4:16-18

GOLDEN NUGGET:

Liberty begins when the physical man is submitted enough to the spirit man to do whatever the spirit man wants and when he wants it and whenever occasion serves him.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for the victory that I have in you. How can I fail when you have made me your permanent habitation? I rest in the blessed assurance that you strengthen me every day; you uplift my spirit from the deepest dumps and cause me to soar in the planes of victory. In all that I do, I look within and never without, for there is the testimony of strength and of truth. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

You Have The Mind Of Christ

Apostle Grace Lubega

1 Corinthians 2:16(KJV); For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

You have the mind of Christ.

You can never understand His mind by studying it as one who is separate from Him.

In fact, you will never know God by separating yourself from Him.

You can only know God’s mind by understanding your oneness with Him in the Spirit.

Without the revelation of oneness, you cannot understand truth and perfection or even the person of God.

He is in you; you are in Him; His thoughts are your thoughts; His plans are your plans; His convictions are your convictions.

The access into the manifestation of this truth is faith.

This means that you ought to believe that you have God’s mind pertaining everything.

By faith you have access to the mind of God.

Grow in this consciousness child of God; Purpose to live life with the understanding that you and Him are one and that the deepest convictions of His heart are the very convictions of your heart. His name be praised!

FURTHER STUDY: John 17:21-23; Acts 17:28

GOLDEN NUGGET:

You have the mind of Christ. You can never understand His mind by studying it as one who is separate from Him. You can only know God’s mind by understanding your oneness with Him in the Spirit.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for your Word. I rest in the knowledge that I am in you and you are in me. I walk in the blessed assurance of oneness with the Father. My life is patterned after your thoughts, convictions and desires. Because I have your mind, I know how and when the winds of divine purpose blow. At all times and in all places, I am positioned to execute divine purpose, to the glory of your name. Amen.

Life Through The Lens Of Grace

Apostle Grace Lubega

Romans 5:8(KJV); But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

It is deception to assume that your value in the eyes of God reduces when you have done something bad or increases when you do something good.

That kind of thinking dishonors the blood of Christ and the price He paid at Calvary.

Not even your worst sin in scripture has changed your value before God. In spite of what you have done, you are still His precious and priceless child.

Your good works are not a qualification. In fact, you can never be good enough to earn God’s grace.

The reason why your value will never change is because it is not based on your performance or failure but on whom you believed; He is the one who determined your price; it is He who ransomed you; it is He who bought you.

Purpose to live life through the lens of grace; God knows you have made mistakes, but never think you are a mistake.

Never allow yourself to be overcome by your blunders, always look to Christ in the knowledge that you are precious in the eyes of the father.

Yes, you might have messed up but pick, dust yourself up and move on, be better, walk out of sin, God wants you out and so do you. You are born of incorruption and purity is a divine beauty and a portion of your new nature in Christ.

His name be praised!

FURTHER STUDY: Romans 5:1, Ephesians 2:8

GOLDEN NUGGET:

The reason why your value will never change is because it is not based on your performance or failure but on whom you believed; He is the one who determined your price; it is He who ransomed you; it is He who bought you.

PRAYER: My God, I thank you for who I am to you and in you. You have blessed and preserved me exceedingly. You watch over and protect me because I am precious in your sight. You are the lifter of my head, the strength of my heart and the health of my countenance. I choose to live my life through your eyes; to see myself in the same way that you see me; in all things and through all things. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

The Double Edged Sword – 2

Apostle Grace Lubega

Hebrews 4:12-13(AMP); For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart. And not a creature exists that is concealed from His sight, but all things are open and exposed, naked and defenseless to the eyes of Him with Whom we have to do.

The Word of God opens up the spirit world to us and guarantees our victory against the forces of evil.

Our theme scripture reveals that because of the Word, all things are exposed, naked and defenseless to us.

It is one thing for things to be open to you but it is quite another for them to be defenseless before you.

When something is open before you, you can behold its nature but not have the grace to change its from.

When something is defenseless, it means that you have the grace to not only behold its nature but also to change its form.

You can heal the sick because sickness is naked and defenseless before you.

You can cast out demons because they are naked and defenseless before you.

You can avert the plans of the enemy because they are naked and defenseless before you.

Glory to God!

FURTHER STUDY: 2 Corinthians 2:11, Ephesians 6:17

GOLDEN NUGGET:

The Word of God opens up the spirit world to us and guarantees our victory against the forces of evil.

PRAYER: My Lord, I am most grateful for the Word for this day. Today, my vision is deepened to see in the realm of the spirit. Because of the Word in my spirit, I am not ignorant of the enemy’s devices. All his schemes are naked and defenseless before me. This is the testimony of my victory. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

The Double Edged Sword

Apostle Grace Lubega

Hebrews 4:12-13(KJV); For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

A man or woman of the Word can never fail to know the will of God for his or her life.

Nothing is hidden from the Word of God; all things are naked before Him.

If nothing is hidden from the Word, then understand that the Word is the eye through which we see the future.

By the Word, you can know your next job.

By the Word, you can know who your spouse to be is.

By the Word, you can tell whether the business deal you are contemplating shall be a success or not.

Every time you find yourself contemplating a decision or the next step in your life, look through the eyes of the Word, you will know.

You don’t need to hop from church to church to understand God’s call upon your life, look to the Word; that call is naked before Him.

You don’t need to depend on men and women of God every time you want to take a step in life, look to the Word, that next step is naked before Him.

Praise God!

FURTHER STUDY: Colossians 3:16, Psalms 119:105

GOLDEN NUGGET:

A man or woman of the Word can never fail to know the will of God for his or her life. Nothing is hid from the Word of God; all things are naked before Him.

PRAYER: Loving father, I thank you for this great truth. I was begotten by the Word, it is my nature, my heartbeat, my light and the center of my world. By it I move forward, by it I hear and by it, I stand. I am wise in everything that I do because I do so by the Word. I can never stumble because the Word guides my steps. To the glory of your name. Amen.

You Are A Wonder

Apostle Grace Lubega

Psalms 139:14(KJV); I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

God attaches great and immeasurable value to you.

In the great art of creation, he took particular care when making you; you are fearfully and wonderfully made.

In our theme scripture, the Psalmist declares that the works of God are marvelous. He went on to say, “…and that my soul knoweth right well.”

You are a work of God. You are His masterpiece.

You must have to carry this understanding in your inner most conviction. Let nothing on the outside convince you otherwise.

If His works are marvelous, you are a marvel child of God; a great wonder, shining and radiant with the glory of God.

Kings come to your rising because you are a marvel.

The Gentiles come to your light because you are a marvel.

Creation bows before you because you are a marvel.

Act like it! Speak like it! Live like it!

FURTHER STUDY: Ephesians 2:10, 2 Corinthians 5:17

GOLDEN NUGGET:

If His works are marvelous, you are a marvel child of God; a great wonder, shining and radiant with the glory of God.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for this great Word. I am a wonder! What a blessed truth! I am your workmanship created in Christ Jesus unto good works. Like Christ went about doing good, I go about doing good because it is in my DNA. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

To Minister By Wisdom

Apostle Grace Lubega

Luke 7:33-35(KJV); For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine; and ye say, He hath a devil. The Son of man is come eating and drinking; and ye say, Behold a gluttonous man, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners! But wisdom is justified of all her children.

The wisdom of God vindicates a minister of God.

There came a time when John the Baptist’s stand as a minister of God was called into question. Because he lived a life of constant fasting, neither eating nor drinking, he was dubbed as demon possessed.

Christ’s stand as a minister of God was questioned by the religious men of His day.

Simply because he ate and drank, they called him a glutton, a wine bibber and a friend of publicans and sinners.

To all of this, Christ had this to say, “Wisdom is justified of all her children.”(Luke 7:35).

Wisdom is the fruit of our gospel and of our ministries.

This is more than simply having big numbers in one’s meetings; one may attract large crowds yet destroy many because he or she lacks in wisdom.

It is more than healing the sick; one may heal the sick but not in wisdom and in the end stumble so many others; where is the wisdom in your healing?

Beloved saint, aim to always minister in wisdom and by the wisdom of God upon your life. Praise Jesus!

FURTHER STUDY: 1 Corinthians 2:7-8, 1 Corinthians 1:30

GOLDEN NUGGET:

Wisdom is the fruit of our gospel and of our ministries.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for this Word. Lord, I know that you are my wisdom and it is by this that I minister and do all that I ought to do. The fruit of my life speaks for itself because it is the testimony of the wisdom of heaven. In wisdom I teach, in wisdom I give and in wisdom I change my world, to the glory of your name. Amen.

The Power Of Vision – 2

Apostle Grace Lubega

Revelation 2:7(KJV); He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the TREE OF LIFE, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

When the evil one came to Eve in the Garden of Eden, he gave her a vision that caused her to behold certain things about the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

The Bible says that she saw that the tree was good for food; she saw that the tree was pleasant to the eyes; she saw that it could make one wise (Genesis 3:6).

If there was a vision cast with effect to the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, there is undoubtedly a vision to see when one beholds the TREE OF LIFE.

This was Christ’s mandate in the New Testament. His part is to give you a vision of what happens when you eat of the TREE OF LIFE.

The Bible says that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations (Revelation 22:2).

When you eat of the tree of life, you are an answer to the nations; when you eat of the tree of life, you are a solution to this world. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Revelations 22:2, Revelation 22:14

GOLDEN NUGGET:

When you eat of the tree of life, you are an answer to the nations; when you eat of the tree of life, you are a solution to this world

PRAYER: Dear God, I thank you for this Word. I am a carrier of life because I partook Christ, the tree of life. My fruit changes the world around me; my fruit is an answer to my nation; my fruit is healing to what I touch. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

The Power Of Vision – 1

Apostle Grace Lubega

Genesis 3:6(KJV); And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

The temptation of Eve was not merely an enticement by the evil one for her to eat the forbidden fruit.

When he spoke, the devil did not merely outline the pros of eating the fruit; what he actually did was that he gave Eve a vision.

She saw what he wanted her to see; she saw that the tree was good for food; she saw that it was pleasant to the eyes; she saw that it could make one wise.

When she received the vision, she ate the fruit and gave her husband who was with her and he also ate.

Adam neither hesitated nor questioned why he was being given the fruit; in that moment he seemed to have forgotten that God had commanded them never to touch that tree; he forgot that the penalty for his action was death.

Why?

Eve had received the vision, from the enemy but he did not. Adam did not have the power to say no because the power of the woman who saw captivated the will of the man who did not see.

The underlying principle here is that the one that has the vision commands the one without it.

This was the power of a vision received from the Words of the enemy; how much more that from the Words of God?

For every Word of God you receive, you must also receive the vision of it because you need a vision to command your workplace; you need a vision to command your family; you need a vision to command your nation. You must see!

FURTHER STUDY: Revelation 2:7, Revelation 22:2

GOLDEN NUGGET:

He that has the vision commands the one without it. You need a vision to command your workplace; you need a vision to command your family; you need a vision to command your nation. You must see!

PRAYER: My loving God, I thank you for this great Word. This knowledge is priceless and I walk in its understanding every day; you are my vision and it is you that I behold in all that I do; as I see you, I command everything around me, to the glory of your name. Amen.

Of His Yoke And Burden

Apostle Grace Lubega

Matthew 11:28-30(KJV); Come unto me, all [ye] that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke [is] easy, and my burden is light.

The yoke of Christ is easy and His burden is light.

What makes serving God easy is when we serve under the yoke and burden of Christ.

What makes prayer easy is when we pray under the yoke and burden of Christ.

What makes building ministry easy is when we do so under the yoke and burden of Christ.

Every time you find yourself struggling under a difficult yoke and a heavy burden, ask yourself if it is the yoke or burden of Christ.

The Bible speaks of a stone being heavy (Proverbs 27:3).

The stone is a spiritual representation of the ministry of the law.

When you serve, pray or minister under the law, you will feel overly burdened; service to God will feel heavy, prayer will feel heavy and all other areas of ministry will feel heavy.

The yoke and burden of Christ is a yoke and burden of grace; it is light because it is not you at work but God is at work in you to will and to do according to His good pleasure (Philippians 2:13).

Paul laboured more abundantly than all his brethren because he laboured under the burden and yoke of grace (1 Corinthians 15:10).

Child of God, Christ has called you to take His yoke; this means embrace His grace.

His great name be praised!

FURTHER STUDY: Psalms 116:7, 1John 5:3Amp.

GOLDEN NUGGET:

The yoke and burden of Christ is a yoke and burden of grace; it is light because it is not you at work but God is at work in you to will and to do according to His good pleasure.

PRAYER: My Lord, I thank you for this great day. I thank you for the grace to labor and minister out of rest. My strength is renewed daily. I run and never grow weary. I walk and never faint. I serve and labor out of an abundant overflow of grace. In Jesus Name. Amen.

The Faithful Minister

Apostle Grace Lubega

Luke 16:10(KJV); He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.

God rewards faithfulness; not merely the office in which one is appointed.

A high spiritual office does not mean that God will reward its holder more; for the office only represents greater responsibility on the part of its holder.

Even if your part is to do the most menial task in the ministry, do so with the greatest joy because you know that you are serving in the house of God.

As long as you are faithful in the little, God will reward you for it.

Faithfulness has two elements to it: COMMITMENT and AVAILABILITY.

Some people are committed but they are not available. Others are available but they are not committed.

A committed Christian undertakes his duty with diligence and his heart is fully invested in what he does.

An available Christian is ready to meet a need and stand in the gap as and when it arises.

Purpose not only to commit your heart to the work of the gospel but to also be ever ready to serve whenever you are required to do so.

FURTHER STUDY: Matthew 25:21, 1 Corinthians 4:2

GOLDEN NUGGET:

Faithfulness has two elements to it: COMMITMENT and AVAILABILITY. A committed Christian undertakes his duty with diligence and his heart is fully invested in what he does. An available Christian is ready to meet a need and stand in the gap as and when it arises.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, I thank you for today. I thank you for this Word that has instructed me in a great principle of ministry. I choose to serve with the knowledge that I am not serving men but the living God. I am available and committed to the work of the gospel. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

The Treasure In Our Hearts

Apostle Grace Lubega

2 Corinthians 4:7(AMP),“However, we possess this precious treasure [THE DIVINE LIGHT OF THE GOSPEL] in [frail, human] vessels of earth, that the grandeur and exceeding greatness of the power may be shown to be from God and not from ourselves.

We have treasure in earthen vessels.

The Bible has defined this treasure in our theme scripture; it is the DIVINE LIGHT OF THE GOSPEL.

Where one’s treasure is, so is their heart also (Matthew 6:21).

Men go treasure hunting, experience all sorts of difficulties and face up against all sorts of odds while at it because their hearts are panting after treasure. Hearts follow treasure, treasure does not follow the heart.

If the treasure is the divine light of the gospel, then your heart ought to follow the gospel.

Our heart is in the gospel because it is the power of God unto Salvation for all that believe (Romans 1:16).

Our heart is in the gospel because the preaching of the cross is the power of God unto us who are saved (1 Corinthians 1:18).

When your heart is in the gospel, the inevitable result is that through you, God demonstrates the exceeding greatness of His power.

FURTHER STUDY: Psalms 45:1, Matthew 6:21

GOLDEN NUGGET:

If the treasure is the divine light of the gospel, then your heart ought to follow the gospel.

PRAYER: My heavenly master, I give you praise for this day. Thank you for this great Word. Today, I choose to live life with my heart fully invested in the gospel. Like a man following after treasure, I follow after it. Your power is demonstrated through me everywhere and every time. In Jesus Name. Amen.
