Separated From Darkness – 1

Apostle Grace Lubega

Genesis 1:2-4(KJV); And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness

The present world in which we live is covered by a form of darkness.

That is why it is susceptible to all forms of evil and they that are not of God are easy victims of the schemes of the enemy.

However, it is the mandate of the Holy Spirit to separate you from darkness.

This is what happened in the beginning. The Bible says that darkness covered the face of the deep and the Spirit moved upon the face of the waters.

This same Spirit is our ever-present help in time of need. If He separated light from darkness at the time of creation; He is still available to separate you from any form of darkness.

That is why He says, “Do not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day” (Psalms 91:5). He says, “A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.” (Psalms 91:7).

In Proverbs 1:33, He says, “Whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.”
God has done everything to put you out of the reach of the evil one.

The enemy’s attempts to attack you are described by the scriptures simply as wiles meant to blind you from the hedge of protection that is around you (Ephesians 6:11).

Purpose to live life with this confidence!

FURTHER STUDY: Proverbs 1:33, Psalms 91:7

GOLDEN NUGGET:

It is the mandate of the Holy Spirit to separate you from darkness. God has done everything to put you out of the reach of the evil one.

PRAYER: My loving Father, I thank you for this day. I stand in the confident assurance that you are my shield and fortress. The wicked and unreasonable are far from me because I am hedged and hemmed in by you. Disease and the afflictions of the enemy are not my portion. The arm of the wicked against me was disabled by Christ’s victory at Calvary. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

The Limitation Of Human Wisdom

Apostle Grace Lubega

John 3:7-10(KJV); Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be? Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?

Human wisdom is limited.

Part of its limitation is in its inability to comprehend spiritual matters.

Such was the dilemma of Nicodemus in our theme scripture.

As the Christ spoke about what it means to be Born Again, Nicodemus found that he could not understand Him.

As such, he asks the Lord, “How can these things be?”

Christ’s response is very revealing. He asks, “Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?”

Nicodemus was supposed to be an expert in these matters but he did not fully understand how the world of spirits functions.

This was because his mastery was based on human wisdom and not the fullness of the revelation of the Spirit.

Mastery sought outside the wisdom from above will always be limited in knowledge.

Sometimes, the experts of this world assume the place of God and unfortunately, some believers treat them as so.

When they claim that the economy is failing, believers take this as gospel truth and pattern their lives in the understanding that they are going to suffer great financial losses.

When the experts tell some believers that they will die in a few months because of a certain disease, the believers receive that report as final regarding their lives.

Whose report shall you believe, child of God?

No matter what a master or expert says, always consider the Word of God as the last word because it has a 360-degree angle on any situation.

FURTHER STUDY: James 3:17, Colossians 2:2-3

GOLDEN NUGGET:

Mastery sought outside the wisdom from above will always be limited in knowledge.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for this Word. In all things, I choose to believe the report of the Lord. It is your Word that I exalt in all things. I look to Christ in whom dwells all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Because I depend on the word, my understanding is never in part but in full. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

The Reality Of The Free Life – 2

Apostle Grace Lubega

Exodus 3:5(KJV); And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.

The Reality Of The Free Life - 2When the Lord appeared to Moses in a burning bush, He told him to put off his shoes because he was standing on holy ground.

What made this ground holy? It was the presence of God.

The place that Moses stepped was sanctified and consecrated because of God.

You have the presence of God. The Bible says that you are the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19).

Every place you step is sanctified because you are a carrier of the presence of God.

Demons cannot stand in your presence.

Disease must flee in your presence.

The men of this world should look at you and feel convicted to give their lives to Christ because you have the presence of God.

This is the understanding of a free man; one who has understood the liberties of the new creature in Christ.

Glory to God!’

FURTHER STUDY: 1 Corinthians 6:19, Acts 17:28

GOLDEN NUGGET:

Every place you step is sanctified because you are a carrier of the presence of God.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank you for your presence in my life. It convicts men, it changes lives, it delivers and it heals. I grow in its consciousness every day and yield to its working. Wherever I step and go is blessed. The nations I enter are transformed because of this presence. To the glory of your name. Amen.

To Decree A Thing

Apostle Grace Lubega

Job 22:28(KJV); Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.

To Decree A ThingIt is a divine authority to decree a thing and that thing is established.

How do you speak forth a thing and that very thing is established?

It is not a matter of mere words and speech.

A decree is a question of spiritual law. That is why men who speak forth and establish things are those that have understood the operations of the laws of the spirit.

The primary understanding of these operations is in acknowledging that natural laws are subject to spiritual laws.

What is spiritual, determines what is physical.

Elijah could suspend the rain for three years by his word because he understood this principle (1 Kings 17:1).

Christ could dry a fig tree by His word because He understood this principle (Mark 11:12-25).

The Bible speaks of Samuel and says that his words never fell to the ground because he knew this truth (1 Samuel 3:19).

We bind or loose in heaven before we bind or loose in the earth (Matthew 18:18 AMP).

We unlock in the spirit before we unlock in the physical.

FURTHER STUDY: Matthew 18:18 AMP, 1 Samuel 3:19

GOLDEN NUGGET:

A decree is a question of spiritual law. That is why men who speak forth and establish things are those that have understood the operations of the laws of the spirit.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank you for this Word. I receive its understanding and walk in its manifestation. I don’t just live in the spirit; I know how to walk in it. I know how to determine things in the realm of God before they appear on the earth. In this liberty, I decree and establish things in line with your divine purpose. To the glory of your name. Amen.

The Creativity Of The God-mind

Apostle Grace Lubega

Hebrews 11:3(KJV); Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

The Creativity Of The God-mindThe worlds were framed by the Word of God.

This Word that framed these worlds is in you. The question then is; how can you not frame your world?

The creativity of the God-mind is the ability to harness the Word to frame your world. It is looking into that endless fountain of wisdom and creating what you desire to see.

In Job 32:8, He says that there is a spirit in you and the inspiration of God gives you understanding.

The first pattern of creation is the inspiration of the Spirit.

The Bible says that in the beginning, the Spirit was hovering over the face of the deep. He was present, ready to execute any instruction from God.

Thus, in order to create, you must allow the Spirit to stir up in you something new.

There is nothing new under the sun. But in you is what no eye has seen, ear heard or what has entered into the hearts of men but the Spirit has revealed these to you (1 Corinthians 2:9).

The second pattern of creation as laid out in the scriptures is speech. Like we see in the beginning, God spoke.

He says you shall decree a thing and it shall be established (Job 22:28).

Every time we speak forth the Word, we are creating.
Glory to God!

FURTHER STUDY: 1 Corinthians 2:9, Job 22:28

GOLDEN NUGGET:

The creativity of the God-mind is the ability to harness the Word to frame your world.

PRAYER: God, I thank you for the power and authority that you have placed in my hands. Thank you for your great Word that is in the inside of me. Today you have opened my eyes to the great responsibility that comes with carrying the Word in my spirit. I understand that it is not just to meet personal needs but to frame worlds. Today, I speak it forth in authority and establish whatsoever I decree. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

The Reality Of The Free Life

Apostle Grace Lubega

1 Corinthians 2:16(KJV); For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

The Reality Of The Free LifeWe have the mind of Christ. What this means is that He executes divine purposes through us. In this, His thoughts are our thoughts; His desires are our desires and His plans are our plans.

As the body of Christ, we are constantly thinking like He does.

This is the free life!
It is not about ‘what would Jesus do?’ It is about ‘What is Jesus doing?’

God does not expect us to always meditate what Christ’s potential action in any given situation would be. If the church is to think like that, it means that we will always be behind in the execution of the will of heaven. In essence, we will always be slow.

Jesus is in us. He is healing in us; He is blessing in us. He is turning around situations in us.

When we stretch forth our hands to cast out demons, it is He that is stretching forth His hand.

When we speak and declare that things may be established, it is He that is declaring and establishing things in us.

Embrace this reality for it is your portion in Christ!

FURTHER STUDY: Philippians 2:13, Galatians 2:20

GOLDEN NUGGET:

As the body of Christ, we are constantly thinking like He does. This free life is not about ‘what would Jesus do?’ It is about ‘What is Jesus doing?’

PRAYER: My loving Father, I thank you for this great Word. I am conscious that you are in me and I am in you. In you, I live, move and have my very being. I am crucified with Christ and yet I live but the life I now live, I live by the faith of the son of God. Every day, I am quickened in the understanding of this reality and I walk daily in its manifestation. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

The Weapon Of Righteousness

Apostle Grace Lubega

2 Corinthians 6:7(KJV); By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left…

The Weapon Of RighteousnessRighteousness is a weapon in spiritual warfare.

It is not merely a doctrine. Our theme scripture has called it an amour that is on the right hand and on the left.

The devil is the accuser of the brethren (Revelation 12:10). Condemnation is his weapon of choice.

As a Christian, you can never learn to fight him until you understand and embrace the imputed righteousness of God in Christ.

There are Christians who are constantly under the attack of the enemy simply because they subjected themselves to his condemnation and have not received the righteousness of God.

They have never overcome poverty, demonic oppression and all other forms of affliction because they believe they deserve it for one reason or the other.

That is not your story child of God.

It doesn’t matter how much you bind disease, and break all the powers of darkness. If you have not understood that you are right before God, you will always fight a losing battle.

He says, “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.”

Sickness is a weapon, demonic torment is a weapon, and financial failure is a weapon. But when you understand that your righteousness is of God, none of those weapons can prosper.

God’s name be praised!

FURTHER STUDY: Ephesians 6:14, Isaiah 54:17

GOLDEN NUGGET:

Righteousness is a weapon in spiritual warfare.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank you for this day. Thank you for this instruction in the art of war. I am fully persuaded that nothing that the enemy sets against me can ever succeed. He is defeated and I walk in constant victory. I have embraced your righteousness and live in the assurance that I am justified by you. I can never bow to condemnation and in this, I win every day of my life. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Things That Make Ministers: How We Fight

Apostle Grace Lubega

1 Timothy 1:18(KJV); This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare;

Things That Make Ministers: How We FightThe words spoken over your life by your spiritual authority are a weapon of war.

The Bible says that with them, you will wage a good warfare.

Paul looked into the future of Timothy his son in the faith and understood that there would come times when his faith would be tested.

His counsel to him was to remember and keep close to his heart the prophecies spoken upon him before.

What makes this ‘a good warfare’ is because often, your spiritual authority has conquered certain spiritual territories.

He has commended his conscience to places in the spirit and these places know him by name.

His words over your life mean that you are dealing with places that have already been tamed by your spiritual cover.

When you understand this, there is no way you can fail, child of God.

Keep in remembrance the words that have been spoken over you. Consider them in times of trial and persecution. The God that your spiritual authority served is the same God that will continually guarantee your victory.

His name be praised!

FURTHER STUDY: Hebrews 13:17, 1 Timothy 4:14

GOLDEN NUGGET:

The words spoken over your life by your spiritual authority are a weapon of war.

PRAYER: My loving Father, I thank you for this Word. Thank you for those whom you have placed over me, who watch over my soul and give account to you. I honour and respect my spiritual covering and keep the words that have been spoken over my life with diligence and in understanding. My victory in Christ is sure because I have understood this pattern in spiritual warfare. To the glory of your name. Amen.

The Attitude Of A Winner

Apostle Grace Lubega

Romans 8:37-39(KJV); Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

The Attitude Of A WinnerThe apostle Paul is a pattern in the understanding of Christian victory.

In our theme scripture, he reveals to us what the attitude of a true winner is.
He says, “NAY, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.”

Paul looked at everything that was against him and declared, ‘Nay!’

He rejected any supposed power these issues may have had over him.

In essence, he refused to acknowledge them and thus destroyed any effect they may have had on his spirit.

Winning starts when we say no to the schemes of the enemy.

It starts at the point when we say no to what rivals are saying about your business, ministry or career.

It starts with saying no to any bad news that comes our way.

Saying no is the refusal to observe lying vanities and when we do so, we partake Christ, our mercy.

His name be praised!

FURTHER STUDY: Philemon 1:6, Jonah 2:8

GOLDEN NUGGET:

Winning starts when we say no to the schemes of the enemy. Saying no is the refusal to observe lying vanities and when we do so, we partake Christ, our mercy.

PRAYER: My loving Father, I thank you for this Word. I believe the report of the Lord in all things. Nothing outside your Word shakes me. I am not moved by what I see, feel or hear but by your Word. My eyes are set on Christ who is the embodiment of all truth. He is my reality. And as I behold Him, the things of this world grow strangely dim. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Stand

Apostle Grace Lubega

Ephesians 6:11-13(KJV); Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

StandThe greatest part of spiritual warfare is the wisdom to stand.

Indeed, you have worn the armour: TRUTH, the BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, having the feet shod with THE GOSPEL OF PEACE, the SHIELD OF FAITH, the HELMET OF SALVATION and the SWORD OF THE SPIRIT.

But in warfare, your understanding of truth might be questioned, your righteousness in God might be challenged, your peace might be threated, your faith may be shaken, your salvation may be doubted and the Word God has spoken over your life may be tested.

But will you stand?

In Ephesians 6:13, He says, having done all, stand. In verse 14, he repeats it and says, “Stand”.

To stand is not merely to stay firm and steadfast. To stand is to seek your entire vindication on the God in whom you believed.

It is never leaving His presence no matter how wildly the storm rages.

It is praying when the strength to pray seems to have faded.

It is seeking His face even when you don’t feel worthy.

It is never giving up going to church, studying the Word and pursuing the counsel of God regardless of the circumstances in your life.

It is loving your persecutors and travailing in prayer for those who hate you.

Child of God, stand!

His great name be praised!

FURTHER STUDY: Romans 14:4, Philippians 4:1

GOLDEN NUGGET:
The greatest part of spiritual warfare is the wisdom to stand.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for this Word. I thank you for the things you have brought me through and for the great victories I have seen in my life. You did it before, you will do it again. You are my comfort and firm assurance. The arm of flesh will fail but God you never fail. The plans of men will fail but God in you is constant victory. Today, I choose to trust you above all else. You started a good work in me and shall bring it to accomplishment. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

In The Art Of War – 2

Apostle Grace Lubega

Ephesians 6:11-13(KJV); Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

In The Art Of War - 2The whole armour of God is fulfilled in the person of Christ.

For this reason, the Bible says in Romans 13:14, “But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.”
God calls upon us to put on the Lord Jesus Christ; He is our suit of armour.

The language of our theme scripture is “THE WHOLE ARMOUR OF GOD.”

When we fight outside Christ, that is adorning only part of the armour.

When we want to depend on Christ but also have a plan B ‘in the event that He fails’, that is fighting with only part of the armour.

Christ is our truth; our righteousness, our peace, our faith, our salvation and the very person of the Word of God.

We are more than conquerors THROUGH Christ (Romans 8:37).

The devil has every reason to fear Christ because our Lord gave him a sound beating and defeated him mightily when He descended to hell.

In Colossians 2:15 AMP, the Bible says, [God] disarmed the principalities and powers that were ranged against us and MADE A BOLD DISPLAY AND PUBLIC EXAMPLE OF THEM, in triumphing over them in Him and in it [the cross].

When the enemy sees you, he sees Christ with a clear memory of what befell him in hell.

As Christians, we win in the constant revelation of the person of Christ.

FURTHER STUDY: Colossians 2:15, Romans 8:37

GOLDEN NUGGET:

The whole armour of God is fulfilled in the person of Christ. Christ is our truth; our righteousness, our peace, our faith, our salvation and the very person of the Word of God.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for this knowledge. My triumph is in Christ and nowhere else. I have embraced Christ. I in Him and He in me, for we are one. No scheme of the enemy can intimidate me because I am seated in Christ, far above all powers, dominions and principalities. I am seated in the eternal planes of victory. To the glory of your name.

In The Art Of War - 1The guarantee of victory for any Christian who engages in spiritual warfare is when they put on the whole armour of God.

It is His armour. This means that it has nothing to do with us and everything to do with Him.

Principalities shudder when they behold you because you are covered from head to toe by God. He is your armoury.

The scriptures go ahead to define what this armour is.

In Ephesians 6:14-17, the Bible speaks of girding the loins with TRUTH; the BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, having the feet shod with THE GOSPEL OF PEACE, the SHIELD OF FAITH, the HELMET OF SALVATION and the SWORD OF THE SPIRIT.

The critical factor here is that all of this is the Lord’s.
It is His truth, His righteousness, His faith, His salvation and His Word.

He says that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty THROUGH GOD (2 Corinthians 10:4-5).

Carnality is when we forget that everything about the armour of God has to be in His revelation of it to us.

Victory is not in how you understand truth; it is in how God understands truth.

It is not in your own righteousness but His righteousness which He has imputed upon us.

Victory is not in how you perceive faith; it is His faith for He says that we live BY THE FAITH OF CHRIST (Galatians 2:20).

It is not in how we understand salvation but in His revelation of true salvation. It is not in how we interpret His Word but in His revelation of the Word to us.

This warfare is all about Him.

Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: 2 Corinthians 10:4-5, 2 Corinthians 3:5

GOLDEN NUGGET:

Principalities shudder when they behold you because you are covered from head to toe by God. He is your armoury.

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank you for this Word. I am steadfast in the knowledge that I can never be defeated by the enemy. I am more than a conqueror through Christ who strengthens me because I have the revelation of what it means to wear your armour. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
