The Attitude Of A Winner

Apostle Grace Lubega

Romans 8:37-39(KJV); Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

The Attitude Of A WinnerThe apostle Paul is a pattern in the understanding of Christian victory.

In our theme scripture, he reveals to us what the attitude of a true winner is.
He says, “NAY, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.”

Paul looked at everything that was against him and declared, ‘Nay!’

He rejected any supposed power these issues may have had over him.

In essence, he refused to acknowledge them and thus destroyed any effect they may have had on his spirit.

Winning starts when we say no to the schemes of the enemy.

It starts at the point when we say no to what rivals are saying about your business, ministry or career.

It starts with saying no to any bad news that comes our way.

Saying no is the refusal to observe lying vanities and when we do so, we partake Christ, our mercy.

His name be praised!

FURTHER STUDY: Philemon 1:6, Jonah 2:8

GOLDEN NUGGET:

Winning starts when we say no to the schemes of the enemy. Saying no is the refusal to observe lying vanities and when we do so, we partake Christ, our mercy.

PRAYER: My loving Father, I thank you for this Word. I believe the report of the Lord in all things. Nothing outside your Word shakes me. I am not moved by what I see, feel or hear but by your Word. My eyes are set on Christ who is the embodiment of all truth. He is my reality. And as I behold Him, the things of this world grow strangely dim. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Stand

Apostle Grace Lubega

Ephesians 6:11-13(KJV); Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

StandThe greatest part of spiritual warfare is the wisdom to stand.

Indeed, you have worn the armour: TRUTH, the BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, having the feet shod with THE GOSPEL OF PEACE, the SHIELD OF FAITH, the HELMET OF SALVATION and the SWORD OF THE SPIRIT.

But in warfare, your understanding of truth might be questioned, your righteousness in God might be challenged, your peace might be threated, your faith may be shaken, your salvation may be doubted and the Word God has spoken over your life may be tested.

But will you stand?

In Ephesians 6:13, He says, having done all, stand. In verse 14, he repeats it and says, “Stand”.

To stand is not merely to stay firm and steadfast. To stand is to seek your entire vindication on the God in whom you believed.

It is never leaving His presence no matter how wildly the storm rages.

It is praying when the strength to pray seems to have faded.

It is seeking His face even when you don’t feel worthy.

It is never giving up going to church, studying the Word and pursuing the counsel of God regardless of the circumstances in your life.

It is loving your persecutors and travailing in prayer for those who hate you.

Child of God, stand!

His great name be praised!

FURTHER STUDY: Romans 14:4, Philippians 4:1

GOLDEN NUGGET:
The greatest part of spiritual warfare is the wisdom to stand.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for this Word. I thank you for the things you have brought me through and for the great victories I have seen in my life. You did it before, you will do it again. You are my comfort and firm assurance. The arm of flesh will fail but God you never fail. The plans of men will fail but God in you is constant victory. Today, I choose to trust you above all else. You started a good work in me and shall bring it to accomplishment. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

In The Art Of War – 2

Apostle Grace Lubega

Ephesians 6:11-13(KJV); Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

In The Art Of War - 2The whole armour of God is fulfilled in the person of Christ.

For this reason, the Bible says in Romans 13:14, “But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.”
God calls upon us to put on the Lord Jesus Christ; He is our suit of armour.

The language of our theme scripture is “THE WHOLE ARMOUR OF GOD.”

When we fight outside Christ, that is adorning only part of the armour.

When we want to depend on Christ but also have a plan B ‘in the event that He fails’, that is fighting with only part of the armour.

Christ is our truth; our righteousness, our peace, our faith, our salvation and the very person of the Word of God.

We are more than conquerors THROUGH Christ (Romans 8:37).

The devil has every reason to fear Christ because our Lord gave him a sound beating and defeated him mightily when He descended to hell.

In Colossians 2:15 AMP, the Bible says, [God] disarmed the principalities and powers that were ranged against us and MADE A BOLD DISPLAY AND PUBLIC EXAMPLE OF THEM, in triumphing over them in Him and in it [the cross].

When the enemy sees you, he sees Christ with a clear memory of what befell him in hell.

As Christians, we win in the constant revelation of the person of Christ.

FURTHER STUDY: Colossians 2:15, Romans 8:37

GOLDEN NUGGET:

The whole armour of God is fulfilled in the person of Christ. Christ is our truth; our righteousness, our peace, our faith, our salvation and the very person of the Word of God.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for this knowledge. My triumph is in Christ and nowhere else. I have embraced Christ. I in Him and He in me, for we are one. No scheme of the enemy can intimidate me because I am seated in Christ, far above all powers, dominions and principalities. I am seated in the eternal planes of victory. To the glory of your name.

In The Art Of War - 1The guarantee of victory for any Christian who engages in spiritual warfare is when they put on the whole armour of God.

It is His armour. This means that it has nothing to do with us and everything to do with Him.

Principalities shudder when they behold you because you are covered from head to toe by God. He is your armoury.

The scriptures go ahead to define what this armour is.

In Ephesians 6:14-17, the Bible speaks of girding the loins with TRUTH; the BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, having the feet shod with THE GOSPEL OF PEACE, the SHIELD OF FAITH, the HELMET OF SALVATION and the SWORD OF THE SPIRIT.

The critical factor here is that all of this is the Lord’s.
It is His truth, His righteousness, His faith, His salvation and His Word.

He says that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty THROUGH GOD (2 Corinthians 10:4-5).

Carnality is when we forget that everything about the armour of God has to be in His revelation of it to us.

Victory is not in how you understand truth; it is in how God understands truth.

It is not in your own righteousness but His righteousness which He has imputed upon us.

Victory is not in how you perceive faith; it is His faith for He says that we live BY THE FAITH OF CHRIST (Galatians 2:20).

It is not in how we understand salvation but in His revelation of true salvation. It is not in how we interpret His Word but in His revelation of the Word to us.

This warfare is all about Him.

Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: 2 Corinthians 10:4-5, 2 Corinthians 3:5

GOLDEN NUGGET:

Principalities shudder when they behold you because you are covered from head to toe by God. He is your armoury.

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank you for this Word. I am steadfast in the knowledge that I can never be defeated by the enemy. I am more than a conqueror through Christ who strengthens me because I have the revelation of what it means to wear your armour. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

The Things That Follow Us

Apostle Grace Lubega

Psalms 23:6(KJV); Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

The Things That Follow UsGod has not created the new creature in Christ to want any good thing.

Rather, He has made it the nature of every good thing to want the new creature.

This means that the things that you desire ought to follow you instead of you following them.

Look at the language that He uses. He says, “Goodness and mercy shall FOLLOW you…” (Psalms 23:6). These signs shall FOLLOW them that believe… (Mark 16:17-18).

It is in the nature of these things to follow you.

In Mark 2:27, He says that the Sabbath was made for man and not man for the Sabbath.

Creation was made for you and not you for creation.

This is the mind with which you should look at anything you desire to be added to you.

That business deal wants you more than you want it.

That job wants you more than you want it.

Whatever you desire wants you more than you want it!

FURTHER STUDY: Mark 2:27, Mark 16:17-18

GOLDEN NUGGET:
God has not created the new creature in Christ to want any good thing. Rather, He has made it the nature of every good thing to want the new creature.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank you for this Word. Good things follow me, they are after me, I am not after them. The anointing upon my life attracts everything that I desire because I understand that these things want me and are my portion in Christ. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Free Men

Apostle Grace Lubega

Mark 9:23(KJV); Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

Free MenThe Word of God is the fountain of liberty for all that believe.

God has not purposed that the new creature in Christ, He that is born of God should be conscious of any form of limitation.

That is why on the blank cheque of possibilities that He has handed to us, He uses language such as “ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE,” “YOU CAN DO ALL THINGS” (Philippians 4:13).

You are unlimited the moment you embrace this life in faith.

In fact, human limitation begins with indifference pertaining to what it means to be free.

It is for this very reason that we study the Word of God and invest heavily in it.

This is because the Word is constantly pointing us to the limitlessness that we have by virtue of who we are in God.

Liberty in Christ goes beyond deliverance from disease and demonic oppression; it is more than a financial increase or acquiring a new business deal.

It is the constant acknowledgment of the fact that you are beyond limitation because you are one with God. In Him you live, move and have your very being (Acts 17:28).

This is what makes you a God-being and not a human being. That is the thought life and consciousness of a free man.

FURTHER STUDY: John 10:34, John 1:12-13.

GOLDEN NUGGET:
The Word of God is the fountain of liberty for all that believe.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for this truth. I bask in the liberty that I have in you. I am a partaker of the divine nature, a seed of God, born from above and begotten of the Word that is incorruptible and lives and abides forever. Because you are in me, I am above limitation. I live by this consciousness every day of my life. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Beyond Dominion

Apostle Grace Lubega

Genesis 1:28(KJV); And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Beyond DominionThe first Adam was susceptible to corruption.

However, as our theme scripture teaches, he was given very great responsibility.

Adam had authority over every living thing that moved upon the earth.

Imagine that.

If he that was of a corruptible nature could be entrusted with such power, how much more the incorruptible being that you are.

In 1 Peter 1:23, the Bible says that you have been born again “not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the Word of God, which liveth and abideth forever.”

You have been entrusted with so much more. You are a seed of the Word of God.

The scriptures reveal that this Word framed the worlds (Hebrews 11:3).

You don’t merely have authority over what has been created, you create.

The responsibility that has been given to you as a new creature in Christ is not merely to oversee what God has created; you ALSO have the authority to bring into manifestation that which is not seen; to make things appear.

You have the power to decree and establish that which you speak.

Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Job 22:28, Hebrews 11:3

GOLDEN NUGGET:

The responsibility that has been given to you as a new creature in Christ is not merely to oversee what God has created; you ALSO have the authority to bring into manifestation that which is not seen; to make things appear.

PRAYER: My lord, I know that I have been entrusted with great power and authority. The spirit of dominion is at work in me, not just to have authority over creation but to speak forth things and see them come into manifestation, to frame my world by the power of God. I rise to this reality and embrace it as my truth. By this knowledge, I do mighty exploits. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

The Language, The Food And The Name

Apostle Grace Lubega

Daniel 1:3-7(KJV); And the king spake unto Ashpenaz the master of his eunuchs, that he should bring certain of the children of Israel, and of the king’s seed, and of the princes; Children in whom was no blemish, but well favoured, and skilful in all wisdom, and cunning in knowledge, and understanding science, and such as had ability in them to stand in the king’s palace, and whom they might teach the learning and the tongue of the Chaldeans. And the king appointed them a daily provision of the king’s meat, and of the wine which he drank: so nourishing them three years, that at the end thereof they might stand before the king. Now among these were of the children of Judah, Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah: Unto whom the prince of the eunuchs gave names: for he gave unto Daniel the name of Belteshazzar; and to Hananiah, of Shadrach; and to Mishael, of Meshach; and to Azariah, of Abednego

The Language, The Food And The NameKing Nebuchadnezzar’s instruction regarding certain children of Israel was that those to be chosen had to be of the king’s seed, princes and children in whom there was no blemish.

These were to be taught the language of the Chaldeans, fed on the diet of the Chaldeans and given Chaldean names.

That is the strategy of the enemy when he seeks to pervert the course of destiny for any child of God.

It is also how the systems of this world work to bring children of God constantly under bondage to them.

Christians whose language, diet and name have been changed by the enemy find themselves feeding a system yet themselves are starving; they are growing businesses while their personal lives are not improving; they are prospering the world but they themselves are not prospering.

That is not your portion, child of God!

The language of the believer is distinct. There is a manner of speech that ought to be unique to the new creature. In fact, that is why the Lord gave us tongues which are the very language of heaven and of the spirit.

Your diet is also distinctive. It is the Word of God by which you grow. Job says it was more important to him than necessary food (Job 23:12).

You have a name by God. He says in Revelation 2:17 that He will give you a new name which no man knows.

God has called you to dominion, to be the head and not the tail, to be the source of blessing and not the victim wherever you are, whether at the workplace, in school or in business.

Live your life in the consciousness of one whose language, diet and name have been defined by God.

FURTHER STUDY: Revelation 2:17, Job 23:12

GOLDEN NUGGET:

Live your life in the consciousness of one whose language, diet and name have been defined by God.

PRAYER: My loving God, I thank you for this truth. Everything about my life has been defined by you. I am above and not beneath in everything that I do. I am a thought leader in my sphere of influence. I set policies and define systems. To the glory of your name. Amen.

To Remain In The Land Of Promise

Apostle Grace Lubega

Genesis 12:7-10(KJV); And the Lord appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto the Lord, who appeared unto him. And he removed from thence unto a mountain on the east of Bethel, and pitched his tent, having Bethel on the west, and Hai on the east: and there he builded an altar unto the Lord, and called upon the name of the Lord. And Abram journeyed, going on still toward the south. And there was a famine in the land: and Abram went down into Egypt to sojourn there; for the famine was grievous in the land.

To Remain In The Land Of PromiseThe Lord appeared to Abraham and told him that He would give to him and his seed the land of Canaan.

It was the land to which God had sent him.

However, it happened that a grievous famine befell the land.

What does this tell us?

Sometimes, trials and temptations come to us in the places of our blessing.

God may have placed you in a certain company but the work environment proved to be very difficult.

God may have sent you to a particular place to start a ministry but everything seemed to be working against you.

What do you do in such a state? Do you, like Abraham, go down into Egypt, which represents carnality, the flesh and human effort?

When Abraham went to Egypt to escape the famine in the land of promise, he found himself having to lie about Sarah (Genesis 12:11-13). How about Hagar, whom he eventually lay with to beget Ishmael, was she not from Egypt? (Genesis 16:1-3)

The principle herein is that when you walk out of the place which God has ordained for you, you will find yourself in unhealthy compromises.

Make the deliberate choice to stay where God has called you.

Regardless of how fiery the trial is, stand in the confidence that God did not call you to that place to let you die.

His great name be praised!

FURTHER STUDY: Hebrews 10:39, Hebrews 12:2

GOLDEN NUGGET:

When you walk out of the place which God has ordained for you, you will find yourself in unhealthy compromises. Make the deliberate choice to stay where God has called you.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank you for this Word. I thank you because what you start, you surely finish. You are not the God who causes a woman to conceive and she does not bring forth. You are not the God who sends and does not provide. You are not the God who positions and does not equip. I stand in the confidence that I am where you want me to be. I am a victor wherever I am. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

In The Paths Of Revelation – 2

Apostle Grace Lubega

Matthew 13:52(KJV); Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.”

In The Paths Of Revelation - 2In the life of the spirit, no truth is new, however, revelation is.

What this means is that God has a way of getting the oldest truths and bringing out the newest revelations.

I have heard people who boast that they have read the Bible several times over and have combed it line for line, verse by verse and precept upon precept.

To them, that defines the extent of their knowledge of God and gives them the satisfaction that no more truth can be revealed from the Word.

But that ought not to be so, child of God.

Even a scripture that you have read a hundred times over is still capable of astounding you with the freshest revelation.

God wants to give you a 360-degree angle of every scripture.

When you think you have seen it from angle x, He wants to show it to you from angle y. When you think you have seen it from angle y, He wants to show it to you from angle z.

Read and study the Word in the expectation that God is eager to show you deeper perspectives, deeper insights and deeper revelations.

His great name be praised!

FURTHER STUDY: Ephesians 1:17-18, 1 Corinthians 2:10-11

GOLDEN NUGGET:

In the life of the spirit, no truth is new, however, revelation is.

PRAYER: My loving father, I thank you for your Word. I know that it is bottomless and I read and study it in this understanding. I humble myself to deeper teaching and instruction from the scriptures. I see what no man has seen and hear what no ear has heard because my spirit is yielded to the newness of revelation. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

The Boldness Of Spirit

Apostle Grace Lubega

Hebrews 4:16 (KJV); Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

The Boldness Of SpiritChristians that are bold in spirit are men and women of the Presence.

When a man leaves the Presence for any reason, whether because of crisis or from a sense of condemnation, that man lacks boldness in his spirit.

In our theme scripture, the Lord calls upon us to come to Him boldly.

Boldness is not merely the ability to face up to situations that might otherwise make you afraid; boldness is also the grace to stand on the love of God and seek His face regardless of how you feel.

In this life, there are many things that may happen whose intention is to keep you away from the presence of God.

They may want to keep you away from prayer and communion.

They may want to keep you away from fellowship with the saints and gathering with men of like spirit.

But the Lord calls upon you to be bold.

Bold people are people of prayer. Bold people are people who will never leave the presence of God no matter what happens to them.

Choose to be bold!

Glory to God!

FURTHER STUDY: Hebrews 10:25, Psalms 92:13

GOLDEN NUGGET:

Christians that are bold in spirit are men and women of the Presence.

PRAYER: Father God, I thank you because you have not given me a spirit of fear but of love, power and of a sound mind; my spirit does not cower from your presence because I have understood the love by which you draw and call me to you. I value your presence above all else and continuously keep in prayer because of this understanding. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Boldness In Crisis

Apostle Grace Lubega

1 John 4:18(KJV); There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

Boldness In CrisisA man perfected in the love of God is bold regardless of the circumstance he finds himself in.

The Bible says in 1 John 4:17, “Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.”

How does a bold man behave? Like our theme scripture says, perfect love casts out fear.

This means that a bold Christian is a fearless Christian.

The proof that you are perfected in the love of God is when you don’t walk in fear.

The bold one leans on the love of God when he receives a bad report from the doctor; he leans on that love when the economy is bad; he leans on the love of God when he loses a job; he leans on the love of God when everything around him seems to imply that God has left him.

Such a one assures himself that what he faces is not the end of his ministry, his career, his marriage or his life.

The Bible says in Psalms 91:5 that you shall not be afraid of the terror by night nor the arrow that flies by day.
That kind of Christian does not draw back because the love of God that he has embraced leaves no room for fear.

Refuse to be afraid of anything no matter how terrible it might seem because you know who loves you and whose you are.
Glory to God!

FURTHER STUDY: Psalms 91:5, 1 John 4:17

GOLDEN NUGGET:

The proof that you are perfected in the love of God is when you don’t walk in fear.

PRAYER: Loving father, I thank you for this Word. I receive it with great gladness of heart. Today I stand in the boldness of one who knows she is loved by the Lord; one who has understood that nothing can separate me from the love that I have in you. Nothing shakes or moves me because I know that I am yours and that you will never allow destruction to come near me; you will never suffer me to see corruption. This is the liberty with which I live my life. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
