Thoughts Of Peace

Apostle Grace Lubega

Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV); For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

God has plans for every man in this life.

In our theme scripture, God calls them “thoughts of peace.”

God’s thoughts concerning you are of peace.

The Hebrew word for peace is “shalom” which means COMPLETENESS, SOUNDNESS, WELLNESS, HEALTH and PROSPERITY.

The Psalmist, meditating upon these thoughts exclaimed, “How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.” (Psalm 139:17-18).

The Word of God has revealed these thoughts to us in saying that they are not plans of evil, but THOUGHTS OF PEACE, to give us an expected end!

For this reason, God reassures us by the wisdom of His word that the expectation of the righteous shall not be cut short.

The Bible says in Proverbs 23:18, “For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off.”

Child of God, surely your end is of the Lord; and your story is great! You shall finish well! You shall not die young!

You shall have peace all the days of your life! Wickedness is far from you! You and your seed shall never beg for bread! Your ministry shall not fail! Your marriage shall have peace! Your children shall be for signs, miracles and wonders!

Your mind will always be sound! Divine health is yours! This is your heritage in the Lord! Glory, hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Proverbs 10:24, Isaiah 32:17

GOLDEN NUGGET:
God has plans for every man in this life. He calls them THOUGHTS of PEACE – completeness, soundness, wellness, health and prosperity.

PRAYER: Father, in the name of Jesus I thank you for the greatness of the thoughts of peace you have for me. I am persuaded that it is well with me all the days of my life. Thank you because goodness and mercy follow me all the days of my life. Your peace guards my heart and mind. Surely my end is of the Lord and I will finish well. In Jesus name, Amen.

Rested

Apostle Grace Lubega

Genesis 5:28-29 (KJV): And Lamech lived an hundred eighty and two years, and begat a son: And he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the LORD hath cursed.

In our theme scripture, we see that Lamech begat a son and called him Noah.

When he did, he said, “This one shall bring us REST and comfort from our work and from the [dreadful] toil of our hands because of the ground which the Lord cursed” (Genesis 5:29 AMP).

The names Lamech and Noah mean “Powerful” and “Rest”, respectively. From this, we know that men who walk in the POWER of God are RESTED.

When God called Noah, the WORD of God says that at the time “the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually” (Genesis 6:5).

But Noah FOUND GRACE in the eyes of the Lord. (Verse 8). The Message Bible says, “Noah was different. GOD liked what He saw in Noah.”

Therefore, the Power of God begets rest and by extension, GRACE FINDS MEN OF REST. This simply means a man cannot find grace while he is still established in his own works.

This is because REST is a place of FAITH and by faith we have access into this GRACE. (Romans 5:1)

Romans 11:6 AMP says, “But if it is by grace (His unmerited favor and graciousness), it is no longer conditioned on works or anything men have done. Otherwise, grace would no longer be grace [it would be meaningless].”

You, child of God, are an heir of the REST OF GOD! When you received Christ and eternal salvation, you also entered into His REST. Glory to God!

FURTHER STUDY: Matthew 11:28-29, Ephesians 2:8-9

GOLDEN NUGGET:

Men who walk in the POWER of God are RESTED, and grace finds men of REST.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for the rest that you provide for me in Christ. I thank you because by the ministry of grace you work in me both to will and to do according to your good pleasure. I walk in the finished work of our Lord, Jesus Christ. Your power characterizes my life and fills it with the wonder of your grace.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Discerning The Body

Apostle Grace Lubega

1 Corinthians 11:28-30 (AMP); Let a man [thoroughly] examine himself, and [only when he has done] so should he eat of the bread and drink of the cup. For anyone who eats and drinks without discriminating and recognizing with due appreciation that [it is Christ’s] body, eats and drinks a sentence (a verdict of judgment) upon himself. That [careless and unworthy participation] is the reason many of you are weak and sickly, and quite enough of you have fallen into the sleep of death.

Our theme scripture defines for us what it means to discern the body.

It is to discriminate and recognize with due appreciation that it’s Christ’s body.

One of the ways in which Christians fail to discern the body is when they begin their walk with Christ in the Spirit and then seek to be perfected in the flesh.

Salvation did not come to you because of your works or choice. It was Christ who sought you because He came to seek and save the lost (Luke 19:10).

Examining yourself as required by our theme scripture involves questioning whether your walk with God is entirely the work of Christ, for it is His body.

The scripture says that it is only after you have examined yourself that you can eat of the bread and drink of the cup.

This means that you can never truly relate or commune with God and His Word until you reach the ultimate understanding that it is all about Him. Everything about you is His: your thoughts, your plans, your desires. It is His body. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: 1 Corinthians 12:27, Philippians 2:13

GOLDEN NUGGET:

You can never truly relate or commune with God and His Word until you reach the ultimate understanding that it is all about Him. Everything about you is His: your thoughts, your plans, your desires. It is His body.

PRAYER: My loving God, I thank you for this knowledge and revelation. What a great assurance to know that it is all about you. I have perfect discernment of the body because I know it is you at work in everything I do. This is not about me, Lord, but all about you. My life is your story. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

The Consciences Of Men

Apostle Grace Lubega

1 Timothy 4:1-2 (KJV); Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron.

The conscience is that part in us that hears God.

Our theme scripture reveals that there are people whose consciences have been seared.

There are many things that sear the conscience. They may include listening to the wrong doctrine, polluting oneself with the perversions in today’s media or even believing evil reports.

When one’s conscience is seared, his or her heart is hardened towards God.

This hardness of heart is not only rebellion towards God, but the place where one relates too easily with the carnal life as opposed to the supernatural.

The wonderful news is, regardless of how much a man’s conscience has been seared, there is always a thin layer that remains for that man to still hear God. No one is beyond hope!

When ministering to people, the extent to which that person’s conscience has been seared determines how deep the Word you minister must cut in order to get past the seared places to the part which can still hear God.

That is why, the more indifferent people are to the Word of God, the deeper you preach it. The more they fight and misinterpret the message, the deeper you delve into it. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Isaiah 42:3, Proverbs 4:23

GOLDEN NUGGET:

When ministering to people, the extent to which that person’s conscience has been seared determines how deep the Word you minister must cut in order to get past the seared places to that part which can still hear God. That is why, the more indifferent people are to the Word of God, the deeper you preach it. The more they fight and misinterpret the message is the deeper you delve into it.

PRAYER: My heavenly father, I am thankful for your Word. It cuts asunder, separates bone and marrow and reaches into the deepest parts of my heart. This Word is spirit and life and with it, I zealously guard my heart. I receive the right instruction, my conscience is pure and always clear to hear your voice with clarity.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.

The Blood Of The Minister

Apostle Grace Lubega

Luke 22:44 (KJV); And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.

There is a difference between the blood that Jesus Christ shed at Calvary and the blood that he shed in the garden of Gethsemane.

The blood at Calvary purchased salvation for all men. The blood at Gethsemane is the result of the depth of his agony in the face of what he had to accomplish. It is the blood of the minister.

Every minister ought to have blood in the Testament. This means that if you truly believe, you must be ready to die for the gospel of the kingdom.

This is not just laying down your life but dying to the treasures of this world that may cause you to give the gospel lesser importance than it deserves.

If your blood as a minister is not in the Testament, you can never minister from the heart of God.

It’s the sacrifices you must make every day for the sake of the gospel, you let yourself be girdled and led where the Father wills (John 21:18), you die a thousand deaths every day because your life is not your own.

FURTHER STUDY: 2 Corinthians 12:15, John 21:18

GOLDEN NUGGET:

The blood at Calvary purchased salvation for all men. The blood at Gethsemane is the blood of the minister. It’s what causes you to face the sacrifices you must make every day for the sake of the gospel, you let yourself be girdled and led where the Father wills, you die a thousand deaths every day because your life is not your own.

PRAYER: My Lord, I thank you for the patterns that you have laid out for me in the scriptures. Your birth was a pattern, your teachings were a pattern and your death was a pattern. I learn from your sacrifice and imitate after you to lay down my life for the sake of the gospel. I am not a normal minister because I understand the part of blood in the sacrifices we make for the gospel. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

The Legalism Of The Leper

Apostle Grace Lubega

Numbers 12:6-8 (KJV); And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream. My servant Moses is not so, who is faithful in all mine house. With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the LORD shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?”

The first person to suffer leprosy as listed in the scriptures is Moses’ sister Miriam (Numbers 12:10).

The Bible accounts that when Moses married a Cushite woman, she and Aaron were overtaken by the pride of hearing God too.

They said, “Is it only through Moses that GOD speaks? Doesn’t he also speak through us?” GOD overheard their talk.”
(Numbers 12:2 MSG).

Aaron was spared leprosy only because he stood in the office of the High Priest and it gave him a covering from judgment.

These two neglected to pray for the Man of God Moses and boasted about what they were also able to do because they too could hear the voice of God.

The humility of the grace of God does not teach men to place their abilities above the person of God and His ordinances.

Therefore, cleansing of the leper is the place where the works of men are disqualified as a means to attain self-qualification above the qualification which comes by Christ Jesus. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Ephesians 2:8, Philippians 2:13

GOLDEN NUGGET:
The humility of the grace of God does not teach men to place their abilities above the person of God and His ordinances. Therefore, cleansing of the leper is the place where the works of men are disqualified as a means to attain self-qualification above the qualification which comes by Christ Jesus

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, I thank you for this word. I thank you because the humility of the spirit works in me. My eyes are set on what you can do and not my abilities. I increase in grace and the knowledge of you every day. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

The Avarice Of The Leper

Apostle Grace Lubega

2 Kings 5:20, 25-27 (KJV), “But Gehazi, the servant of Elisha the man of God, said, Behold, my master hath spared Naaman this Syrian, in not receiving at his hands that which he brought: but, as the LORD liveth, I will run after him, and take somewhat of him… And Elisha said unto him, Whence comest thou, Gehazi? And he said, Thy servant went no whither. And he said unto him, Went not mine heart with thee, when the man turned again from his chariot to meet thee? Is it a time to receive money, and to receive garments, and oliveyards, and vineyards, and sheep, and oxen, and menservants, and maidservants? The leprosy therefore of Naaman shall cleave unto thee, and unto thy seed for ever. And he went out from his presence a leper as white as snow.”

In our theme scripture, Naaman, the Syrian had just been healed of leprosy by Elisha the prophet, and departed from the presence of Elisha.

However, Gehazi the servant of Elisha, secretly followed Naaman, the captain of the host of Syria that he might receive the money and gifts that his master, Elisha had refused to accept from Naaman.

Gehazi, having been servant to Elisha, was a witness of the transfer of power from Elijah the prophet unto Elisha by reason of Elisha’s ministry and service to Elijah. All that Gehazi had to do was to serve Elisha faithfully to walk in this grace also.

But Gehazi’s heart was overtaken with the love of material things and of money over the love of God. His heart sought a place of self-gain above service to the God who teaches us to profit. His heart was consumed by the love of this world. And consequently, after his master questioned him of his whereabouts, he lied and was judged to bear Naaman’s leprosy.

When I speak about the cleansing of men from leprosy, we must establish the truth that THE GOSPEL IS NOT COMMITTED TO ONE FOR ONE’S OWN PROFIT.

There are people who consider the work of the ministry to be a place to seek for material gain from the people whom they ought to be ministering to.

That kind of spirit preys on the material possessions of their own flock rather than ministering Christ to them that would probably need healing or some kind of answer.

It asks for what it doesn’t provide for by the faithful obedience to the principles of divine providence and multiplication. This is a kind of leprosy too!

In Matthew 10:9-10 MSG, Jesus said, “Don’t think you have to put on a fund-raising campaign before you start. You don’t need a lot of equipment. You are the equipment, and all you need to keep that going is three meals a day. Travel light.” Glory, hallelujah!

Child of God, The Lord is your exceeding great reward in Jesus’ name! (Genesis 15:1).

Look to God Almighty. God who called you by name and anointed you shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19).

You are the true equipment you need to minister Christ in every place. Practice the divine principles of increase and let God take care of the details. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: 1 Timothy 6:10, Luke 16:13.

GOLDEN NUGGET:
The Gospel was not committed to us for personal gain. Look to God Almighty. You are the true equipment you need to minister Christ in every place. Practice the divine principles of increase and let God take care of the details.

PRAYER: Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for the preservation of wisdom. I thank you because this word works in my life and preserves me. It preserves my ministry. It preserves my career. It preserves my children. It preserves my marriage. It preserves every labour of my hands. I thank you because you are my exceeding great reward. I am greater than this world, and all that is in it. I thank you that even though I am richly blessed, I live free from the love of money because I am it’s master, and it my servant. My heart is filled with your love shed abroad by the Holy Ghost. As a faithful steward I have grace to be diligent in financial principles. In the name of Jesus. Amen!

The Planting Of The Lord

Apostle Grace Lubega

Isaiah‬ 61:3‬ (KJV); …that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

The principle of life is to the effect that there cannot be LIFE without a SEED.

You as a child of God are a seed.

There are seeds that can grow without the best conditions of germination, while there are those that need a lot of all the best conditions.

The Bible says in Isaiah 35:1, “The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose.”

This means that you are the kind of seed that blossoms even in the harshest environment.

People and circumstances may try to bury you forgettting you are a seed and the planting of God, you will sprout again.

This is the very reason why no circumstance should intimidate you: nothing is able to destroy you!

When it looks like you are down and under, when you are thrown in the most aggressive environment, you adopt and thrive because that is your nature. Praise God!

FURTHER STUDY: 1 Corinthians 15:38, Psalms 23:5

GOLDEN NUGGET:

You are the kind of seed that blossoms even in the harshest environment.People and circumstances may try to bury you but because you are a seed and the planting of God, you will always sprout again.

PRAYER: Father in the name of Jesus, I thank you because I am a seed. I am the planting of Almighty God and can never be moved or shaken by any circumstance. I bring forth fruit in my season and my leaves do not wither. I am not moved by what I see, feel, hear, taste or smell and count it all joy in whatever situation. In Jesus’s name, Amen.

Truth And Godliness

Apostle Grace Lubega

Titus‬ 1:1 ‬(KJV‬); Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God’s elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness‬‬

Paul in our theme scripture speaks of truth that is after godliness. The Amplified version calls it the truth which belongs to and harmonizes with and tends to godliness.

It means that where truth is, God must be manifest.

Sadly, we are living in a time when what is truth has been substituted by politically correct statements that attempt to explain away our limitations and give excuses for why we have not seen the great manifestation of the power of God in our generation.

A great man of God once said that it appears that God was more manifest in the Old Testament than He is today yet our covenant is based on greater promises; we have great access; God now lives and moves in us.

The Bible says that the Greek seeks for WISDOM and the Jew requires a SIGN. (1 Corinthians 1:22).

However, what men are teaching today does not amount to the wisdom of God, which is why it is devoid of power and the grace of conviction that can turn the hearts of men.

In the absence of truth, we also cannot minister to those who only believe by seeing signs, miracles or wonders.

Truth must lead to godliness. Where there is truth, there is power; where there is truth, we minister to both the “Greek” and the “Jew”.

FURTHER STUDY: 1 Thessalonians 2:13, Hebrews 4:12

GOLDEN NUGGET:
Truth must lead to godliness. Where there is truth, there is power; where there is truth, we minister to both the “Greek” and the “Jew.”

PRAYER: Father in the name of Jesus, I thank you for this word. It effectually works in me because I believe it. I have received the truth of God in its fullness and manifest godliness everywhere that I go. Miracles, signs and wonders follow me. In Jesus’s name, Amen.

To Err From The Words Of Knowledge

[restabs alignment=”osc-tabs-left” responsive=”false” tabcolor=”#f9a11b” tabheadcolor=”#ffffff” seltabcolor=”#7aa111″ seltabheadcolor=”#ffffff”] [restab title=”English” active=”active”]

Apostle Grace Lubega

Proverbs‬19:27 ‬(KJV‬); Cease, my son, to hear the instruction that causeth to err from the words of knowledge.‬‬

The things that may cause you to err from the words of knowledge sometimes come as instruction. And because they come as instruction, they have instructors.

The language of our theme scripture reveals that these instructions do not cause you to stray IN the words of knowledge but FROM the words of knowledge.

For example, when one is still a babe in the prophetic grace, they may make certain mistakes because they only see in part. This is error IN prophecy.

However, if one is not called to speak for God and uses another spirit to prophecy, regardless of whether what he has spoken is accurate or not, this person has erred FROM prophecy.

If a teacher misunderstands a scripture (perhaps by ignoring its context or to whom it applies), that is error IN the word.

If he teaches something that has absolutely no scriptural backing, that is error FROM knowledge.

When it comes to who instructs you in the things of God, you ought to be discerning child of God.

God has called you to depth of understanding. Determine to know the Word of God for yourself; do not leave your understanding of truth to be defined by another person without the inward witness of the Spirit.

FURTHER STUDY: Proverbs 20:5, Romans 1:20

GOLDEN NUGGET:

God has called you to depth of understanding. Determine to know the Word of God for yourself; do not leave your understanding of truth to be defined by another person without the inward witness of the Spirit.

PRAYER: Father in the name of Jesus, I thank you for this knowledge. I thank you because I never stray from the words of knowledge. I carry a perfect understanding of the Word of God and have the wisdom that discerns the difference between error and truth. I am yielded to the Word and can never be deceived. In Jesus’ name, Amen

The Tent Dweller

Apostle Grace Lubega

Genesis‬ 25:27-28‬ (KJV‬); And the boys grew: and Esau was a cunning hunter, a man of the field; and Jacob was a plain man, dwelling in tents. And Isaac loved Esau, because he did eat of his venison: but Rebekah loved Jacob.‬

Religion has taught Christians that they can receive nothing from God without tireless hard work. In religion, there is no place for favour.

But what does the Bible teach?
Why did God speak of giving you houses you did not build, wells you did not dig and vineyards you did not plant?( Deuteronomy 6:11).

This was the life of Jacob. In sharp contrast to his brother Esau who was a hunter and a very hard worker, Jacob was a tent dweller who was not familiar with the rigorous demands of the fields.

Isaac sought to bless Esau based on what he could do. However, this was not God’s plan. He ensured that Jacob who had done nothing to deserve it would receive the blessing.

In fact, when Rebecca asked Jacob to pose as Esau, she took the responsibility of any curse he might receive (Genesis 27:13). She was a figure of the Christ who became a curse for us in Galatians 3:13.

God couldn’t allow the hunter to arrive before the tent dweller received the father’s blessing; this is what is called the grace of God.

There are times you will hunt for game but there are also times you will be given game. It is your choice child of God.

This does not mean that Christians have to sit back and do nothing, to never work, get jobs and simply await miracles. No!

We work hard and strive to be the very best at what we do but we are also conscious of the favour of God that constantly gives us advantage over others.

Some Christians have feared unmerited blessings because of the religious misconceptions that were preached to them over the years.

Yet the scriptures say “If you be willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land” (Isaiah 1:19). Some Christians are obedient but they are not willing to receive the blessings of God. Child of God, not everything should come to you the hard way.

The favour of God has prepared for you things that you do not deserve. You must believe it!

FURTHER STUDY: John 16:33 AMP, 1 Corinthians 2:12AMP

GOLDEN NUGGET:
Child of God, not everything should come to you the hard way. The favour of God has prepared for you things that you do not deserve. You must believe it!

PRAYER: Father in the name of Jesus, I thank you for this word. I thank you because I do not struggle in life. Things come easily for me. I am willing and obedient in the name of Jesus. I therefore eat of the good of the land. Thank you for your grace that labours in me mightily. Thank you for the access I have to all things in you by this grace. I cannot be denied. In Jesus’s name, Amen.

The Foresight Of The Prudent

The Foresight Of The Prudent
[restabs alignment=”osc-tabs-left” responsive=”false” tabcolor=”#f9a72b” tabheadcolor=”#ffffff” seltabcolor=”#81d742″ seltabheadcolor=”#ffffff” tabhovercolor=”#81d742″] [restab title=”English” active=”active”]

Apostle Grace Lubega

Proverbs 22:3 (KJV); A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.

Our theme scripture tells us that the prudent or wise man foresees evil before it comes, and he hides himself. However, the simple man who is lacking in this foresight is punished.

This means that there are people who suffer affliction because they simply [without knowledge] ignore the things they should have foreseen. But the prudent are preserved because they hide themselves, having foreseen the evil.

The Hebrew word “ra’ah” used for foreseeth is translated to mean “inspect.”

That implies that the prudent man carries the critical faculty within him to inspect any event before it comes to pass.

As a believer, your spirit is faster than any event in your life. You can sort events in the spirit realm before they manifest in the physical realm.

Before cancer enters your body, you can inspect and deal with it because your spirit is faster. Before affliction comes, you know it because your spirit is faster. Before they fire you, you discern this and deal with it because you carry the ability to inspect anything before it occurs in your life. Glory to God!

FURTHER STUDY: 2 Timothy 2:25-26, 2 Corinthians 2:11

GOLDEN NUGGET:

PRAYER: Heavenly Father I thank you for the wisdom of the prudent that is at work in my life. I thank you that because of the life of God inside me, I am quickened to inspect any situation in my life. My ministry, business, and family is preserved because I carry the prevenient grace to perceive and inspect these circumstances in the spirit realm before they occur in the physical realm.
