The Wisdom Of The Ant

 Apostle Grace Lubega

Proverbs 6:6-8 (KJV); Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise: Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler, Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest.

In the scriptures, we are asked to consider the wisdom of the ant because the way it operates ensures that it never runs out.

What is this wisdom of the ant?

From our theme scripture, we understand that the ant PROVIDES TO GATHER as opposed to GATHERING TO PROVIDE: it provides meat in the summer and gathers food in the harvest.

From this analogy, God is pointing you to the operations of FAITH as a principle of divine providence.

Gathering to provide is when one waits to receive from God and only gives out of what he has received.

Providing to gather is the wisdom of the man who even having not received, gives of what he has not seen because he knows he already has it by FAITH.
He doesn’t wait to first gather before he provides, he firstly provides then he gathers.

It is in the law for you to give out of the fruit of your increase but it is faith to give even before you see the manifestation of your increase.
Live with the understanding that you have received all things that pertain to life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3).
Learn to give to the work of the kingdom in faith because that is the wisdom to provide before you gather.

GOLDEN NUGGET:

It is in the law for you to give out of the fruit of your increase but it is faith to give even before you see the manifestation of your increase. Learn to give to the work of the kingdom in faith because that is the wisdom to provide before you gather.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for your wonderful Word. I receive this principle of divine providence and walk diligently to its dictates. Faith defines my giving; I provide to gather, and not gather to provide. As I exercise myself in this wisdom, multiplication comes to my finances and every other area of my life. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
