Apostle Grace Lubega
Philippians 4:6 (KJV); Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
It is an error in doctrine to teach that thanksgiving is a type of prayer.
Thanksgiving is not one of the kinds of prayer, it is a pattern of prayer.
In teaching prayer, our theme scripture says that in every thing by prayer and supplication, WITH thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God.
This means that every manner of prayer you make must be with thanksgiving because the prayer of thanksgiving is the true prayer of faith.
When you pray while giving thanks to God, it is because you believe that you have already received what you ask for and desire.
Thus, there is no such thing as ‘thanksgiving prayers’, rather, there are prayers made WITH THANKSGIVING.
May this knowledge shape your life of prayer.

GOLDEN NUGGET: Every manner of prayer you make must be with thanksgiving because the prayer of thanksgiving is the true prayer of faith.
PRAYER: My Father, I thank You for this truth. I apply this wisdom in my life of prayer. This pattern of thanksgiving yields fruits in my life because it is the pattern of truth. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
