Daniel 5:27 (KJV); Tekel; Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting.
One of the most awakening secrets of the realm of spirits is the fact that God weighs our hearts.
In weighing our hearts, He distributes to each man what his heart is capable of receiving, be it realms or responsibilities.
In Jeremiah 17:10, He says, “I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.”
God accords us power depending on how He has weighed us. In the context of our theme scripture, when the king was weighed and found wanting, he lost his kingdom. Daniel 5:28 clearly states that the kingdom was divided and given to the Medes and Persians.
There are people who are too fast to criticise those that have risen above them in influence and question what those men have in ability, that they themselves do not possess.
But before you judge a man for his success, you must ask yourself what your weight is before God.
Before you crave what another man possesses, do you know how God weighs you?
May this knowledge shape your understanding of growth and success.

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this truth. I know that You do not look on the outside to qualify a man but look at his heart. I yield mine to You that You may deal with it in all the ways that You want to. May You shape my hopes and focus my desires to the things that matter most to You, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
