Apostle Grace Lubega
Matthew 26:41(KJV): Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
In yesterday’s devotion, we learnt the importance of being an active participant in your moments of prayer. One of the ways to participate is to respond to the thoughts and the images that come to you as you are praying.
Today, I wish to open your eyes to another way you can participate.
God has given us the liberty to create using the scriptures.
For example, while in prayer, you may say, “Your Word has said that I am the head and not the tail.” With this same scripture, you build the vision of what it means for you to be the head and not the tail.
You may say, “I thank You because I am a leader in my industry. You have elevated me above all my peers. My ideas take first place. My products take first place. My innovations take first place. I thank You, God because the work of my hand and the fruits of my labour are preferred in the marketplace. In all that I do, I am positioned as a leader in my field, to the glory of Your name.”
That is a man participating in prayer. You cannot pray that way and fail to get answers or see results.

GOLDEN NUGGET: God has given us the liberty to create using the scriptures.
PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this truth. Thank You for continually instructing me in the ways of prayer. Your Word has saturated my spirit and is the object of my petitions and supplications. By the Word I build, create and cast down, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
