Job 38:1-2 (KJV); Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said, Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?
Crises of life will come. The crises may be of your own making or may be caused by circumstances beyond your control. They will come because we live in a fallen world.
However, to the child of God, the crises are not the real issue. The issue is how to stay connected to the Spirit of God even in the deepest crisis.
Sadly, it is during crises that many people darken counsel without knowledge.
They do this by distancing themselves from the presence of God because they feel overwhelmed by circumstances. An example of this is the sister or brother who has stayed away from church for the past three months because they are battling depression and feel disappointed because God did not intervene in a bad episode of their lives.
Darkening counsel is when we stop praying because we feel that the mistakes we have made are too grave and as such, we are no longer worthy to appear in the presence of God.
Even when he feels lost, a wise man never darkens counsel, he knows how to find God. It does not matter how far he may have fallen, it matters that even in that fallen state, he can still hear God.
So, regardless of what you have done or what you are going through, never leave the presence of God. It is in the presence that you will know what you ought to do. It is in the presence that you will find the instruction that will be your way out of that terrible circumstance.

I can never be deceived into thinking that You have cast me away from Your presence. I know that You will never leave me nor forsake me. That is the confidence with which I live my life. Obunaku bubi bw’amagara nibuza kwija. Obunaku bubi obwo nibubaasa kuba nibureetwa iwe ningashi nibubaasa kuba nibureetwa ebintu ebi otarikubaasa kutegyeka. Nibuza kwiija ahabw’okuba nitutuura omu nsi eyaagwiire.

Ayubu 38:1-2 (KJV); Ndipo BWANA akamjibu Ayubu katika upepo wa kisulisuli, na kusema, Ni nani huyu atiaye mashauri giza Kwa maneno yasiyo na maarifa?
Migogoro ya maisha itakuja. Migogoro inaweza kuwa imesababishwa na wewe mwenyewe au inaweza kusababishwa na hali zilizozidi uwezo wako. Itakuja kwa sababu tunaishi katika ulimwengu uliopunguka.
Hata hivyo, kwa mwana wa Mungu, migogoro sio tatizo halisi. Tatizo ni jinsi ya kukaa katika uhusiano na Roho wa Mungu hata katika migogoro ya kina zaidi.
Cha kusikitisha ni kwamba, ni wakati wa migogoro ambapo watu wengi hutia ushauri giza bila kujua.

Hata wakati anahisi kupotea, mtu mwenye hekima kamwe hatatia ushauri giza, anajua jinsi ya kumpata Mungu. Haijalishi ni kiasi gani anaweza kuwa ameanguka, ni muhimu kuwa hata katika hali hiyo ya kuanguka, bado anaweza kumsikia Mungu.
