Apostle Grace Lubega
Hebrews 11:6(KJV); But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
The spiritual realm is a realm of order. Because God is the author of these orders, even how we approach Him in prayer has an order to it. One such order is revealed in our theme scripture.
When we come to God, we must believe that He is. This is the starting point.
Some people have upset this order and instead come to God firstly because He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.
In prayer, their minds are set on the reward: the job they are after, the growth of their business, the house they have wanted for years or the spouse they are believing God for.
Prayer that is reward-driven merely makes God a means to an end and not the end in Himself.
Change your mindset child of God. May your desire be to know Him and to understand His person. May you seek Him for what His heart can reveal and not what His hand can give.
When you understand the God that is, reward becomes a result and not a pursuit.

GOLDEN NUGGET: Prayer that is reward-driven merely makes God a means to an end and not the end in Himself. When we come to God, we must believe that He is.
PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this Word. You are my beginning and my end, the alpha and omega of my life. I know who You are and what You can do. My soul pants after deeper intimacy with You. The more I know You is the more I want to know You because You are bottomless. This day, You take me deeper in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
