Apostle Grace Lubega
Haggai 2:4-5(KJV); Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith the Lord; and be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be strong, all ye people of the land, saith the Lord, and work: for I am with you, saith the Lord of hosts: According to the word that I covenanted with you when ye came out of Egypt, so my spirit remaineth among you: fear ye not.
We live in a dispensation where the Spirit is in us and freely available to us. The question then is, do we really know the Spirit in us?
Despite the fact that the Spirit is with us, in us and for us, there are Christians who still make very short-sighted prayers. Their life of communion is clogged by personal needs and not the bigger picture of what God seeks to do in us.
But let’s look at history.
The same Spirit worked through men that split seas, caused axes to float, called fire from heaven, turned back the clock of time and stopped the sun. The Lord says, that same Spirit remains among us.
In the New Testament dispensation, the Spirit worked in men like Stephen to heal the sick, cast out devils and open blind eyes. He worked in Paul and anointed everything that touched him. He worked in Peter and anointed his shadow.
The Spirit worked in John Wesley to shake a continent, in Alexander Dowie to cast sickness out of an entire land, in William Seymour to blaze revival in Azusa Street.
The same Spirit remains among us.
God is calling upon the church to place a demand on Him, to elevate our vision beyond desire for the things money can buy and to seek Him for a deeper shaking than the earth has seen before; that nations will bow to the name of Jesus and that the gospel will abound in all the corners of the earth.
His name be praised!

GOLDEN NUGGET: God is calling upon the church to place a demand on Him, to elevate our vision beyond desire for the things money can buy and to seek Him for a deeper shaking than the earth has seen before; that nations will bow to the name of Jesus and that the gospel will abound in all the corners of the earth.
PRAYER: Lord, You are great! I know that more than ever, You are doing great things in the earth. My heart is open to what You want to do and my Spirit is tuned to what You are pouring out upon us. I am positioned for Your great work and I am available to divine purpose. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
