Apostle Grace Lubega
Psalm 27:4 (KJV); One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple.
God desires that we dwell in His secret place.
In this secret place, we receive the true vision of who He is. Moses, a man of prayer, experienced this truth. The Bible says in Exodus 33:11 that he spoke to the Lord face to face.
This explains why his relationship with God was different from that of the other Israelites. In Psalm 103:7, the scriptures reveal that God made His WAYS known unto Moses and His ACTS to the children of Israel.
If you have the right vision of God, you will always be rightly instructed.
Take the example of parents and their children. Sometimes, a glance from a parent to a child is enough to communicate volumes. One look can tell a child to stop being naughty, cease pestering a visitor or behave! Such a look is wasted on a blind child. So it is with God; there are instructions you can only receive when you behold His face.
This is exemplified in Psalm 32:8. The Bible says, “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.”
God instructs us through our vision of Him.

PRAYER: Loving Father, I honour You. I thank You because You have invited me to deeper places of intimacy with You. I respond to these invitations and as I do, I behold the true vision of who You are. In this vision, I receive great instructions, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
