Apostle Grace Lubega
1 John 5:11(KJV); And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
One of the great misconceptions about the life of salvation is that it is a life only to be enjoyed after we die and go to heaven.
As such, some ministers of the gospel teach it as a life of struggle and a never-ending, strength-sucking battle against the forces of evil.
In this context of constant pain, there is no room for enjoyment. In fact, in some Christian circles, any form of pleasure in the life of a Christian is frowned upon.
In these same circles, suffering is considered as virtuous.
This kind of teaching greatly undermines the redemptive work of Christ at Calvary. It postpones the believer’s triumph until the day they die and are translated into eternity.
It prepares believers for heaven but not to live as victors on the earth.
The truth is that God gave you life that you may enjoy all things. He gave you all things that you may enjoy life(1Timothy 6:17,
He is a God of pleasure and finds pleasure in your pleasure. He desires that you enjoy your journey on the earth. He came that you may have life in abundance (John 10.10).
Make the choice to enjoy the life of salvation. Like the prophet Isaiah said, “With joy, you shall draw water out of the wells of salvation.”(Isaiah 12:3).

GOLDEN NUGGET: He is a God of pleasure and finds pleasure in your pleasure. He desires that you enjoy your journey on the earth. Make the choice to enjoy the life of salvation.
PRAYER: Father, I thank You for the great sacrifice of Calvary. Thank You for saving me and purchasing my eternal redemption. I am a new creature in Christ. The fruits of that reality are manifest in my life today; not tomorrow or years to come but today. I believe this truth and walk in it daily. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
