Apostle Grace Lubega
Revelation 12:11 (KJV); And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.
Over the course of my life in ministry, I have heard many ‘plead the blood of Jesus’. This has been done as a means to avert evil, deter the enemy and keep the forces of darkness at bay.
But how many people plead the blood and still fall into all manner of travesty? There are those who have pleaded the blood and been attacked by thieves; pleaded the blood and fallen sick; pleaded the blood and made losses in their businesses.
Does that mean that the blood of Jesus is powerless? Of course not.
What many of these people have not understood is that the blood is not merely a weapon to be brandished about like a magic wand, it is a REVELATION.
Because they lack revelation, in spite of the fact that they plead the blood, they still believe themselves to be under bondage and the power of the enemy.
The blood is not to be used like some wizard’s blasting rod to be waved at demonic forces and expecting them to flee at the mere utterance of those words. That is not how it works. One must have a deep conviction of what the blood of Christ did and what it means to the New Creature in Christ.
‘Pleading the blood’ cannot help a man who has not understood his victory through Christ.
When someone pleads the blood of Jesus, they claim the right to having been completely released, delivered and set free by what Christ accomplished through His death and resurrection.
They stand in the God-given authority of the righteous against all forces of wickedness.

GOLDEN NUGGET: When someone pleads the blood, they claim the right to having been completely released, delivered and set free by what Christ accomplished through His death and resurrection.
PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this truth. Thank You for Your precious blood that was shed at Calvary for my sake. By the shedding of that blood, I received life. I stand by the revelation of that blood and by it I prevail, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
