Apostle Grace Lubega
Psalm 92:13-14(KJV); Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;
Submission to spiritual authority is one of the fundamental principles of growth in the Christian faith. Hebrews 13:17 reveals that it profits an individual to submit to God-ordained authorities.
From our theme scripture, the Bible reveals that it is a source of flourishing; that even in his old age, a submitted man will bear fruit. This means that submission preserves the graces that operate in our lives. What God has imparted in us will only continue to thrive because it exists under a specific anointed cloud.
In this life of salvation, I have seen brooks of men and women greatly called of God dry up simply because they tore off certain garments under which they were anointed. Some of these saints shunned the hands that were laid upon them because they felt that they did not need the men that God had sent before them.
Church hopping has the capacity to kill your destiny and the graces that have been imparted in you. In church hopping, many ‘mix the seed’ and destroy the integrity of the message that must grow them.
If you are serious about your salvation, understand where you must be planted. Do not go about uprooting yourself every few weeks because you have been offended or do not like how some sister spoke to you.
A planted man is a stable man and stability is the guarantee that you will grow in the things of God. Hallelujah!

PRAYER: My Father, I thank You for this word. Thank You for the spiritual authorities that You have set before me. I honour the fact that You have anointed them for my sake. I know how to receive from them and understand the wisdom of being planted. I bear fruit every day, to the glory of Your name, Amen.
