Apostle Grace Lubega
Acts 10:1-2 (KJV); There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band, A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway.
Our theme scripture reveals that the household that opened the gospel to the gentiles was a praying household.
As a family, you must have a family altar where you meet and pray together. Many things change on family altars that could affect the whole world.
On family altars, family members are prayed into deliverance and transformation. By deliberate prayer as families, we can change entire households and generations to come.
No family is changed by mistake. Families are not redeemed by their hard work or lucky connections. It can only take the hand of the Almighty God.
It was God who changed the household of Rahab. From being a prostitute, she was grafted into the lineage of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. It was God who restored the household of Abraham from the reproach of childlessness to fathering nations.
Purpose to be a family that prays.
Prayer guards your house and will keep certain destructive elements far from you. It will keep your children from drugs and keep turmoil from your family doors and compounds.
